202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: August 04, 2017, 11:16:29 PM
Yes i used to set mostly ×2 or max ×4 of my initial bankroll but lately i have decided to gamble less as it isn't worth anymore as bitcoin is increasing daily and reaching new heights , instead me and few of my friends to start doing some trading as market is really low now and can be a good start for us
yes that is too much important to have limit in bitcoin because if you do not have any limit then your all investment is in risk. because to use all the money you have in one time in bitcoin is not a good decision.

Yes. Because we all know that gambling is a very risky strategy that a person will face. So that in strategy of setting limits are one of the best way in order to control your money and to overcome the greedy attitude and to know wheter you will be winning or losing.

Exactly, everybody will become greedy in the form of winning and losing. So it is best to people who are gambling because without limitation it is not possible to control our emotions whether it is a winning situation or losing situation.
When random winning and losing happens automatically user will get addicted. To overcome addiction all that required is set our own limits and gamble. This makes gambling effective and minimize lose. When noticed majority of users who have lost big haven't had their own limitations.
Why settle for a minimal loss when you can avoid it all in all and just focus on accumulating btc. I mean i'm not against it, but does it really make a big difference whether you put s limit on your gambling or not? As long as you're gambling, you're bound to lose.

Limits on how much money we can afford to lose and keep it in that way would at least reduce the possibility to get the worst result, losing a lot or even going bankrupt in a single gambling session only.
i think yes limits is too much important, because if we have limit for our trading or gambling then we can avoid the risk of losing a big amount of money.

Limits is not that important. You are just putting a wall so you can't drive all the way off ( that is a metaphor) but you don't know that you can drive through the especially when you are mad or drunk or drugged. For me Limit is not the important thing but Control is. Yes you limit yourself but can control yourself from getting out and stop gambling?
203  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Payo ko para sa mga kababayan ko dito ( bago ako mawala, Si jaycee99 dito ) on: August 04, 2017, 04:05:43 PM
Una sa lahat nasira na pala tayo noon pa kasi maraming gumagawa ng altaccount with same style of posting pa

204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: August 03, 2017, 12:00:04 PM
I play only for pleasure, not for profit. With pleasure I can play and on a demo account when the money runs out, this does not diminish the pleasant feelings from the game.

I also play for pleasure or you can say for fun because I don't want to be addicted to these kind of activity. I just want to have fun and spend my time after a tiring and weary work at an office with a boss like a ***k.
205  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: BCH/BitcoinCash greater than BTC? on: August 02, 2017, 02:40:18 PM

206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash doing alright? on: August 02, 2017, 06:56:57 AM
Amazingly BCC did very well, No3 now just after bitcoin and ethereum. I guess it will take a few weeks to see how stable it is. It's a good altcoin though Wink

There is nothing we can tell after such a short time period. I give it a month or two before we get a good picture of it's stability.  Tongue

That is right, we can't tell what might happen to these new altcoin forked out of the blockchain, all we gonna do now is wait. And just after a few months, another debate will happen and also the fork will be official for the Bitcoin Cash.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are BCC and BTC SEGWIT an altcoin? on: August 01, 2017, 03:49:51 PM
Someone say yes someone say no. Explain me in scientific way. yes or no?

BCC although a fork from Bitcoin, is more inline with Satoshi's original vision. It was Satoshi's original intention to scale by increasing Block Size. Satoshi had no intention of having something like segwit integrated into Bitcoin. Basically BCC = Bitcoin purist

BTC segwit although still mainstream, is being held hostage by a rogue CORE dev team, they are not inline with Satoshi's original vision, segwit is a danger to decentralization and Satoshi's vision of Bitcoin being a "P2P Electronic Cash system".

So you're saying that the bitcoin we usually or commonly know is a dummy coin that is twisted by some so they can earn a lot of money? I know that Roger Ver is making Satoshi's dream into reality but isn't it bad to make a development that is different from the creators mind.
208  Local / Pilipinas / Re: August 1's Panic Done. November's Debate is next. on: August 01, 2017, 03:10:23 PM
Nag announce na si Theymos na safe na ang pagtransact ng bitcoin, that means na clear out na ang panic sa day ng split, or popularly called August 1's panic. Ngayong tapos na siya, ang sumusunod na topic naman is the Debate of November 1. Wala namang deal saken yung Debate pero may nagsasabi na makakaapekto ito sa price ng bitcoin, any predictions or comment about this?

Nabasa ko nga po yung announcement ni Sir theymos about the transaction of bitcoin.
209  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ⚠ AUGUST 1: Bitcoin chainsplit (Summary) on: August 01, 2017, 02:21:52 PM
sino naka receive ng bcc?

Hindi po BCC ang term sa Bitcoin Cash, it's either BCH or BCash.

I store nyu lang po ung naipon nyung coins sa wallet like coins.ph po then ipon lang gang lumaki or gumada ung exchange rates ng btc to peso cash or usd...

210  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Will I automatically receive bitcoin cash on blockchain.info? on: July 30, 2017, 12:28:44 AM
Will I receive bitcoin cash automatically or will there be an option I have to choose? Also, do I keep both bitcoin and receive bitcoin cash or will I have to EXCHANGE bitcoin for bitcoin cash? Thanks in advance fellow bitcoiners.

You will not be receiving any BCC on your blockchain wallet. Some said that they did not support the fork. It is better to keep them on a the suggest wallet from the post of Theymos like Electrum and Mycelium since I store them in my android phone.
211  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Transgenders are not allowed to serve the military. on: July 29, 2017, 12:32:04 PM
I have just read this article about Pres Trump not allowing transgender to serve in military
I respect transgenders as long as they are physically fit and can do their duty, there is no problem.

