561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is very good for newbie on: April 23, 2018, 01:42:41 PM
Bounty programs are good not only for beginners. Of course, in the initial stages, participation in the bounty helps to understand the general logic of the market. In any case, the bounty helps to collect information about the project in the early stages of launching and make a decision about investing for example.
Yes! Certainly! It would help beginners to little by little understand and get information about cryptocurrency. It serves as the framework to help build the foundation of their learning, knowledge in trading, investment, savings, stocks and bonds, market movement, and more and most specially retain the disposition firm and high in terms of facing difficulties and uncertainties.
562  Other / Archival / Re: Help a Beginner to understand... on: April 23, 2018, 01:19:07 PM
Hello guys...

I have diversified my portfolio to about 25 different cryptos which were worth about 7000-8000$ just before the bitcoin crash came and I am wondering whats the exact reason behind this, when or will it recover (and so the alt coins I hold, don't have any bitcoin).

Why do almost all alt coins crash because of the bitcoin crash or correction?

My portfolio is worth only 4000$ atm.

Sorry for being an beginning idiot and asking this and thanks for everybody who can explain it to me

Cryptocurrecny is very unpredictable we never know what happen in every hour or a day but one thing i will suggest to you is to hodl your bitcoin until you reach your target price or atleast you get what price you wants. Ups and down is a normal in crypto.
This must be taught to a person who is newcomer to this field. This is really bad to see such people coming from different backgrounds and jumping the practical field without getting proper knowledge. That is why such scenarios are there to be seen where people are just getting panicked and selling all what they have for such low prices because they think this is the end.
Beginners have to be well-informed about crypto, and as bitcoiners e can be an instrument to help these people. But first we have to test their willingness and passion to check if they can survive the challenge. It very important to introduce the advantages and disadvantages, its risks and how to manage patiently, giving tips and pieces of advice. Significantly, they also have to help themselves and be able to build their positivity, patience, and determination to succeed.
563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Virtues of the Great HODL on: April 22, 2018, 06:22:36 PM
In my eyes there comes a certain point where you have to HODL, when your portfolio is down so much that there is no chance that you're going to cut your losses now and lose out on a potentially high amount of profits if you are to stay in the game. The big thing a lot of people miss in crypto is that we have always bounced back (based on our past performance) So there is data to show that we have recovered from these sorts of losses and are going to do it again.

