541  Economy / Goods / Silver 1904S Barber Half Dollar on: December 04, 2012, 08:12:32 AM
Hi,
Up for sale is a 1904S Barber Half in VG shape-VG meaning all borders remain and all writing is easily eligible. This coin is worth more than just its melt value. Even in poor condition it is valued at $20. Its melt value is $12.5, if you were curious. Please refer to this page for more details: http://cointrackers.com/coins/13790/1904-barber-half-dollar/

I am asking 1.25 BTC and I think that is a very fair price. I would like to sell this quickly so I can purchase another item on here. Please message me. I'll give you BTC address and you give me mailing address (shipping included).

Thanks!

542  Economy / Goods / ALL SOLD [REDUCED 5%].99 Silver Below Spot (Seriously) INVEST ! on: December 03, 2012, 11:53:42 PM
I am reducing the price of each of these by 5%. I need X-Mas money!
Up for sale are four .99 Silver ingots that I smelted. I melt scrap jewelry (925) and add the appropriate amount of silver shot to achieve .99 purity. Though these bars may not look like one straight from the mint, SILVER IS SILVER. The precious metal value is the same. And here you have an opportunity to buy BELOW spot. Any officially minted piece of bullion is never offered at spot-it is spot plus a surcharge or a percentage.
Spot today is $33.67/oz, and its surpassed $34/oz a few days recently. Here are my prices (consider 12.5/BTC) including shipping anywhere in the US:
1) 0.87 oz ingot: $26.27 = 2.1016 BTC
2) 0.97 ingot: $29.1 = 2.328 BTC
3) 1 oz ingot: $29.50 = 2.36 BTC
4) 1.1 oz ingot: $31.90 = 2.552 BTC

Now, 12.5 is a fair BTC rate. Also, as you can see in the pictures, some of my bars are slightly overweight. I knew I would learn some silver in the melting process, so I compensated with extra shot-thats the reason for that. Silversmithing is truly an art.

Please message me if interested. I am willing to deal if you buy more than one ingot.
543  Other / Off-topic / Post your area of residence? on: December 03, 2012, 09:39:57 AM
I know simple machines is just a generic forum tool. And I know that people can put their location if they want. However, I think most people just never get to that.
I'm just saying it would be nice to have a thread-turned database (minus negative connotation) of the geographic locations of users. This of course should be voluntary. But there are just so many more transactions that can occur locally; something too big to mail, any sort of service, etc. What do you think?
544  Economy / Goods / $5 Dollars on: December 03, 2012, 03:18:05 AM
Screw it, lets try this. You get a nice one of these: for .45BTC, in your mailbox in a few days.
545  Economy / Trading Discussion / Any mobile wallet other than blockchain? on: December 03, 2012, 03:06:17 AM
Hi,
I have an iPhone running the latest OS. I hate blockchain. Is there any mobile alternative? The app store has nothing, but is there a site that caters to mobile wallets?
Thanks
546  Economy / Goods / [SOLD] 1933 Gold Indian Head Coin: EXACT copy - I thought it was real. 0.5 BTC on: December 03, 2012, 01:56:38 AM
Up for sale is an EXACT copy of a 1933 Gold Indian Head coin. A real one (made of gold) is worth over $1,000. My friend gave this to me as a gift. At first I was literally speechless; then he laughed and told me it was a copy. Where he got it, I do not know. It even has a proper patina on it, indicating that its old. Its cold and heavy like gold, too. I am not passing this off as a real gold coin, even though I'm sure I could. I am not advocating that anyone who buys it does the same, but when you buy it, you own it. I am asking just
0.5BTC. That includes expedited shipping anywhere in the US.

The first picture is what the real coin looks like. The second and third are my coin, obverse and reverse. They truly are indistinguishable.

