521  Economy / Lending / Down payment on Silver Bullion: 1oz .99 fine/2.4 BTC on: December 14, 2012, 08:54:35 PM
Hi prospective buyers,
I had previously posted asking for a larger loan, but I no longer need it because I found a listing (not on here) for silver scrap that I could afford-it was an incredible deal. Anyways, if you check my profile my posts, etc you'll see my thing is refining silver. I buy scrap (925, not 90 coins) and purify it by adding pure silver shot and filtering out impurities. Recently I bought a professional mold set, so my bars will be...well, bars. I stamp them with purity and weight, and my mint signature. I usually sell these bars at spot, and people buy them. One customer had one of my bars assayed, and purity was confirmed. Now, 2.4 BTC is well below spot for an ounce of silver. But I am willing to offer it if you pay now. I am just waiting on the scrap I purchased to come in the mail-your bar will be the first I make. Let me know!
522  Economy / Lending / Seeking loan of 7.5 BTC: 9 BTC in less than 30 days (after Christmas) on: December 14, 2012, 07:29:12 AM
Hi,
I really want to buy some more refining stuff for my silver. I have less than one BTC. If you can loan me 7.5 BTC , I will refund you w/ 9 BTC in less than 30 days (aka after X-mas). Please check posts of mine for validation. Anything else the  lender requires, I can provide.
Thank you
523  Economy / Goods / More hand-poured ingots coming... on: December 14, 2012, 04:01:59 AM
I just won this solid silver piece of Garlic for a good price LOL

Wish I knew the story behind this thing. Anyway, going to be making more ingots soon, I got about 5 ounces of .99 to work with so if you want a custom size or purity or anything let me know. Also have professional mold now, can't wait.

525  Economy / Lending / Just throwing this out there: get your investment back in SILVER on: December 13, 2012, 07:02:20 PM
Hi everyone,
I'm not even sure I want to ask for a lone because I don't know if I can commit to it. If you check my profile, post history, etc. you'll see that I refine silver. I usually work with scrap jewelry (925) cause its easier to refine than coins (90), but I can do coins. There is a post on bitmit for scrap that I could refine A LOT of silver with. I can do bars/rounds in any weight, any purity-including .99. I just got the custom mold set and crucible I've been waiting for, so I'm equipped. I don't have the 17 BTC that the auction is going for. What I can promise someone if they want to lend is that their investment would be well worth it-I could refine that scrap into professional .99 bars in ANY size. Here is the auction: https://www.bitmit.net/en/item/11264-silver-scrap-lot-331grams-11-68oz-sterling-and-90
What's in it for me? For one thing I enjoy melting. And I would probably take an ounce or so for myself. Because for one thing, refining this would require a lot of silver shot, which I have to supply myself.
If anyone is interested please PM me. Time is limited because its an auction.
Thanks
526  Economy / Goods / The Cutest Little Silver Bar You Ever Did See 1.24 BTC OBO on: December 13, 2012, 05:18:27 AM
Up for sale is the cutest little Silver bar you ever did see. I have my new crucible and some scrap-I was waiting on some .99 shot from ApMex to do the melting. But, I'm not the most patient person in the world, wanted to see how the new crucible worked and just use my blow torch lol.
So, what you have here is 18.32 grams of 92.5% (NOTE: this is not .99, its .925 aka Sterling Silver). Silver closed @ $33.707/troy ounce (31.1 grams). This bar is 18.32 grams. Multiply that by .925=16.946 grams of Pure Silver. At today's spot price that means it is worth $18.02 (let me know if I messed up on my math).
I think this is a cool thing to have. For one thing, it is Silver lol. I'm going to make more of these same size bars to give to friends/coworkers for Christmas. It definitely makes a good paper weight (very dense)! I think they're the perfect gift-cool, thoughtful, useful and valuable!

Considering MtGox, the BTC is @ $13.6. That would make this little guy 1.32 BTC.

HOWEVER, shipping with me is always free (so long as you're in the US-if you're not I'll charge $2 USD to ship)
VERY IMPORTANTLY: This price is not set in stone. It was just something I did for fun. We can make a deal w/price (highest bidder), or I'm into almost any barter/exchange option. So, if you have an offer, please PM me!

527  Economy / Auctions / Advertise your Bitcoin Business for Free: Pick a number 1-100 on: December 12, 2012, 09:48:04 PM

That's right! I've built a site that will profile a different Bitcoin business each week, and allow users to buy one of the business's products at a special price. I've paid for the premium Google AdSense package, so this baby (and your business profiled on it) should show up in any search even roughly relevant! I am still developing it-I want to add more features to make it more interactive.
But this is the deal-I'll be posting here and throughout bitcointalk.org. The Bitcoin Business that comes closest to the number between 1 and 100 that I'm thinking of will be the first profiled on the site! So, if you have something you want to sell and really get out to people, post a number 1-100! I'll announce the winner tomorrow (Thursday) night!

531  Bitcoin / Project Development / Website Developer/Partner needed ASAP for solid BTC site! on: December 09, 2012, 05:07:40 AM
I am looking for a website builder/developer with some expertise (showing me some sites you have created works as a resume for me). I have a solid domain and an even more solid plan for the sight. I'll handle the business aspects of the site and its operation and you could deal with tech stuff-a 50/50 partnership works for me.
I'm about as serious with this as I have been with anything else in my life. This opportunity is golden, but it has to be taken NOW. Looking for somebody else just as motivated as me.
Please PM!