I'm going to HODL, who knows what the others do.
If patience is a virtue, same thing goes with HODLing. It's never easy, but it's the ticket for brighter future. In a digital era where BTC and other cryptocurrencies has evolved rapidly and the price volume drastically changed from time to time causing it to plunge and at the same time very unpredictable, I believe right attitude can have a big impact to face this kind of challenge to gain quality and excellent outcome.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My bounty experience! on: April 22, 2018, 05:58:17 PM
Your result is great. I think your profit will be more large, when market start to grow. Bounty is a good way to invest crypro if you wouldn't to risky or haven't plenty of money. I try to take part of any inteserting bounty if i have some free time.
My bounty experience was excellent, it was really profitable and fun. I got to earn at my own comfort and I'm the one controlling my time. Not only these, it really makes a difference in my life and my loved ones. It taught me about life and how to be persistent, patient, and work hard for my goals. I devoted myself to bounty like doing so much research, reading articles, downloading related apps and videos, and a lot more to help broaden my knowledge, and it's not really easy but the perseverance and values it taught me has been engraved in my heart and will live forever. My bounty journey has not ended yet, but it made me realize that what we believe in heart will truly happen in life.
565  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't lose your faith in BTC. on: April 22, 2018, 05:17:44 PM
It's always a challenge for us whenever bitcoin's market price plunges. It's gonna be a test of faith whether we will be shaken and panic sell our bitcoin or just hodl around while the price is low. If you will not lose your faith in btc, of course, you will rejoice in the end.
Yeah, if you don't have faith in BTC, you cannot succeed in getting profit and only those who lose faith in bitcoin sell it out of panic and always bear a heavy loss instead of getting profit as a consequence of it. Only patience is the key by which you can go forward in the market. So you must not lose your confidence in it as it will definitely provide you the aspired results...
It takes a gallant heart and strong mind to face your fears and achieve success. Market condition is not always on our preference- due to its volatility, but positive and patient response to this situation can greatly help overpower emotional distress and tension. If you have faith, there is righteousness, then nothing will be impossible. Believe, trust and keep the faith firm.
566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you encourage friends and family to invest in crypto? on: April 22, 2018, 04:33:50 PM
It is not advisable for me to encourage any friend or family to invest in cryptocurrency unless they are already well-inform on the possible risks that associated  in crypto investment. Before encouraging them, try to educate them first until they fully understood what cryptocurrency is all about.
I agree! Encouraging them about crypto investment is a nice move to make them feel aware of its essence and be able to taste the sweet of success- if they are interested to join but guess it does not end there. It has to go deeper. We have to be responsible in nurturing them with the knowledge, skills and the expectations. The main advantages and disadvantages, the risks it brings and on how to manage them. Proper education and setting up proper expectations must be highlighted carefully and patiently, for them to have a full grasp of understanding of what it is, how does it work, how beneficial it is and more. At the end, they still have to be the one to make the decision, but at least I have done my part to help them.
567  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: has trading become difficult? on: April 22, 2018, 11:59:15 AM
For me, yes. I'm switching to longer term trades now, but I can't tell yet that it is better than shot term trades. just a tip, be versatile.
I am with you in your this decision. There is no need to burden yourself with unnecessary work and worries. If day trading or short term trading is not working well for you, you must switch to other options. Long term trading guarantees the profits due to its simplicity and easiness. But it is still tougher than simple holding. This will also help you in increasing your knowledge related to trading and asset.

Definitely, I get your drift guys. We’d better not too worry too much it , we should choose another option which can help us to good way. But honestly, trading is always a job which is most likely  hard  for us to get benefit with flying color.  It’s completely not important that trading for long or short time will help you get profit. It depends on how you trading whether you have a good stragety in trading.
Trading is hard but we should always think that it's possible to succeed in trading.
Nothing is impossible and because it's hard to succeed you are guaranteed that when you succeed you will make better reward.
People are really looking to improve themselves because they believe they can be financially free once they succeed in trading.
Trading has become popular across the globe, but the road to success is not easy. It brings risks and one wrong move can totally affect the amount of capital and beyond. However, developing your knowledge about trading, and backed up by hardwork, effort, and dealing with the trial and error are crucial components of overcoming the risk and fear. Take it easy, worrying too much can lead to unproductivity. Take a look at its advantages, the rate of high returns it brings, the acquisition of assets and dividend yield. If you think success, it can truly happen and it makes you unstoppable to attain your purpose.
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get fast rich in crypto world. on: April 22, 2018, 11:27:19 AM
To get fast rich you need to have luck. Simply all you need is to be on the right spot at the right time with a lot of money in your pocket so you can 2x,3x,4x...But that works for 1% od people, other 99% have small but consistent progress.
There's no easy way to get rich faster in cryptocurrency, even though it's somehow considered as easy money. It does not happen quickly and fastly. To be rich and abundant you have to be consistent with your effort, goal, and time. Have a specifically goal, make a plan, love and embrace what you do and believe its importance, spend your time and money wisely, don't be afraid to fail, lastly but not the least important, live not only for yourself but for others. Being rich is about loving what you do and what's right. Be happy.
569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait for bitcoin to grow? on: April 22, 2018, 11:04:47 AM
Everyone around me says, " sell all your tokens before bitcoin dies." Please tell me how to do?

I think it's better to hold the bitcoin and wait until bitcoin prices go up again because I think bitcoin still has the potential to make price recovery and become a very expensive coin.

