681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Options Market is Losing Confidence in Bitcoin,This Could Spell Trouble for 2020 on: December 27, 2019, 04:02:52 PM
Bitcoin (BTC) has been able to incur some tempered bullishness today after a multi-day period of hovering around its support at $7,200. Today’s slight gains have come about in the face of a strong down trend, however, which could mean that these gains will ultimately prove to be fleeting and followed by further downside.

One factor that analysts are pointing to as support for the idea that the macro-bear trend is still far from being over is the fact that the options market is losing faith in BTC, which – in combination with other factors – could spell trouble for the crypto in the coming months.

Surely if someone is losing hope in bitcoin surely it could affect the market price of bitcoin since it is depending on the supply and demand in the market.
But surely when the market price of bitcoin already pump in the market investors are going to be hype again in bitcoin and surely reinvested their money like what happened in the past years.
682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin still a people's currency? on: December 27, 2019, 03:28:30 PM
I've been discussing Bitcoin in a couple of forums, and I'm shocked by the vitriol and anti-Bitcoin passion that I'm finding. It seems that the mass media FUD has turned away the very people who could benefit most from Bitcoin. In contrast, Bitcoin is becoming stronger every day, and is moving towards becoming a store of wealth, and it seems to be moving into the ambit of the rich and the knowledgeable. I'm giving up on Bitcoin evangelism, and concentrating on fattening my wallet.

I thought that Bitcoin might become one of the currencies used by people when the fiat systems collapse, but I think this will only be a minor use. I believe that fiat cash will be used for a while, and silver coins could become a longer term solution. Of course it all depends on the cryptos that are introduced by the various governments, and whether there will be any trust in them.
For now, in my opinion, bitcoin was just an alternative currency since bitcoin has no other uses for buying it was not yet accepted like fiat money in a physical store or even online there are only a few websites that is accepting bitcoin as a payment method so I guess bitcoin was just a secondary currency today. But as the time passes in my opinion bitcoin will be the people's currency surely today the fiat money is what is mainly used but in the future when everything is done digitally I think bitcoin will be a great currency.
683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: two gambling games that are players favorite on: December 27, 2019, 03:16:28 PM
There are two games gamblers like this are card games and dice games ive seen people who look for this games everywhere , because this games are easy to learn and dont need too much effort how to do it, at the same time there is a bit high chance to win, aside from other games do you agree with me, feel free to share ypur opinion thanks
I think dice and roulette are fun to play. I think dice was the best since it is easy to play,
I don't know why I like this game but I could just automate the game and sometimes it is just a moneymaker in my opinion.
Maybe because a lot of people could be so lazy and this like this kind of games  Grin kind just want to win and win the game.
684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: December 27, 2019, 03:03:18 PM
What's best for gambling online? Crypto or Fiat? As for me, I'd rather go full crypto than Fiat for many obvious reasons. Crypto may be extremely volatile, but it's anonymous (depending on the coin) and censorship-resistant. Fiat may bring convenience to people that are not tech-savvy enough to understand crypto, but it can easily be traced by worldwide governments.

Crypto enables online casinos to perform their operations in a somewhat anonymous fashion. Both the gambler and the owner benefits from this. But I understand that crypto is still not accepted at physical casinos. In this regard, Fiat is the winner.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts? Huh
I think this two are just the same since you could use them both for gambling and also gambling with cryptocurrency or bitcoin you are also going to need fiat money and then converted it to cryptocurrency so that you could play in a gambling website for me I think bitcoin or other cryptocurrency is more reliable to play with since it is a digital money compare to playing in a casino.
685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which game is most fair in Online Casino. on: December 27, 2019, 02:52:46 PM
Not to mention, we're talking about a game where the online site that has the most far play.
In my opinion, it's poker, because it's a game I know and the site doesn't ask so much about your stake and winnings, that's reason enough for the site not to steal from you.
The site may give you bad tickets, but again it knows whether or not to get one.