Why do they disregard transgenders? I mean, there is no gender when we talk about doing your best to serve the people. A soldier don't need to be measured by how the way they look but how the way then can protect the civilians. There are even soldiers who are straight up boys and girls but can't do their job correctly.
212  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: BitcoinTalk.org Android App on: July 29, 2017, 02:44:49 AM
Hello guys is this app legit or safe to use? Publish date nya is 2013-11-13 at last update nya ay 2016-01-18.

Ito po link ng app guys;
https://m.apkpure.com/bitcointalk-org-forum/net.elbandi.forum.bitcointalk

213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 28, 2017, 11:23:43 AM
My plan after collecting bitcoin, I want to open a business, build a house and other things for the future of the family such as investing in companies that use bitcoin. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
Yeah that is also a good way that you collect it for the purpose of open a business and build a house. Moreover, I am sure that you open those business in future that's will going towards successful .

All of us here want to earn bitcoin and build something out of it. Me? I want to earn bitcoin, save them and then use it to invest in some ICOs or new digital currencies. In short, I want to earn more bitcoins and money.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin address owner? on: July 26, 2017, 10:45:19 PM
There is a service where you can see which exchange (organized market) is the owner of bitcoin address. It seems the Google hides all links from me  Grin. I can't find it already 2 hours. Give me the link, please.

I think you can tell someone's bitcoin address by the way it is constructed, for example a Filipino bitcoin address starts with number 3, when you search for a bitcoin wallet starting at number 3 or do a research about it, you will be seeing the result as coins.ph because it is the popular bitcoin address there.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] BitDice ICO - ICO Of The Biggest Crowdfunded Casino With 2300Ƀ Profit on: July 26, 2017, 02:41:43 PM
I didn't see the rules about posting on the ANN thread, does that mean we don't need to post on the ANN thread no more?
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoins ? on: July 23, 2017, 12:45:07 AM
Why use Bitcoins ?

I keep seeing threads on “why don't people” ? The real question to me is Why would they ?

-The average consumer will go way out of their way to save money. Bitcoins cost more.
-The average consumer will usually pay a little extra to have convenience. Bitcoin is less convenience and more hoops and complications.

I just cannot see any reason for the average consumer to use Bitcoins. Until average consumers start using Bitcoins they will just be an experiment and a small speculative bubble.

I have my personal reasons, I am interested Bitcoins them as a tech person, speculative investor and person that follows evolving treads and markets. I am just struggling to see any.. benefits for the average consumer at this stage.

I want to use bitcoin because it is a volatile digital currency that can give you a profit in a small period of time. Unlike other digital currencies, or crypto currencies, bitcoin is the most valued digital currency. I am still javing a doubt to buy because I miss the dump last week, maybe I will try to wait again these week.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: July 23, 2017, 12:04:47 AM
bitcoin 's price is increasing.it's a source of money for me.bitcoin helps to earn more and makes happy. it's helps to change life. so for me bitcoin is a short way to become rich.
Yes bitcoin is the source of money. Why because if you invest 100$ into bitcoin you can get profit from it when the price goes high. There we can say that bitcoin is the source of money. Because we are getting profit without any hard work. Therefore I would prefer that to invest into bitcoin and get a lot of income from bitcoin as the price goes up.
yes that is right bitcoin is also a good source of income for me. i will like bitcoin to remain for a long long time and contiinue giving us such a good profit.

Bitcoin is also a source to retain the wealth that we have, with its existence bitcoin i can save more money and bitcoin is a great asset to invest. Investing in bitcoin allows us to become rich but with full patience to avoid panic when big dumps occur.

I don't know how bitcoin can retain someone's riches, I mean you are asking too much of bitcoin. Bitcoin is really volatile so even if you invest a lot of your money in there, you need to be careful because you may be caught by surprise by a big bubble popping.
218  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Get rid of old topics to make way for new ones that need answers. on: July 22, 2017, 01:55:49 PM
I would like to share my opinion here about this forum that it should be really clean (I am not demanding po Smiley )  I would to suggest to get rid of the old topics but not delete them. I wish we add an orther forum that has old topics/200+post answers so we can make way for those who need answers that has 10 answers below. I Hope that my opinion would happen but if not its okay I am fine on how our forum works. (but if changes happened I will be happy as well )

Also, may nagrequest na din about Philippine thread having an Off topic, di ko lang alam if mangyari yun. It is not that I am saying na magaling akomg poster, para lang maging mas malinis tingnan thread natin.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it worth using bitcoins anymore for gambling ? on: July 21, 2017, 11:25:16 PM
I feel my bankroll management and savings all are highly unstable. Can go up or down by storing money in bitcoin to gamble. Some form of betting like poker requires good bankroll management and with value changing everyday, I don't see bitcoin as a good use for poker players and sportsbettors.

I don't see bitcoin like these, because most of the bitcoin I use is from some of my faucets, PTCs and advertisements that I made. I don't have any investments to start with because bitcoin has a lot of ways to offer to earn them.
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: July 21, 2017, 12:45:57 AM
I want to know what you guys think about this, I have stopped gambling but still trade so does this mean I am still gambling?? I don't trade on basis of luck I trade using my skills would it still be considered gambling??

Please tell me what do you think.

Gambling is not trading that ia clear as day. Gambling can give you a mental disorder like addiction and depression. Trading on the other hand are making yourself aware and making your brain thinking making it active also, it is a like a good and bad but more on good than bad.