Also many people have bought bitcoin over 10,000$ or even 15,000$ so there is no point for anyone of them to sell at a loss. For those who have bought in cheap like 6000$ Range, should also keep save their bitcoins as the prices have started to recover and we shall see very good movement in volume in next 2 to 3 months.
I truly agree! It's a matter of having an eye on the price, market condition, and more factors to consider. Waiting can be boring, but if you know it can give you huge returns then the more it makes exciting and surprising. Buy as much as you can while the value drops, hold, and wait until it soars again. It's a game, you may win or lose, but if you learn how to play the game strategically, you'll be headed to the right path. This journey is not easy, learn to stabilize more on your emotional and mental aspects and be ready for the possibilities and don't ever panic. 570  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to sell? on: April 21, 2018, 05:41:05 AM
the best time is when the price is high or for me if it covers several times the cost of buying bitcoin then I think that this time is good for sale
Supply and demand are the determining factors of bitcoin price. When the demand is high and supply is low, the I think it's the perfect time to sell and play the monopoly. Take the opportunity to buy as much as you can and hold, wait for the perfect and best time then sell.
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as new hope for humanity on: April 21, 2018, 04:39:33 AM
Bitcoin is not just a life saver but also a life changer. Before, I don't know anything about investment. I'm just a minimum wage earner and my salary is most of the time insufficient to my needs. My family is struggling financially. When Bitcoin was introduced to my life, everything changed. At first, I invested a very little portion of my salary to HYIP and gambling hoping that my life will change instantly as what those sites promised me but I was scammed multiple times. It was devastating so I decided to stop investing on Bitcoin. After a few months, I saw some posts on social media on how Bitcoin changed a person's life so I decided to give it another try but this time, I will make sure to invest in myself first and study more about cryptocurrency. I learned about this forum and from here, I learned more things about Bitcoin specially on trading and investments. Now, I cannot say that I'm completely financially free but I can say that I'm already earning more than enough for me and my family's needs.

Bitcoin gave me another hope about life. There are times when we are feeling wasted and wants to give up but before you give up, ask your self first if you already did your best. There are times that we will definiyely lose and people will ruin our dreams but that is not a reason to stop. Just like on my experience, I got scammed but after a few months, I gabe it another shot. If I gave up, I might still ne struggling financially.

Life will definitely throw you lemons. All we need to do is learn how to make it into lemonade. I'm very thankful to Bitcoin. To all investors out there, just invest on your self first and I assure you, you'll get profit from it!
Yes,  bitcoin definitely is a life changer.  I am a normal student who is in a poor economic status because my parents are not college graduate.  My father is a minimum wage earner and sometimes his salary is not enough for our needs.  But bitcoin must be the way and I am surely is.  It will raise up our way of living. Amazingly,  people around would be surprised that I will earn a lot of money even though I am just a student.
Bitcoin does not only provide greater opportunities for those who seriously trust it, but a new hope for those who are despondent. It makes earning convenient and a challenging yet exciting investment. Digital era has evolved enormously and Bitcoin brings well-being across the world for those who accept it. What is important is on how we truly appreciate and embrace its characteristics, so we can truly feel the blessing it offers to us, to humanity.
572  Economy / Economics / Re: when you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump! on: April 20, 2018, 08:21:28 PM
I agree and that maybe one of the reasons why some would create fake news or fuds so people who have just joined in will sell their coins out of panic thus leading to the contribution of making the market more red and bearish. I have observed quite a few times that most of these panic sellers are newbies, that don't have that much knowledge about the coin they are holding and just joined in this forum or trading because they have "heard" bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies from a friend or something like that.
I guess it does not need to be in hurry, it needs creative thinking when, why, and how to sell. Panic won't lead to productivity, it would only add correction to the market condition and rapid volume of dump will occur. A technical analysis, acquiring helpful information and understanding its features and qualities would create a positive and hopeful outcome because you already know what, when and how to properly respond and manage this dump if it would ever happen.
573  Economy / Economics / Re: Earnings without risks for beginners on: April 20, 2018, 07:12:28 AM
a good way for beginners to earn without risk is generosity campaigns there you just spend a little of your time, and investments are always accompanied by risk