If sellcted others, clarify which game and why?
I think all of the game was fair since you are not the only one playing on the website I think the game could be fair. But also it depend on the websites you are playing sometimes the algorithms of a scam websites are just to scam people and you could always end up losing your money. But I think with this kind of game it is safe to say that they are all fair enough.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Bet Or Gamble Before New Year, Or On The New Year on: December 27, 2019, 02:39:25 PM
I want to know will you gamble before the year-end to try to get the most before the year-end or will you prefer to gamble after the new year to welcome the year, or will you prefer to do both, I'm having second thought betting before the year-end I might end up empty-handed, coming to the new year, and I'm also having second thought gambling in a new year I might end up starting the year with a lost.
I think it is better to start gambling in the new years since it is a new year it could be a great win for you. Also, I think it is better to spend your money for a gift for your family or maybe you could just treat them in a great restaurant. Just an idea but I think gambling was not a good idea in Christmas or new year  Grin
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: December 26, 2019, 08:01:21 PM
So far this year , a lot of scams have occurred in the crypto sphere ranging from projects scamming investors and as well as projects not paying hunters for their works.

What do you think can be done to counter this ill manner behaviors that has been painting cryptocurency bad?
I could see a lot of suggestions in the forums about a background checks for the ICOs and bounty campaign so that a lot of users in the forums could trust the project. I think this kind of thing could add trust to the project and could help it to gain investors in the forum. I think a lot of investors and done investing in this kind of project since it is a big scam for the past years so they need something to help them regain their trust.
688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: December 26, 2019, 07:43:24 PM
Few of my colleagues told me they quit bounty because many new projects are finding it very difficult to reach soft cap and those who manages to reach softcap ends up listing on ridiculous exchanges because of listing fee, a part of me feels like they are right because if a new project fails to aim for top exchange its game over,  the question now is why promoting new projects then?
For me ICO's is already over since for a lot of years the ICO's is already a scam business for a lot of company there are just making ICO's because they could easily scam money for a lot of investors but today the investors are already learned from their mistakes and cannot afford to invest in this kinds of projects anymore so I think ICOs era is already over and I think only trusted and legit companies that already have a name in the industry could make a successful project.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin to buy? on: December 26, 2019, 07:20:32 PM
I recently purchased bitcoin, it was the most I have ever put into a cryptocurrency.
This is going to be a long term buy, This was taken out of stock money,
Now that I have done this I feel more excited about
where bitcoin is headed than  I do about stocks. Now I feel like I should take more out of
Stocks, Feel there’s going to be more return this way. Thoughts on this am I getting carried away

It doesn't really matter in my opinion but remember that investing in cryptocurrency was already a big risk for a lot of investors surely it is not recommended to invest all of your money what is recommended is just to invest the money that you could afford to lose. But investing a big amount of money could give you also a big amount of profit.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why YouTube Bans Bitcoin &Crypto Videos? on: December 26, 2019, 07:10:09 PM
Surely they are aware of what is happening in the cryptocurrency community I think they are planning to ban this kind of videos since they are getting a lot of reports but for me it is not a good thing because they already deleted a whole channel for just a single restriction like this for me it is unfair for the owner of the channels.
691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fight against Bitcoin is coming. Are we ready?! on: December 26, 2019, 06:56:20 PM
Recently Brett Sherman was nominated to chair of Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship and Capital Markets. He will surely have the power to influence bills that can get introduced into Congress. He has been incredibly anti-bitcoin and will surely try to pass bills that will stifle the growth of the industry. Also recently BIS head has been advocating Central Banks begin to use digital currencies for themselves. This will surely play out as a way to out-compete crypto.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-12-05/bis-wants-central-banks-at-center-of-digital-cash-revolution

