..
n the above case - I also think the same, the moderator does not send a notification to the author of the thread whose post has been edited. The reason for the edit can vary - such as removing a referral link in the thread or other links instead of deleting the thread.
Yeah, it might be, but for referral links, instead of mods editing it, it will  be probably deleted.

...
I'm not sure what was edited from that post - you can compare it to the archived post by ninjastic. I can't find anything different - both posts are exactly the same with no edit history.

Ninjastic.space archive starts late 2020, the post you mentioned posted earlier, year 2019. Any earlier posts before the bot creation will be saved as it is.

I wonder if users get a notification that their posts were edited by a moderator just like a personal message notification when posts were deleted by a mod.
I have reported many posting violations so far from many different users - such as multiple posts in the same thread. In these cases - when moderators deal with it, they always leave a note written in red at the end of the post like "this post has been merged by mod xxx"..
Merging posts are okay, as it only "merging" multiple posts in a single post. But the one on the thread mentioned by hosseinimr93 is different, there's no note for merging posts, the mod just edited the post for some reason.
3  Other / Meta / Re: How obnoxious are moderators who modify posts just because they can? on: Today at 09:58:59 AM
AFAIK only admins can edit post, not moderators, mods can merge posts and can leave note, nothing more than that.
Moderators can edit the posts.
I remember frodocooper edited many posts on mining board when he was a moderator.
Click here to see an example of posts being edited by moderators.
Oh, so it's possible. That's a bit insane of moderation based on that thread IMO. I wonder if users get a notification that their posts were edited by a moderator just like a personal message notification when posts were deleted by a mod. Looking at his profile looks like he is not a moderator anymore, idk if its about inactivity since some inactive mods are still mods or its about his way of moderation. I wonder.

Masyado lang ata busy sa pag manage ng mga projects niya this includes social media page/s at websites niya. Bumubisita lang ata dito to check or what, wala nga lang posts since August pa last posts niya.

I'm just saying bakit pa siya mag sasayang ng oras sa pag popost kung pwede naman na siyang gumawa ng sariling projects.
Hindi pag sasayang ang pag post dito when it comes a user na tulad niya where he can earn more kesa sa 80% ng mga users dito.
5  Other / Meta / Re: The forum search isn't responding. on: Today at 12:27:48 AM
It didn't work for me, it showed error "This page isn’t working
search-beta.ninjastic.space is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 502"
Oh, i didn't know that, maybe the beta version was taken down to implement the features in the beta to the live one — https://ninjastic.space/search, check there instead on the beta version.
6  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Paano pataasin ang activity natin? on: Today at 12:23:16 AM

Regardless, isa sa mga goal ko talaga is to give merit (at least 1) on every thread made dito sa local lalo na yung nasa top and active, mapapansin niyo yan if you checked every thread, it's to encourage everyone na gumawa ng thread/topics to make the local active ulit.

Use Tryninja's ninjastic.space instead, forum search is problematic and it take huge forum's resources thus it takes too long to respond then fade away.

Here's the new beta search of ninjastic.space that might help you.

AFAIK only admins can edit post, not moderators, mods can merge posts and can leave note, nothing more than that.

Your deleted posts have so many reasons, you should re-read the forum rules to avoid future deletions of your posts and stop posting multiple posts in a row.

While bitcoin isn't cheap last time I send my salary is around 1$ so yeah
Agreed much of most of you said about the other chains which is the most used for transferring due to lower fees. About bitcoin, i just spent 20 cents for a fee of 3 sat/vB, it's been more than a month already, not less but not that much of a fee also.
11  Other / Meta / Re: Why reveal my email for spam report. on: September 19, 2024, 01:41:36 AM
Am I going to be receiving emails from a moderator as a follow up for a report I made?
No, you are not. There is no mentioned that you will receive an email from them, isn't it? You will be PM'ed maybe.

I think the report system should be simple and if possible automated in order not to discourage anyone from reporting obvious spams. What's the essence of revealing my email?
All report system required the reporter to know who are they, it's simple. The current report system never discourage users to report, there are already ten of thousands reports came from a single user, and thousands from others.
12  Local / Pamilihan / Re: gusto nyo maka tipid sa kuryente? on: September 18, 2024, 11:59:18 PM
meron bang lower price dito? since hybrid naman pang mid using lang?

and yong free installation applied nationwide ba?
OP is cebu based, offering free installation sa ibang lugar sa bansa cost so much transportation, food, etc. so i guess it's not an option.

