1  Economy / Currency exchange / Looking to sell $1800 in PayPal for BTC on: July 21, 2012, 01:48:32 AM
I've done thousands in trades mainly for BTC to MoneyPak
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=84924.0

I also have done thousands in trades for gaming items
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=84282.0

This money is coming from a PayPal business verified account that dates from 2006.

I need approx $1800 worth of bitcoins. I can send as a gift if you would like.

EDIT: I do not need this trade anymore, I may need more in the future.
2  Economy / Marketplace / 1 BTC reward to someone who can help me with my monitor issue on: July 18, 2012, 01:20:19 AM
My mother called up and said the power went out and that she couldn't get the monitor on her desktop computer on, so she changed to an older monitor we had.

I figured she just didn't know what she was doing, anyway a couple months later when I'm at her house I figure I could use the monitor as an extra screen for my laptop, when I plug it in it appears to be working correct, it flashes the ACER logo and says "no input" or whatever because it is yet to be plugged into the laptop.

Now, as soon as I plug into the laptop, the screen appears to just shut off, the button for power doesn't do anything. My PC detects it though, and I can now move my mouse completely out of the screen as though it is working.. but I see no picture.

This is a pretty new hardly used 22'' monitor.

Any ideas what is going on?

There is also this button on the monitor that if I hold down for a few seconds the screen comes up to where I can see it.

But then it poofs in about 10 seconds and I have to press the button again.. What is crap is this.

Figure out what the issue is and I'll send ya 1 BTC.  Smiley

Monitor is ACER p215h if that helps.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / **ATTENTION: Why is harassment, abusive behavior and stalking allowed here? on: July 07, 2012, 06:09:14 PM
Being that this is the more popular section of the forum, I would really appreciate the community's input on this very crazy situation I not only have with a member of this forum, but a mod.

7  Other / Meta / A mod here believes I should be scammer tagged and keeps stalking/harassing me on: July 06, 2012, 08:41:29 PM
This user - paraipan will not leave me alone and it really started making me wonder how on earth is this person a mod?

To sum things up I will just copy and paste what I already mentioned in a thread I created offering BTC if someone coughs up a slogan I like and decide to use. This has gone on enough.

================================
DISCLAIMER: Some people (more like a specific someone) seems to think that I have to choose a slogan within a certain time frame or otherwise I'm a "scammer" and need to "get off my high horse". This is not a contest with a time frame, if I like a slogan and use it, the winner gets the reward. That simple. If not then no one gets anything and I may up the bounty yet again to make things fun. Why some people feel the need to harass and stalk me ruining the fun I do not know, all I know is they sure need to work on some basic social skills, why this person is a mod I have no clue.

I have tried multiple times to simply ignore this person after awhile, but recently I found a thread he dedicated to me which I found funny and was disgusted by, more so because this person is a mod on these forums.

Here are some of my threads, they aren't related to this topic yet the user (and mod) "paraipan" felt the need to stalk/harass me constantly.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=78589

I believe there may have been 2-3 more but I don't feel like digging further.

So far reading around I have found out this person is very well known for being basically a complete troll, someone even decided to blog about him on bitcoin shit list.
http://bitcoin-shitlist.com/2012/02/16/paraipan/

On btc-otc he has some bad ratings including one that doesn't suprise me--"Resorts to violence for competitive advantage; resorts to childish namecalling and further threats when chastised for it."

Quote from: Anonymous
P.S. Yes, Paraipan is a scumbag. We kicked him out of the magazine's translator group because of his improper behavior regarding Bitcoinica as well.

Full thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=90214.0

After all this I thought it was finally over and this guy would leave me alone, but no today I get a PM from him and he said something that made me have to finally post a dedicated thread about this situation, and I quote--

"Btw, others are getting the scammer tag in this community for doing the same thing as you do, so I'm going to look into it, you can count with it."

Are you kidding me?? This guy just will not stop, even though I have done thousands worth of trades in the currency exchange forum and have several businesses that accept BTC, I should be called a scammer because I haven't chosen anyones suggested slogan?? This guy is really driving me nuts and its not just me that believe this guy is an embarrassment to this community.

"paraipan" has proven himself to be a short tempered, annoying, stalkitive and possibly a insane individual that I believe should be banned off this forum. I've had enough, I have never seen this kind of crazyness from any sort of mod on all the forums I'm a member of ever, heck not even a regular member would act this way and if they did--they would get banned for such activity.

This guy has stressed me enough to the point where I just want to pull my hair out, and I repeat... Why on earth is paraipan even a mod?

EDIT2: Yet again even more stalking and harassment.

Updated.

You took a "dump" in the community by making this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=91985, didn't even reply with a "thank you" or "get lost" in you slogan thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=90214.0 and now you carry on like nothing happened.

Are you brain-damaged Tizzy?

8  Other / Off-topic / What do you think about the 2012 doomsday, I mean really.. it is different. on: July 06, 2012, 03:51:45 PM
The more you look into the history of other doomsday dates/predictions, the more you find dead ins.

For this 2012 prediction, you find nothing but time leading to this date, through many religions and the most popular one most people know of is the Mayans. Now, I'm not saying the world will end, but I am almost convinced now that something horrible will indeed happen.