547  Economy / Goods / [SOLD] SEALED 1963 Proof Set(Silver, last Franklin Half)w/envelope=2.5 BTC on: December 02, 2012, 10:22:53 AM
ITEM SOLD
Hey everybody,
I have a 1963 Proof Set from the Philadelphia Mint. The Half Dollar, Quarter, and Dime are 90% Silver. It is still sealed in its original packaging-these babies haven't seen the light of day since 1963. I also have the envelope as well as information card from the mint. Although,  they are very slightly damaged due to old age and whatever else (note in pictures).
What makes this Proof Set different from any other year is that it (1963) is the last year the Benjamin Franklin Half Dollar was issued. After that and to the present day it is Kennedy on the Half Dollar. I bought this a while back from a guy who sold Mint Sets-that was his thing. He didn't know much about dates, so I bought this one for the same price as any pre-'65 (90% Silver) set (Yeah, Buddy!)
What I STRONGLY recommend is that you send the Half-Dollar to be Certified. It is in literally mint condition (maybe that's where the term comes from? haha). Certified its value would soar-its a Proof and its flawless. Any certified coin like this with a high score sells for A LOT more than if the coin was not sent in for certification.
Why don't I just get it certified? It costs money-money I don't have. But hopefully you do, make yourself some money.

I am asking 2.5 BTC for the Set and everything else, mailed to you.

Thanks!

548  Economy / Services / Turn Your Junk Silver into a Stamped Silver Bar! on: December 02, 2012, 10:00:51 AM
Hey everybody,

The price of silver is rising, and its something most Americans have but don't know how to invest/sell it. Silver comes in the form of a lot of things - silverware; especially spoons, fine serving dishes/cups, jewelry, coins and a ton more. To know if something is really silver it MUST have either a "925", or "Sterling Silver", or "Sterling", and in some cases "SS". Also, US coins and foreign coins have historically been minted in Silver. Until 1965, every dime, quarter, half dollar, sometimes dollar coins were made of 90% Silver (note: if you have old coins check to see if they are a key-date before melting!). As far as foreign coins go, I would research online.

Anyways, my service is this: all of that Sterling Silver and Silver coins I can turn into a nice, custom-stamped silver bar for you. You can choose a purity of 90%, 92.5%, or 99%. Higher concentrations are more expensive-I have to add pure silver to achieve purity.

I will charge $5 USD (plus all shipping charges) for each ounce melted down. Weigh your Silver before you send it, you will receive back every last gram.

So, hopefully you let me consolidate your precious metal for you, making it something sell-able or investment-worthy.

Thanks all!!

P.S. I am in the USA
549  Economy / Goods / Vintage St. Pauli Girl Beer Bar Sign/Special Chalkboard [BEST OFFER] on: November 30, 2012, 08:27:52 PM
BTC BEST PRICE (plus base shipping) TAKES IT! BTC
Up for sale I have a vintage St. Pauli Girl Beer Bar Sign. It is about 3'2'' x 1'3''. On the left, it has the St. Pauli Girl who existed early to mid 1900's on a mirrored background. The right of the sign has a chalk board to right bar specials, drink specials, etc. There is a solid wood frame around the entire thing, and the sign is bordered by a beautiful inlayed border that reads:
"GERMANY SENDS YOU HER VERY BEST (bottom) ST. PAULI GIRL BIER-IMPORTED FROM GERMANY"
I have done some research on the sign and its definitely not a reproduction. There's a stamp on the back thats the address for a beer distributing company that existed in NY, NY until the 70's. If I had the space to put this thing I'd be happy to keep it, but my 1 bedroom is not quite big enough/the setting for it. It would go great in any backyard, home bar, game room, etc.

*The base price is 2 Bitcoins. That is just for shipping. Otherwise, please send me a message with your best offer (any offer), and I will consider it. Thanks!*

