For those of you that think that Bitcoin is going down this article proves that it's still the strongest in the cryptocurrency world. Not since December 2017 has Bitcoin been such a dominant part of cryptocurrency.

It is a normal development that Bitcoin is getting stronger in a sustained bear market. Alts are getting destroyed and people flee them in masses. But most don‘t want to leave crypto, so bitcoin is a safe haven for the time being. Just don‘t be fooled and think this is going to stay like that.

As of today bitcoin is still the BEST coin whatever lapses it has. But i think things will change in the future, positively or negatively in terms of bitcoin being the top. But bitcoin has the strongest foundation though.

54% bitcoin dominance is already high, altcoin's price drop is already high, and much of the money in the market translates into BTC.

Whenever the price of Bitcoin drops, the negative parts of Bitcoin always share the news like scam, bubbles, etc. But actually, after the discount, Bitcoin always restores it right afterwards and these components know. loss from the community. If your current thinking is that Bitcoin will grow strongly in the months and years to come, let's all think together and there are certainly quite a lot of people out there for Bitcoin. It will still dominate in the future

Yeah, bitcoin only proves its strong grip on its throne. It is still the king of all cryptocurrencies. Ever since the creation of the cryptoworld, bitcoin dominates the market capitalization. This only means that bitcoin won't die, contrary to the trepidation of many. Bitcoin's haters simply can't discount its use case, and they can't thwart the demand for it. Its value will rise and rise inexorably no matter what. So the game now is it's either you rise with bitcoin or be left by its boat.

this is certainly very good news! but for me personally - I'm not very happy! because the rest of the tokens do not grow in price! due to the drop in the growth of bitcoin, a lot of people have poured their money into bitcoin! Because of the fall, bitcoin dominated!

I would not say that this is a good situation. People sell alts and buy bitcoins. New money did not enter the market. There was a redistribution within the market.

We need to understand how dominance matrix work. It can be good but it can also show signs of unrest in the market. Market cap is likely to go high in both bullish and bearish trend but that means we are losing balance between BTC and ALTs which is not good for overall situation of current market. Right now, both BTC and ALTs have come to a stagnant state after being dumped for about 2 weeks, so this is really good.

54%, thats up from 51.7% in the last 2 weeks, its growing.
I floated a thread recently throwing out the idea of getting rid of useless coins
and trading them into bitcoin even at a loss. I think for a number of months
some people have started focusing more on bitcoin. This and a lot of people
gave been burned by ICO's, bitcoin is somewhat of a reliable haven.

Alts are getting destroyed for a good reason. Most of them are scams, and the others have no real leadership behind them. It's turning into a circus.

After either getting ripped off or hearing about friends being ripped off too many times, people have decided not to waste time on risky shit that is more likely to turn into a ponzi scheme than generate any return at all. Therefore we have bitcoin strength. It will last long because there is absolutely no trust in the altcoins. Bitcoin is much more reliable and everyone knows it.

Bitcoin is now replacing weak altcoins and many investors are transferring their assets to bitcoin. This is positive news for the father of all crypto coins. So we wait for the price to go up.

We are just seeing the benefits of Bitcoin being the market leader, when the whole market is in turmoil what more can we do aside from focusing our funds to the market leader? Yes it is going down (some people offload their cryptocurrency holdings entirely) but a lot of people have transferred their funds to Bitcoin as their safe haven and by the time the market recovers I am pretty sure that they will go back to their own bets.

BTC is proving its use during this tough times and a lot of people are actually taking advantage of it. I myself personally sold all my ETH and XRP in order to buy BTC as I notice both of them is falling much faster than BTC. When the right time comes I'll buyback them at a cheaper price.

That is very true because bitcoin has maintained its dominance over the cryptocurrency market for quite sometime now it still holds more than 50% dominance over the cryptocurrency market.

During bear markets traders tend to hide in BTC and then move back into alts when the bulls return.

So by monitoring the Bitcoin dominance, you can better understand the broader market sentiment.

before the innovation of decentralised applications like ethereal that came up with applications that enabled smart contracts and has through that means populated the blockchain market with loads of projects coming up with their own tokens and thereby reducing the dominance of the bitcoin in the market, bitcoin has been predominant in the cryptocurrency market.

Alts have suffered, just look at Ethereum right now, its below $300 again and might hit $250-$260, while Bitcoin hasn't suffered damage and currently still trading sideways. Yeah, perhaps investors are liquidating their assets and consolidating on Bitcoin. Altcoins bagholders are shifting to bitcoin because they know they will be rekt if they continue to hold shitcoins and coins for pump-and-dump purposes only. The whole game is changing again!!!

You could probably skip XRP, personally I think it's value is limited and I don't see it coming back strong again.