Discussion: How can they community rally together for what is to come? Are we ready for when governments restrict / sanction any capital flow into exchanges? How prepared are we for these things?
In my opinion bitcoin cannot be banned since nothing owns it the government from a country could easily restrict the people from using it but surely they cannot do cannot about it or bitcoin because it is already in the internet. They cannot delete bitcoin and bitcoin already have a lot of assets already.
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Make Money With Bitcoin? on: December 26, 2019, 06:46:10 PM
1- Are you a daily trader? who buy BTC at loew price and sell it with higher price at the end of the day, If no why?
2- Are you a BTC holder? who bought BTC and hold it for months, Years to be in profit?
3- you tell me.
The only way to make money from bitcoin was to invest in it basically buy low and sell high,
Probably it will be profitable if you only hold it for a long term investment since bitcoin market price was already on a high side the recovery and pump really take time before it did.
Otherwise what you could do is invest your bitcoin in other things.
693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your thought about halving? on: December 26, 2019, 06:25:06 PM
In theory, when supply is cut and demand remains, prices will rise. But what is your thought? Do you guys think it will go up
Surely, in my opinion, it will surely increase the price like for example bitcoin. If the supply was so low in the market even if the demand was also low it could still hold a reasonable price in the market so sure if the supply of bitcoin was cut off it will increase its market price plus the loss token from bitcoin wallets that are already forgotten.
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme, then fiat is a get poor slow scheme on: December 26, 2019, 06:14:26 PM
I found this quality topic on twitter and it all caught my attention. I have seen that fiat is the currency of the Government and Bitcoin is the currency of the people, Can the Government Crash? if so the people cannot Crash neither, because so many people are not making good business from the fiat than in bitcoin, which have provided so much job opportunities for users who are online. Fiat will be replaced soon by bitcoin.

Share your thoughts

I think fiat money is surely established today and i don't think it is going to be replaced by bitcoin even bitcoin was a completely revolutionary fiat money is already completely adopted and already use by a lot of years and it is regulated by the government in a lot of countries, unlike bitcoin which doesn't have a regulation and completely have a confusing history. It could be a great alternative currency but I don't think it could replace fiat at this point.
695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are the world’s governments not using cryptocurrencies? on: December 21, 2019, 02:00:56 PM
I’ve recently learned the many advantages of cryptocurrencies and how they can revolutionize the way we use money around the world, so why are the world’s governments not adopting them to be used as a form of currency?

There are many advantages of cryptocurrencies that surpass fiat currencies that we used on a day to day basis such as better security due to blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies not really being affected by global financial events as it is a decentralized currency

Why are the governments not adopting cryptocurrencies? Is it a world-wide conspiracy by the elite in order to keep in power? Or is it that the people in charge are rather ignorant of the advantages of cryptocurrencies in order to keep the current system of power?

I think one of the reasons why  the governments didn't use cryptocurrency even though it has many advantages is because they know or they have the idea and focuses on the risk that it may deal to their country. They receive many news that in online sites many people are getting scammed and cannot retrieve their lost money.
696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 20, 2019, 05:32:46 PM
Bitcoin is a total worthless coin that is controlled by chinese miners that hate you.

Bitcoin cant do anything that ethereum can do much better.

Bitcoin is worthless and only paid shills like tone vays or antonopulus are promoting this crap coin so you can lose your money on it.

Proove me wrong before delete my thread- and what happened to free speech bitcointalk moderators?  are you paid to be chinese?

Bitcoin isnt a coin anymore for the people but it became a chinese company

stop bitcoin now
I disagree, The bitcoin market price depends surely in supply and demand in the market as there are so many ways that are affecting the price of bitcoin like a lot of exchangers are closing this surely affect the price. Causing a lot of delays in the market price delaying the pump in the market. All you have said are just accusation but you don't even have any evidence.
697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold? Which one you would choose to invest for long term? Why ? on: December 20, 2019, 05:24:11 PM
We all have different  prospective regarding the investment , be it long term or short term.

Bitcoin has been the most amazing invention and has given massive return of investment for those who joined from 2013. From low point in 2013 to 20k in 2017, it has gone from one end to another end. Right now today its trading at $10461 per bitcoin. The prediction is with just 21 million maximum supply it will reach 1 million bucks per coin one day.