Also assumption na uma accept ang OP for lowest price per panel cost +40k plus yung ibang materials pa, so yeah may pagkamahal talaga pag solar materials and installations.
13  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Intrek Project on: September 18, 2024, 11:40:11 PM
My apologies I wasn't clear.

The website is intrexproject.com

Does this look legit ? They say payment option sent via Western Union from agents who have gmail ? Feels odd.
Oh, it's an exchange with forex, and investment type, but the looks of it, it looks like those website themes and format used by scammers, so no. Regardless where did you found it, and who refer it to you, it's obviously made for scam. It's created for a year already (at least for its domain) yet you can't see any decent reviews of the site.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: September 18, 2024, 11:34:30 PM
In order to avoid of this, the gamblers can use the other coins like Ethereum,BNB and tron.So the transaction fee issue will be resolved.
Who still uses ethereum related tokens (erc20) to avoid higher fee and congestion? I guess you are in the wrong way, it's a suicide, nothing's gonna happen good using such tokens unless you want to try and try again after fail transactions. Even now, ethereum blockchain has over 100k pending transactions.

16  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: If You Became a Campaign Manager, How Would You Make a Difference? on: September 18, 2024, 01:20:46 AM
If you ever got the chance to manage a campaign, what would you do to keep the forum a good place? A lot of us start as posters, join campaigns and stuff, but some might end up becoming managers at some point, right?
"No one is above the law/rules" apply it on any campaign you will manage in the future. Choose participants who will likely follow forum rules and will not cause any kind of damages by checking their posts, activity (response, behaviour, principles, etc), contributions, reputations, etc. (there is lots to mention)

Pinaka malaki kong nakita sa kanya 300 bet/pin tapus 32k panalo total, from free spins at scatter.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What most beginners don't get about Bitcoin on: September 16, 2024, 11:58:33 PM
I still remember DT talking about Bitcoin in Twitter when he wasn't giving a s*** for it some years ago when he got elected. And now he wants to create a reserve, yes, that's where we are now. Perhaps he had not yet accumulated enough at that time.

Some candidates can boost adoption while some others slow it down, but I am of your same opinion when you say that it matters little in general as to its future.
That is called development, it changes over time the moment it flip the tides, often when people fully understand it. Regardless for politicians, i will call them "turncoat", just to get votes of the majority using it, they will do it for their own interest, unless you see a strong political will to them.
19  Economy / Reputation / Re: Has this forum lose its value? on: September 15, 2024, 06:06:43 PM
I wouldn't want to push more further but I am utterly touched to see that people come openly to advertise account selling. I am like, is this something that isn't originating from here? And what measures are the admin or mods doing to put this off from regularly repeating itself.
If you will learn how many bitcointalk accounts were being sold before that there is a website[1] built by a mod/staff to calculate how much a bitcointalk account or its potential by calculating the rank, posts, trusts. I guess you will burst of outrage.

Until some people (mainly from DT members) discourage it and a new system was created in mind and people here give tags for account sellers then this account selling stops gradually.
I remember some members having multiple accounts were hunted like literally multiple idk if its was 10-30 or something owned by a single user. You will really wonder how that person can manage those accounts as most of them are in signature/bounty campaigns. That's how account cheating hunters grows, some become witch hunting randomly with slight evidence, some innocently involved and tagged, even giving rewards to cheaters[2]

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used as proof of funds during visa application in your country? on: September 15, 2024, 04:44:14 PM
...
The embassy is insisting that although Bitcoin is legal in the country, they cannot accept it as proof of funds. The guy is a little bit frustrated because he is been forced to sell his coin prematurely in other to present the amount they are requesting....
No country do it yet, even on El Salvador, well, i guess so, i see no articles talking about this, i would love to read it if there is. More on traditional forms of funds only such as bank account statements or credit card balances.

As for your friend, it's a real bummer, he or she should ask first on any the visa office first before doing such stuff, s/he would have save time if that's what s/he did.