552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Does Anyone Own the Bitcoin (BTC) Trademark? on: November 28, 2012, 08:47:30 PM
Hey everyone,
I'm seeing a lot of things for sale here in the marketplace with the Bitcoin logo or some kind of Bitcoin reference. Things like money clips, tie clips, physical bitcoins,  shirts, etc. Can anyone go to Cafe Press, make their own Bitcoin shit and sell it? I have to believe SOMEONE owns the copyright to the symbol and all things related. Am I right?
553  Economy / Goods / SILVER BULLION BELOW SPOT: cheapest on BTCtalk! on: November 28, 2012, 04:48:13 AM
Hi,
Odds are you've seen at least one of my postings-I've made a lot of them. I have been trying to invest in BTC for a little while now-since I discovered them. I hate the runaround of having goods, selling them for cash and then buying BTC. And in the process, I lose out because of a bunch of stupid fees. That's why I was so excited to find this site and why I've made so many listings. No BS-you get paid in BTC and the buyer gets their goods. In addition to the no BS, no fees stuff I like the free-market aspect of this all.
Anyways, what I'd been doing for a while is collecting scrap silver (all Sterling-jewelry, silverware). Recently I bought all the equipment I need to melt it down. I tried to build a mold out of wood, but had issues pouring and no matter how many times I tried I couldn't get that perfect box shape. So, I just used the crucible as the mold, and the bigger piece, since it is composed  of more silver, is a pretty professional (if I may say so) looking round. The second piece is somewhat round (I did my best)-but its still Silver! When t comes to investing in Silver and buying bullion (that isn't specialty), no one cares what shape the piece is-they're going to melt it down anyway.
I have ordered metal stamps, silver shot (so I can make .999 pure bullion if I want), and found the perfect mold-small wooden boxes they sell at the craft store.

Because of my amature status, I'm offering a deal on these first two pieces I've made. They are 92.5% pure (all sterling). And I am charging $30/oz for PURE silver (doing the math on the .925). Below are the prices.

1.779 x .925 = 1.646 Ounces of PURE Silver @$30/oz = $49.38
.721 x .925 = .67 Ounces of PURE Silver @ $30/oz = $20.10

Also, I am willing to discount further because we are dealing in BTC here, and that saves me a lot of trouble.
So, posted and in your mailbox (anywhere in US), I am charging
4.09 BTC for the 1.646 Piece and
1.6 BTC for the .67 Piece

Lookout for a lot more silver listings from me in the future. I have more scrap, and depending on demand will make .999 Stamped Silver Bullion by the ounce or any weight you'd like. I will always sell AT MOST spot price/oz.

Thanks and message me if interested! I post quickly; you'll have your item in a couple days!

555  Economy / Goods / Havana Club Rum from Cuba! The Caribbean's Best Rum-Outlawed in US: 2 Kinds! on: November 27, 2012, 05:49:19 AM
Hi everyone,
Up for sale are 2 bottles of Havana Club Rum from Cuba. As most people know, the United States has had in effect since the '60's an embargo with Cuba, meaning we can't buy or sell any of their goods. However this is a tragedy, as the island nation has produced the finest rum, tobacco, etc for hundreds of years. Why should we be denied these pleasures because of Cold War politics?
I have 2 bottles.
1) Havana Club Blanco - The State's base rum. Commonly sipped, occasionally mixed.
2) Havana Club Anejo de 3 Anos - Their Finest Rum aged for 3 years. ALWAYS sip-don't mix this one.
I am asking 4.2 BTC for the first bottle, shipped anywhere inside the US (this things heavy!)
I am asking 5.1 BTC for the second bottle, also shipped anywhere inside the US.
These would make great Christmas presents for anyone who likes alcohol (everyone).
Also, if a demand exists for other products of Cuban origin please let me know, I may be able to help you out.

Thanks!

*Second Bottle (3 Anos) Sold*
556  Economy / Goods / US Civil War Union Coins [Pictures!] on: November 26, 2012, 10:19:52 AM
Hi,
I recently came across these. I researched and made because the country didn't know what the fate of their country was going to be. If Confederates won, Union money isn't worth anything and vice-versa. Anyways, they go for about $50/ea on Amazon. Though some may be more rare than others. Hopefully someone's interested.
Thanks!

557  Economy / Goods / Silver Coin Collectors: RARE and VALUABLE US and International coins on: November 23, 2012, 09:36:47 AM
Hi,
First of all, I have a supply of Kennedy Halves I want to sell as bullion Please see my other post for that.
BUT of much greater value than the bullion, I have a vast collection of rare and historic US, and some international, coins. 99% of them are silver-I never liked collecting non-silver coins. I'm heading to bed but tomorrow I will put up a list of what I have and corresponding prices-which will definitely be cheaper than eBay or any where else you would obtain them. Please post if interested, this will motivate me to put up everything, pictures and all.
Thank you!

So, if you're a collector we can bargain too. My supply is limited, so please let me know.
Thanks!