533  Economy / Goods / If there are any beer connoisseurs on here... on: December 08, 2012, 10:28:42 AM
If you are what the Subject said, you should already know (from pictures) what it is. In case someone isn't a "connoisseur" but is interested in a finer beer, this is the one. Its called a Sour. This one has a sour-cherry taste.
The beer itself is aged in used wine barrels for over a year, to capture the taste of the wine. This company (Russian River Brewing Co) is based out of a small town in California, and all of their products are hard to find. I have been aging this one myself for about 8 months. Now it is at great drinking time. Notice it is batch 3, bottle 10. I thought that was really cool. I think they MIGHT be making batch five, but batch 4 is gone.
Anyways, treat yourself or someone who likes beer (everyone). This would literally be a great X-Mas gift: its not too expensive, its truly "nice", and it shows a personal touch.
I am asking 2.8 BTC for this bottle. To give you an idea, it was $15 when I bought it, and aged ones go for multiple hundreds of dollars (check).
Hope to hear from some of you soon.

534  Bitcoin / Project Development / Looking for site builder/partner (domain name, idea of type of site) on: December 08, 2012, 08:15:10 AM
Hi all,
I'm looking for an experienced site builder. I would expect this site builder to be familiar whatever platform it is a professional web site runs on these days.  I have a solid domain and business plan. I don't want to reveal too much on here, but if you fit the bill and are interested please message me. I am not necessarily just looking for someone to create a site for me. We could run it collectively and be partners. All of that we can work out, but if your general interest is captured please PM me.

535  Economy / Goods / Gold 1926 2 1/2 Dollar Indian Coin [INDISTINGUISHABLE REPLICA] on: December 06, 2012, 05:07:00 AM
Up for sale is a Replica 1926 2 1/2 dollar gold coin. But I could tell you it was real and you wouldn't know. This isn't the replica you see on some eBay tutorial. I know the factory manager in China these come from. They're simply indistinguishable from the real ones. The gold is cold, heavy and has a natural patina.
Price is 1 BTC including shipping.

536  Economy / Goods / Tiffany & Co. "Atlas" Money Clip [Price Reduced] on: December 05, 2012, 09:44:26 AM
I'm sure I hold the record for the most posts in the last 3 days. Just understand I'm trying to get into the BTC "game". I want to look at my wallet and see like 100 in there. So I'm going to post anything I think someone might be interested in. I apologize if I made the forum annoyed.

Anyway, this is a good replica Tiffany & Co Atlas 925 Money Clip. This is a "past season" piece and Tiffany being what it is only puts their current lineup for sale. But to get an idea what real ones go for, check this out: http://www.tiffany.com/Shopping/CategoryBrowse.aspx?cid=96681&mcat=148212#p+1-n+12-cg+viewPaged-c+96681-s+5-r+101288142-t+-ri+-ni+1-x+-pu+-f+

This things nice and shiny, heavy, and has a tight clasp. Roman numerals on the back (it was from Tiffany "Atlas" Collection a year or two ago. The front you probably read, but it says simply: "Tiffany & Co 925.

I am asking 0.7 for this thing, which I think is fair. Price includes shipping within US.
Thanks!

537  Economy / Economics / You Know Whats f**king Sad? on: December 05, 2012, 09:15:05 AM
First of all, the need to create Bitcoins. But even more than that-bitcoins are tied to the USD. And do you know HOW MANY people are buying silver/gold instead of taking their "paper". Cause thats what it is-paper. Even change will be soon. Mr GreenJew (no offense) just stays posted all day making as much money as he wants. The reason things 99% of the time are raised in  price is because of inflation-GreenJew got excited and printed a bunch more.
Basically, the USD is backed by...not even the US (its not Federal)paper?
Now, we've stepped back in time to when the Silver Standard existed.
We are almost literally repeating historical economics that did not work out so well.
God help us.
538  Other / Beginners & Help / Who is the Greatest Holder of Bitcoins? on: December 05, 2012, 08:51:02 AM
Sorry, technically I'm not a "n00b" but I was afraid of  embarrassing myself (no offense to you guys).
This is it: is there one greatest BTC holder and do we know who he or she(unlikely) is? Or is that just not public at all. My guess would be high-ups at mtgox and other exchange sites and believe it or not Silk Road-the tor site you can buy drugs from. I read an article that it was 22 million/year. Now I expect that is gross. taking percentage of purchases or whatever else they do to make money, those guys (shit maybe even just 1) are, I'm sure, SWIMMIN in it.
Even if you dont know who we can speculate back and forth. Trying to get something going here.

540  Economy / Goods / 2 x Professionally Made Double Headed Quarters: .325 BTC Shipped on: December 05, 2012, 06:39:52 AM
I didn't plan to sell these things for so cheap...I've had em since I was a kid. I got one as change one time and so did my dad. They are a double headed quarter but you would NEVER be able to tell. They're just something cool to have. Take advantage of the quick BTC spike! One of em is '74 both sides, one is '89 and '83 on either side-you'll see in pictures. Curious to see if anyone is interested in these.