I'm sure most of you bitcoiners/programmers have heard of the "web bot" which is yet another thing on the long list that says something horrible is to happen in May of 2012..

-A second depression, triggered by mass layoffs, bankruptcies, and the popping of the derivatives bubble.
-A "data gap" has been found in 2012 running through May 2013. One explanation is that "our civilization gets knocked back to a pre-electronic state," such as brought about by devastating solar activity.
-A new benign form of capitalism will emerge during 2017–2020.[20]

If you don't know about the web bot it basically was a programmed developed in the 90s to make predictions of trends in the stock market, but was later found to have much more use than that which included predicting future events.

10  Economy / Speculation / BTC will hit $8+ within one month of this thread. on: June 29, 2012, 11:37:26 AM
That is all.
11  Economy / Marketplace / 6 BTC to someone who comes up with a slogan I like on: June 27, 2012, 10:31:27 AM

UPDATE: We now have a mascot.  Smiley

This is an upped bounty from my previous threads:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83597.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83972.0

Current bounty includes:
6 BTC
Life time web hosting. (Linux/cPanel)
Life time domain. (.com, .net, .org, .biz or .info)
A free TizzyTazzy shirt when available.

I run a web hosting company that accepts BTC through BitPay as well as traditional currencies and am in the process of getting a complete website design remodel and a crazy/friendly mascot character to go with the name. The site link is in my signature.

I'm looking for a fresh cool crazy spontaneous slogan. Nothing generic like "Web Hosting Solutions" -- something unique and different.  Don't be shy and offer as many slogans as you want. Smiley

If I like it enough to use your slogan I'll send the bounty your way! Have fun and thanks for your help.

Some tips:
Don't use TizzyTazzy or Host in the slogan itself.
The target audience is everyone in general, from personal dummies who know nothing to tech geeks to big businesses.
No technical or BTC slogans, we simply accept and support BTC, TizzyTazzy doesn't revolve around it.

On another note:
If your in the business of making animated presentation videos, feel free to shoot me a PM with specifics, work you have done, pricing, etc.

Current possible choices:
TizzyTazzy - Solutions you'll RIOT for

13  Economy / Trading Discussion / ***WARNING TO PEOPLE WHO USE MONEYPAK/WALMART MONEY CARD*** on: June 23, 2012, 03:22:20 AM
This is continued from this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=88968.0
This is my service thread, My BTC for your MoneyPak - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=84924.0

I just got off the phone from a rep and they concluded that even though I have done dozens upon dozens of transfers without complaints, that because of ONE SINGLE person disputing a $100 reload that apparently I'm the fraudster and need to provide every single receipt for all MoneyPak reload transactions in the past month and if I cannot, the remaining balance will remain locked without any appeal.

What?!!?!?

They basically just said "yeah your money is ours now sucker".

What kind of bullshit is this? I'm so raged right now.  Angry
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Wow, dispute open against a MoneyPak I reloaded! (rothglobal = possible scammer) on: June 22, 2012, 12:00:06 AM
I do lots of BTC to MoneyPak transfers here thinking it would be a cheap and safe way to recieve funds for my BTC. Apparently you can still open disputes..

My card is locked down now due to someone opening a dispute of a $100 trade I did.

After they provided me the MoneyPak number I did some back tracking and found it came from this user:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=59224

Just waiting a reply from him now.. But man I had no idea people could even file disputes against MoneyPak.

Sigh.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Walmart Moneycard Closed My Account on: June 19, 2012, 02:34:25 AM
I do a lot of selling BTC for MoneyPak that can be used to reload prepaid cards and other places online such as PayPal.

Today I noticed several times my WM card was getting declined, so I called in and they unlocked the hold for my money, but they stated my account with them will be closed next month and that if I load any more money they will freeze my funds again.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

They stated the reason was for "suspicious moneypak reloads"..

Why advertise a product for payment of services if your going to lock an account after around $2k or so in transactions?

17  Economy / Currency exchange / ☆ My BTC for your MoneyPak/CASH ☆ [ 1/1 exchanges ] on: June 02, 2012, 05:02:27 PM
Currently I have: 0 BTC needed to be converted.
(LAST UPDATED 7/23/12)

Trading 1/1 at the www.mtgox.com average rate.

**New terms: I'm currently not trading less than $100 at a time, no exceptions.
**New terms: You must pay for the MoneyPaks in CASH, no exceptions.
**New terms: Write "chris@tizzytazzy.com" on the receipt + the date -- then scan or take a picture of it and email me a clear copy.
DO NOT EMAIL ME ASKING TO TRADE, ALL TRADES WILL BE DONE BY PM ON THIS FORUM.

Reasoning behind the new terms: Loading lots of MoneyPaks is found to be frowned upon and looked at as suspicious activity--taking more bulky trades is better approved of. Paying in cash gets rid of the risk for charge backs. Scanning a copy of the receipt writing proof of something related to me provides further protection. View more information on why I have these terms here.

LINKS:
www.moneypak.com - $4.95 fee for any amount $20-$1000
MoneyPak is commonly found at Walmart or Walgreens and only available to the US.

I will not accept PayPal or any other payment processor.