If a newbie has a good friend who knows a lot about cryptocurrencies and who can support him, why not to risk, listen to his advice and make the first investment?
This is a bad idea and the reason is this, even if your friend is able to give you a good advise that makes you money you will become dependent on him and when it comes to cryptocurrencies you need to trust in your own reasoning, you can ask for the opinions of others but at the end you are the one that needs to make the decision and to not rely on someone else.
I think there's no such thing as zero-risk. It has always been part of the ride and no beginners or experts are exempted from it. But we can maximize its impact if we let awareness and understanding of its nature be our priority.
Exactly! Earning is a no easy way, though there has been called quick money but it still needs constant effort to gain it. All investment and earnings carry some degrees of risks. Risks can't be eliminated but learning about asset allocation and diversification can somehow give you knowledge how to manage risks.
574  Economy / Economics / Re: The lack of financial education on: April 20, 2018, 06:47:32 AM
The stupidity of people today. in financial terms they can not manage because of their negligence. they become careless. a lot of money does not mean success. but financial strategy is the main thing
Financial literacy is very important. It allows people to make informed and effective decisions. Having the lack of skills and knowledge can lead to huge loss of assets and failures to face having no abstract awareness of what it is.   It's a big deal and one must need more education to address this.
575  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think that bitcoin can reduce corruption? on: April 19, 2018, 04:06:58 AM
Now that governments have a competitor in terms of currencies, do you think that they will make an effort to make the economic system more transparent or will they just try to ban everything?

I hope so because the bitcoins habe no one source so in that case there is no one person that can be too greedy about that money but the thing ia the corruption depends upon the person behind it because anyone can be a start of corruption if he or she becomes greedy about the money that they are getting and we cannot escape corruption it is everywhere as long as there are a person as long as they are not we are not satisfied in the benefits that we are getting
A lot of factors that can be considered the cause of corruption. It can be due to personal interests and greed with no regards to moral boundaries, has no sense of service, lack of courage, transparency and a lot more. Bitcoin is not controlled by any single network, which means transparency is present and it fights against money laundering. Its blockchain technology is what makes it stand out. Instead of data being stored in central server, it is simultaneously stored on nodes where it communicates with the others to record and verify each transaction. Notwithstanding, let's be responsible and be sincere to what we do and say, it still the right attitude that counts.
576  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How do you keep your mnemonic phrases? on: April 19, 2018, 03:25:44 AM
But how you will identify it if you are about to retrieve the wallet? You have to put some hint of doing this. This came to my mind but I'm very easy to forget and my memory doesn't works well now.
The "story" part gave me an idea. Maybe it can be encrypted into a poem that can be then memorized. Would be longer but seems easier to memorize than a random sequence of words. Thanks for the suggestion.
Wooah I remember someone suggested and created this type of encryption to his private key. Making a story with the use of your private keys will give confusion if someone accidentally sees your PK's. Thanks for reminding me about this type of sequence and the story thing.  This is familiar to me and it's a good way to protect it that way, you don't have to memorize it you only need some hints on what are the most important words.
Mnemonic is an unencrypted private key. If it's discover by unauthorized parties, then they can have complete access to it. The following are the key points to remember.

1. Back up mnemonic immediately, when you create a wallet in imToken
2. Copy mnemonic on a piece of paper, don't use screenshots.
3. Ensure the mnemonic is correct, you can check out by Myetherwallet.
4. Keep your mnemonic safe when you save it.

