1  Other / Meta / Re: appeal on: August 21, 2018, 07:12:57 AM
Dear administrators. Forgive me for the fact that I did repeated messages. I honestly did not read the rules. And I want to give me a chance!

If your block or something maybe try to send an email because it is the proper way to appeal not by posting here. It is your fault by not reading rules, it is always essential when you join any forum. If you dont know how to read rules how are you going to contribute here in bct?
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has 54% of the cryptocurrency market on: August 21, 2018, 05:01:04 AM
For those of you that think that Bitcoin is going down this article proves that it's still the strongest in the cryptocurrency world. Not since December 2017 has Bitcoin been such a dominant part of cryptocurrency.

Full article here:

54% bitcoin dominance to other cryptocurrency can still be called huge. Even though it drops significantly we still cant deny the fact that 54% is still a large number for cryptocurrency, and i think that bitcoin dominance will not go below 50% that is for sure especially eth right now is decline to the point it is hard for it to reach 300usd.

Bitcoin is now replacing weak altcoins and many investors are transferring their assets to bitcoin.

Nah, technically if the bitcoin dominance is getting low it means many people transferred in Alts, also it means that bitcoin's price is getting low while the others is getting high. If the price of bitcoin will pump then bitcoin dominance will also increase, and vice versa.
3  Other / Meta / Re: "Guide" subforum on: August 20, 2018, 11:42:08 AM
There should be an childboard for How-to-Guides in the forum because most of them are really useful. It is unfortunate that some of them are buried with tons of threads here in the forum.

I've created [GUIDES] on Bitcointalk. Index thread today. I hope it can be replaced by a subforum, but until that happens, it serves as a reference of threads that fit the new subforum.

Good thing that you acted first. I'll bookmarked your thread so that if I see a knowledgeable guide i can notify you fast since your thread might be buried here, unless if it will be pin here in Meta.

5  Other / Meta / Re: What should be included in a newbie welcome message? on: August 19, 2018, 06:24:22 PM

How many accounts are you allowed to have here:

About tree fiddy
As many as you like

Are referral links permitted:

Only in certain boards

Maybe we can have one to weed out social justice warriors and special snowflakes:

This should be the opening message for the newly created account lol.  Grin
I think that 80-90% of newly created account are only alt account used for farming bounties.

Anyway I'd suggest that the opening message should contain links to informative guide as well as rules. And should also include a warning that CRYPTO HAS ALOT OF SCAMMER/HACKER they should protect themselves at all time.

but the search function here is shit though.
Agreed! The search function should be replaced by Google search IMO. It performs way better than the default one.
So true, +1 to the suggestion that it should be replaced by google. Because there are a lot of threads and words now in the database thus the default search system is not working accurately.
6  Local / Pilipinas / Re: It's a bear market. Are you ready to go full time? Ano ang magandang gawin? on: August 19, 2018, 05:53:57 PM
So,ano kabayan ready ka bang iwan ang trabaho mo ngayong BEAR MARKET?😊

For me, kahit kelan hindi dumating sa isip ko na mag full time sa trading or sa crypto. Kasi alam natin na volatile pa ang crypto it will drop or pump without any notice, so pano nalang pag kinalangan mo ng pera sa pang bayad mo ng utilities and other monthly fees and by that time drop pa ang market, diba mang hihinayang ka mag benta?

This is why we still need a stable job para may fiat tayo na pang bayad ng mga necessities.
Pero no doubt the best time to invest to crypto is during Bear Market kasi lahat cheap ang price and may chance pa ito lumaki sa future.

Exactly! this is the main point. Di pwedeng crypto lang you still need source of fiat money.
7  Other / Meta / Re: I wish there was somewhere to discuss new crypto projects. on: August 19, 2018, 01:51:08 PM
Thanks guys. It's a long time since I visited project development, and it looks as if that's the place to go.

It will be interesting to see if we can get some projects going with Bitcoin Talk members.

That would be the right place to post about crypto-making inquiries and talks. Because doing it in altcoin discussion wont get you anywhere, because if you post it there in just a minute your thread will be dump real quick. Anyway looking forward on what you plan to make in the future.
8  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Mag-ambag naman tayo sa ikakalinis ng forum. on: August 18, 2018, 08:48:29 PM
Ginagawa ko din to minsan pero di ako strict na pag one line post report agad, I make sure ung mga nirereport ko totally wala talagang sense ung sinasabi. This is a good way to clean out forum, kahit na di sila na baban atleast na babawasan ung post nila na might conflict their post count during stake giving day. Kaya pag may nakita kayong non sense shit reply wag kayo matakot mag report kasi wala masama mag report.
9  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SUGGESTIONS FOR LOCAL BOARD - [MUST READ] 🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: August 18, 2018, 07:21:26 PM

Nice, now all we need is a response and action from our respected Moderators. Hope to fix all this problem soon.
Don't worry about that, some good members and Mods are planning to get rid of that in Meta by putting a required amount of Merit in order to rank to Jr. Member.

