Hey everybody, I have a few pieces of propaganda art from communist China during its hayday (pun intended). I have three prints that I got from the family member of a Chinese government official who defected to the states. They are prints from the Cultural Revolution circa 1973/74. The person I bought them from didn't have the complete collection (I doubt they would have been selling them individually if they did), but they had an entire ledger full. I found out they were issued to higher-ranking members of the Propaganda Department. The ledger contained a print of all the artwork painted and commissioned to be hung throughout the country during those years. They are 100% authentic and I will lend my full name and expertise to that. I had pictures of the ledger but lost the phone the pictures were on. I want to find someone to take them to to be *officially* (my mentoring professor corroborates it and even bought a couple of prints herself) authenticated. Anyways, these are the three prints I have. Let me know if you are possibly be interested in any of them. (they are just smaller than 8.5'' x 11''. I can't find a ruler around but I'd say they're about 7'' x 11'', although they're in centimeters)    P.S. If you can understand Chinese it would be awesome if you could tell me what these say. I have some idea but would like a better one. I know the characters in red are the "motto" of that picture. I believe the smaller characters in blue are the name of the artist. |

Hey everybody,
I just wanted to get some other opinions on this. I have a good amount of silver (just over 100oz). I bought it recently so the most I ever paid per ounce was probably like $27. I keep waiting and waiting for it [silver] to go up. Today I had kind of an epiphany. Silvers going nowhere (yet demand still exists for it), bitcoin is going up.
SO, this is my question: Should I Trade My Silver For Bitcoins?

So, a while ago I was looking for a classy way to rep BTC on my vehicle. I decided to go with a license plate frame. I looked and looked but everything was cheap-plastic or just not exactly what I had in mind. So, I found a website that let you create your own. You could choose from a variety of high quality chrome designs-it wasn't cheap. I sported it on my car for a month or so, then decided to replace it with a frame from my alma-matter. SO, I have this very nice BTC license plate frame that I know would look great on anybody's car. Including shipping, I'm only asking  , which is less than half of what I paid before shipping. Hey everybody, I'm a student of Communism in East Asia, focusing particularly on North Korea. I'm also a coin collector. I found an NGC graded North Korea coin-I had never seen one before...so I bought it. Its real; it checks out with the NGC registry. I had another North Korean coin I wanted to send in for grading. So, I did. Three weeks later I get my invoice returned with a handwritten note "NGC DOES NOT GRADE N KOREAN COINS". This is also documented formally on the invoice. SO, what I have here is actually pretty rare-and would include the invoice so it'd be a great collector's and conversation piece. I am asking  which includes delivery anywhere in the United States.  Found this thing after a wreck today before the clean-up crew got there. Just kind of reached out of my car and grabbed it lol. Not sure what model/year its for, but I know its current. Its the hood emblem. It would make a good desk/wall piece if you drive a Nissan. I'll ship it anywhere in the US for 0.032BTC. |

I could explain what this is, but I think it'd be more fitting if Casascius did (excerpt taken directly from email): "I don’t think I’ll end up doing more 5 blanks, as I (to my surprise) am finding that people still want 5BTC coins. I have no idea why. But I think I will end up making hologrammed coins out of my remaining stock and then that’s it. So your blanks indeed will be relatively rare. I think I may have shipped out less than 1000 total blanks."You might think that you can turn a 5BTC coin into one of these "blanks" by just getting all remnants of the hologram off. But, whatever you do, someone (maybe a trained eye) will notice its a "circulated" coin. An original blank (like this) is obviously not circulated, and so it looks perfect on BOTH sides-(see pictures). And the overarching thing - if Casascius made it and confirms it is real-it is just that ; ) So, realize what it truly is you're buying! *Case is included. This round has only been handled by gloved hands.* I'm not putting a price on it. Please either post or PM me your offers. If I see one I like, I'll take it. Otherwise, I'm keeping it.