Gold has been one of the most popular investment for centuries. Every country or government be it in the past or present always prefer gold reserve over their own currency even to prepare themselves for financial meltdown. Right now GOLD is being traded at $1425/oz.

So my question is which one you would chose for your investment ? Which one you would chose to outperform the other ? GOLD or BITCOIN? Please tell us with a reason why ?

Thanks everyone for taking part in this discussion.
For me both of this investment is great especially for a long term investment as the technology rises surely bitcoin will get a lot of users as it is implemented in all over the world surely the market price will increase in the coming years. Also, gold is a rare metal and has a very high demand and the supply is a few surely as the supply goes down in the coming years the market price will also increase i think these two are both great in long term investments.
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: December 20, 2019, 05:04:17 PM
Note: This is not about how to identify good coins to HODL
This is about how you can be a good long term holder

1. You must have another source of income
Either in crypto space or outside crypto space you must have other source of income, there was a time when i used to rely on coins i hold for monthly income but most time they failed me because some altcoins takes more than a month to add value. You can learn trading or find a better job to get constant income for your daily needs.

2. Not all altcoins are good for long term holding
Some altcoins are too weak to have better value overtime, these coins only add value to price once in a blue moon,WHY?because the power of demand is too low and they have no working product,i belief that working product is what makes a coin have many more investors

3.HODL Only Altcoins With Real Use Case
There are different categories of coins with use cases, many use case are weak use case, for example using fashion  designer to back a token is a weak use case to me because it means you can only use the token to buy the designer wears and many will call this a real use case? no it wont do very well.
Make sure that the real use case of every altcoins you hold will be very reasonable, the products backing them up must be something that is different and will catch the eye of investors, the usefulness  must be outstanding .

4. Stay Updated Always
Opportunity comes but once as many know it,so always stay updated about crypto, read crypto news online and keep tracks on your altcoins so that you wont miss future updated or even token swaps, some altcoins i hold have already switched to MainNet and im glad i dont missed the opportunity, you can use blockfolio app to track your altcoins.

Altcoin season is what many are waiting for, even new projects are waiting for altcoin season to return before they get listed on exchanges,im sure of one thing and that is good things dont come easily, today is bitcoin turn to reign and one day altcoins will have its day as well.

I agree with your tips, but for me, i will just stick on bitcoin since it is the best digital currency and the most popular.
Surely for long term investment as technology rises the bitcoin will surely increase its market price in the future as it is implemented in a lot of people the more demand and the lower its supply the price of bitcoin is surely increasing. It should be a good investment as the community is getting bigger.
699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: December 20, 2019, 04:47:28 PM
Some people are losing $100 daily or $200 a week or $500 a week how about you
Have you counted or estimate all your losses and thought what all your losses could you buy, do you sometimes stop and think on all of this.
I'm not a big gambler but I estimate I could already buy a good class mountain bike with all my losses, how about you?
I don't play a lot in gambling sometimes I only play once a week sometimes not even once but surely if I start losing around 20dollars I know that I need to stop already.
And then I could try again some other time I think the money that I lost is just going to increase if I keep on playing so I stop playing as soon as I lose around that money.
700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 9 on: December 19, 2019, 06:07:18 PM
Hello, running a bit late again,...
So let's get started already, I hope everyone is on a very good condition this time even though holidays are pretty coming near.

What if,... you're just watching someone on a Casino that suddenly keeps winning for a streak then after that he notice you and gave some money as a tip for his luck. Would you use the money he gave you to try your luck on that game (or any game you like) ? Or just keep the money for yourself for a good cause?

So tell me, what's gonna be...
It was just given to me buy the winning guy I think I will just going to play it and try to be luck too I think it was a good try even if I lose the money and it is a also a great day I win and make a profit in that money from the guy gave me, Also it was fun playing or gambling so I have no complain even if I lose or win the game either way.
