i do this question because i´ve read in this website issues with bitcoin, slow mining process, high fees, etc. and i´ve read too good reviews of some altcoins, ethereum (smart contracts), ripple (for transfers between banks), dash and nem. these altcoins called 2.0. could bitcoin become just in future virtual gold reserved to companies and rich people?
there is nothing is impossible with crypto currency , maybe someday bitcoin can be rank down to number 2 but that crypto currency has to be really really big for it to be able to persuade the trust of investors to bitcoin It had ranked down to #2 on the coinmarketcap in few days, I remember in that time, the price of Ethereum was at ATH price and its value grow very fast while Bitcoin still around cheap price, not higher than $4,000 as now. yes i agree i think the big possibility that it can be replaced by the another type of coin is always there.it only depend on the market value of the coin if the coin lije bitcoin will going to down in a market and there will be another coin going up.there are a great possibility that it can be replaced by the coin that has a high price and easy to use as well. |

What does being smart means? One can be smart and he can act very strategic, but if the luck is not with him and he's not luck, he can't do anything on crypto market. You should be luck first.
And then you should be able to investigate the market opportunities without getting bored.
Why should you be lucky first? Everything in life takes skill. If someone relies on luck even if they win then it will not be as beneficial as someone who earns with hard work. For me. Its better to be a strategic person because you can do some techniques when you earn here. Yes if you have knowledge in this kind of business you can earn bigger but if youre a strategic person maybe your earnings is bigger than that. For sure being strategic is much better than being smart. But many times there is smartness that you must have to show while sticking to your strategy that will give you more fruit cakes. Plus as you said, if your strategy comes along the good results, that will help you to make good experience and ultimately good profits at the end. uhh so if you're strategic then you are not smart? listen, this smart word is a very vague one as there are many kinds of smartness e.g. academically smart, basically there are people who are good at a specific thing but does pretty bad in another. in my opinion being strategic is one of many kinds of smartness thats why i don't understand why people are bringing walls to show they are different when in fact they are somewhat synonymous. well we our our own way of expressing our points of view but for me smart person is almost the same with the strategic.i think stragy comes from the smart person because smart person will make a lot of solution by making more strategy no need to question about tbere is no doubt that smart person is a strategic person also. |

If you are aiming for a long term investment you can buy it now but if its a day trading apply the rule of buying low and selling high right now cost of bitcoin is too high better yet invest in alternative coins that has a good potential and if bitcoin price go down then buy it. yes i agree for now i think we can stop buying and wait till the price will going down.because it can be more profitable when we buy it in a low price.and sell when its getting high.anyway the dicision is all yours if you believe that bitcoin will continue rising on the next month maybe you can continue buying it today as a preparation of it price rise. |

I usually hold btc though price is currently high I know for sure I can earned profit on btc. I save it for a long term investment. This is the only way for now I can earn btc is to save it.
I also did the same way like you do. You can also wok on bounty campaigns while holding your current coins and it is just depending on how you manage your time. My only goal is to wait till my coins price increase from normal value and that is how i get my profit. I'll make money through bitcoin by applying to the campaign and posting through the forum. Just only give time to work for the campaign, be patience and have determination to do this, yes i agree it is profitable when you joind a campaign and at the same time it is not risky .but there are many ways to make mor profit on bitcoin such as trading and investing.both are risky yet profitable enoughf to gain more profit on .anyway it is all depend on your dicision on how you act on a different kind of situation. |

I agree Bitcoin is not gambling. It may have risk but not like the risk of gambling. For me, Bitcoin is an investment, due to the risk can be mitigated. It does not depend on its internal setup but rather the demand and supply of the market. IT is also affected by speculative minds of people involved in Bitcoin Market so the factor affecting Bitcoin is far from the factor affecting the result of gambling games.

We are all concerns about our bitcoins. I'm just keeping my bitcoin to my online wallet. I save all my bitcoin from that and hold in a few days waiting for the price to get more profit on it. If the price goes up I will cash it out to buy some stuff.
I prefer to keep my bitcoin in blockchain wallet. Till I didn't need it, I'll try to not touch my investment. I'll hold my coin as long as I can still have provided my needs in other way than using it. Well, I hoped that my I couldn't use my coin now. i think the best way to keep bitcoin is to keep on getting it and work for it.so that it well continue to increase .because sometime we need to get bitcoin and convert it into fiat because of an important things to be paid of such us tuition .water and electric billing etc.so then if we only hold bitcoin and didnt gain it every now and then .maybe it well all loose slowly. |

We can hold stable coin but not simple coins. Personally i don't wait for big pump. I sell my coin with a few profit. For this reason, i don't need to wait for getting profit. You can also sell your coin for some good profit. Don't wait for a lot of profit because it can lose your capital.

No man, it doesn't work like that, centralized organizations themselves find it hard to do so and bitcoin being decentralized will hardly make it to the major league as most people use bitcoin for only getting profits and not for contributing to the welfare of the society . Bitcoin contributes a minor percentage in the world economy, and centralized organizations will never let bitcoin to replace them.
In future economy will be dependent on bitcoin. Because everybody will know about its importance and its benefit how it can improve economy .it can be trade across the globe and will improve the import export business, and also economy will gain a lift when bitcoin trade is high.