Anyone who discovers the phrase can steal the bitcoins, so it must be kept safe like cash. Never type it on a website.
577  Economy / Speculation / Re: Future of crypto ? on: April 18, 2018, 04:22:13 PM
I am sure everyone over here are aware of current situation of crypto world and some have already speculated this to be the end of crypto era and says that's the reason for the dump in value of all the crypto coin ? But I think there were not much altcoins in the past and progress of bitcoin decided the value of altcoins as they pump when bitcoin pumps and dumps when bitcoin goes through a dump and I feel these market situation are temporary and bitcoin will soon be back to normal so as other altcoins.

So if you or anyone else says that this is the end of crypto era. Let me ask you few questions.
1. What era will start now then?
2. You truly believe we lived in crypto era? when it started in your opinion?

Crypto is currently so insignificant that when it will be 1000 times more important as is now, might be close to be so influential to count as a world era!!!!!
I agree with this, cryptocurrencies needs to get a lot bigger before we can say that something like an era has started, this is why I have always thought that even the people that have adopted bitcoin very recently are still part of the early adopters, not even 1% of the population uses bitcoin and until we get that percentage up bitcoin will still be very small compared to the rest of the economy.
We are living in digital world and cryptocurrency is also digital, therefore I can say that we are living in crypto era. The future is that of cryptocurrency. The reason is that the world is turning toward digital and electronic world, so it is clear that in the future all the people will use only digital currency. It is good because the whole world will use one currency and no single country would control it.
Crypto has evolved tremendously as it continues to influence people's lives in bringing quality of life and opportunities. It has so much potential and advantages that makes it paved the way and creates a large lead than other cryptocurrencies. With these some of its excellence qualities, no wonder it can have a brighter and phenomenal future.
578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term vs. short term investing on: April 18, 2018, 02:27:48 PM
It is reasonable to have different investment. How long and short. At the same time need to develop their investments in coins.
we can really make big profit on both but i guess i must go to long term investment in holding know why because i think it for the future when you hold in long term, but you can do both and you can really earn money on both so i guess for you to develop things you should learn things first.
Long-term investment is the one that you plan to hold for more than a year or several years-to be exact, whereas short-term investment is when you hold it for a year or less. It totally differs in terms of expectations, satisfying different goals, and carrying different risks. But if you just let yourself be aware, and familiarize its nature then I guess the risk and frustration will be minimized and alleviated.
579  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How important technical indicators are in cryptocurrencies volatile market? on: April 18, 2018, 06:37:25 AM
What are your thoughts on the technical indicators and their utility in such a volatile market of cryptocurrencies. ( open to discussion )
The utility of those indicators is high but is not everything you need to keep your eyes on the news as well also those indicators are very useful in a coin like bitcoin and other coins like that but if you're expecting that such indicators are going to work in very small coins then your mistaken, in fact that is one of the first things that you learn when you are trading.
It is important specially in the volatile market of cryptocurrency, because it would serve as a guide to what's coming next, the status of market movement, market condition for the supply and demand, and some other factors. But I think relying on it dependently is not a good thing after all. What's most important is your technical analysis and trading strategy. Feed yourself with the knowledge in trading and investment, and be guided consequently.
580  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin price continue to go down? on: April 18, 2018, 06:17:59 AM
This could be as a result of correction, however, I suggest that you hold your bitcoin for now. The supply and demand in the market is not good. As we can see the graph of the bitcoin it will high and low but for sure it will rise up. If not next month maybe in the succeeding month. Don't get panic.  Continue to hold you bitcoin  until such time bitcoin  price will rise up.
In fact it can only be a temporary decrease in bitcoin price and hope that we will see the bitcoin price ones again trading in high level. In fact still there is too much potential and therefore we can expect that bitcoin price will continue increasing and very soon we will see the price trading above 20000$ very soon, I think that those people who will not invest money in bitcoin in current time will surely regret for his decision.
It may drop at times but I guess it's not gonna stick longer on that position. It just so happen that it drops for now due to market movements, media influence, government regulations, and some other issues but I believe there's nothing to worry much about, because the more it's gonna hinder us from doing things progressively. Always trust its potential, never lose faith and hope. We all can rise from fall, never quit.