It's all about the local board. For the improvement and more opportunity for the Filipino People. Spreading of merit here in our Board could mean a lot.
As for you bro, ill continue to support you, oras na din para mag ka merit source sa PH kasi pansin ko sa ibang local thread active ang bigayan ng merit sa community nila, dito lang satin hindi ko masyado dama.
10  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [PINOY GUIDE] PAANO MAGMINA NG BITCOIN???? - Building Mining Rigs 🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: August 18, 2018, 02:32:58 PM

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People say altcoins won't survive on: August 18, 2018, 08:44:01 AM
That's what you call noob people in cryptocurrency. This is just a bear market which is always happening in crypto during the time between 2nd to 3rd quarter of the year. Anyway i still believe that in the future crypto will bloom even more further that will lead to success in each and every alts out there.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is superior on: August 13, 2018, 04:38:06 AM
Lately I have realized couple of newbies complain about vulnerability of the market because of the dips
But truth is we seem to have forgotten that

Whereas Bitcoin is the first and largest decentralised digital currency used as a store of value and a means of payment, Ethereum is the largest decentralised application network.

That explains why bitcoin dominance seem unbreachable

Ofcourse bitcoin is the first ever cryptocurrency. Also being backed by huge whales out there bitcoin will never be erased from top 1. Bitcoin is the pillar of cryptocurrency it is the one which has the highest rate of popularity within cryptocurrency.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who controls the crypto market? on: August 12, 2018, 06:01:29 PM
I have been following the crypto scene for the past year and sometimes even though some companies do well their token price drastically goes down and this is the same with btc too. People like john mcafee and roger ver are always talking about how we should get ready for the bullish market but yet the price keeps on decreasing and so i'm asking how and who controls the price. If there is anyone who might be running it?

The market controls the market. When the price is high then you can say that it is demand by the people, many peoply buying it thus it goes it price upwards. however if the price is going down then many people are dumping that coin. but still there are some manipulators in crypto who will start a hype by buying large amount of coins then dumping it once it pumped
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of England warns against Cryptos on: August 12, 2018, 05:30:14 PM

The Bank of England sent a clear warning:

Sam Woods, the Bank of England deputy governor responsible for financial supervision said that “in their short history, crypto-assets have exhibited high price volatility and relative illiquidity.”

Writing in a letter to the chief executives of banks and insurers he said: "Crypto-assets also raise concerns related to misconduct and market integrity – many appear vulnerable to fraud and manipulation, as well as money-laundering and terrorist financing risks.”

Yes it is true we cant deny the fact that crypto has many fraud, manipulation, volatile, and etc etc but still we cant also deny that crypto and blockchain are to be considered good invention in history. We also cant deny the fact that many people instantly turned millionaire by the help of cryptocurrency. Crypto has disadvantages but also it has advantages it is clearly depends on the people on what action they will do here in crypto.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In this bearish market, What do you think is the way out?? on: August 12, 2018, 02:41:39 PM
There have been a gradual fall in the prices of cryptocurrencies although few still try to show a little green on the way, what do you think cryptocurrency traders and enthusiasts should do now to revive the market?

I think during bear market those who have strong will, will only profit during this kind of situation why? Because during bear market we can buy cheap coin then immediately sell it when it recovers up to 10% which is a good earning tho. And repeat its cycle when the price drops again.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcointalk vs moonforum on: August 11, 2018, 05:45:37 PM
hi guys today i come to know about there is another cryptocurrency forum launched called moonforum
i found a bounty thread of MOBU which launched signature campaign for moonforum.

do you thing mf can be an alternate for bitcointalk or bkt will beat it

I think that bitcointalk will still be the best forum for cryptocurrency. Also i think that moonforum's bounty will not be a success like bitcointalk since the number of register and active forum user there is quite low so it will be hard for them to get PR in moonforum.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe that kucoin exchange is legit and not a scam? on: August 11, 2018, 06:06:51 AM
There is a issue that kucoin exchange office in hongkong is not real they said that it is very shady because they said that it has a office and it is not even registered even before. I am doubting kucoin exchange already. What do you think ?

Stop spreading FUD in KuCoin because it is useless, kucoin is now considered legit and trusted here in the community since there are alot of active trader there also the volume there is much better compared to other exchange sites. Im a kucoin user for a long time and i dont still have problem with it.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: August 09, 2018, 04:19:41 PM
They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

No, i dont trust ICO rating sites because they are just paid to make good review even though the project is not good enough. Many people are losing asset because they invest to not so good campaign review by the ICO rating websites.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can i earn 1 bitcoin in one year doing bounty campaigns with my rank ??? on: August 05, 2018, 11:39:37 PM
Hello there..i never took bounty campaign seriously and never given regular work to it...but recently i have lost my day job  Undecided and i have some credit card bills and loans to pay...close to 10k usd...yes i am looking for another day job but i am planning to give enough time to bounty campaigns as well...
I need guidance from experienced bounty hunters that is it possible to earn close to 1 bitcoin in 1 year with my member rank...and how much work per day will it it possible as i am in some trouble in my life with these loans...can bounty prove to be a life saver from me...
1 year 1 bitcoin is it possible ??

yes it is possible, given your rank is low the only thing you can do to earn big is by doing translations campaigns because the participants for translation is very  limited. You can also try doing articles and youtube videos for extra income. Because you cant earn 1 bitcoin on a year if you plan on just doing signature bounty unless you are lucky enough to find a very good campaign.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin dominance is it the END ? on: August 05, 2018, 07:13:16 PM
as we can see the bitcoin dominance is getting lower and lower and  i think on long term ethereum will end the dominance
I dont think ethereum will dominate in the end because as you can see ethereum is going down as well. I think that bitcoin will dominate more in the future. So continue to trust bitcoin but we cant deny the fact that ethereum is still a good coin to invest with.
