161  Other / Off-topic / Re: Examination the true test of knowledge on: November 17, 2017, 01:14:09 AM
A Lot of controversies have trailed the assertion as to whether examination is the true test of knowledge. What is your take

I think this is funny, think of it, a teacher will discuss the coverage of the examination, it is like the teacher is saying Memorize those terms under that topic. How is that a test of knowledge if there are students who just memorize the topics and then forget all about it in the next semesters? I don't know how to test the knowledge of somebody but I know one thing, they use it to be a skill and to be used in their jobs.
162  Other / Politics & Society / Re: End of the World on: November 16, 2017, 11:47:37 AM
Many people say that we are the last generation of human race. Some say that the end of the world is near. What do you think, how will the world end?

They say the world will end at the year 12-12-12, waited for it, never happened, then the next year, another statement was made but nothing happened again. I think it is easier if we just let don't think of it because Earth will live million years more while we humans will live less than hundred years. I guess we live our life and think of what may happen to us, than think what will happen when the world is ending because we are all dead before it happens.

164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be a key for us to become successful person? on: October 01, 2017, 03:03:51 AM
Well it depends on what aspect you want to be successful in. If successful means in financial aspects or business then i guess the answer is yes though it depends on how you handle things. In bitcoin, a lot of oppurtunities come and everyone who joins it has the chance to become successful financially or has the capacity to push on their dreams.

That is right, I agree with that. But I think being successful doesn't mean that you are financially successful, there are a lot of aspects as you've said and it depends on how the people will interpret your status. Making your siblings graduate is another aspect, making your parents life comfortable and proud I think are some aspects also. But I think the most aspect of being successful is either you have reach more than of your dream, or reach the top through your hardwork.

4 days before the ICO ends and I am not been active for a while now, this is frustrating. This will be the last week right?
167  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islam on a roll in ASEAN on: September 01, 2017, 01:56:29 AM
The siege in Marawi city in southern Philippines has entered its 100th day. The military claims to have already recaptured 90% of the city but there are believed to be still around 200 ISIS fighter inside. The government is seriously considering finally bombing the mosque they are hiding in.

https://www.reuters.com/video/2017/08/30/the-marawi-city-siege-enters-its-100th-d?videoId=372426704

On a sadder note, there were reports that the priest terrorist seized from a church they later destroyed has "converted". Apparently this is under duress as some of the hostages has already been beheaded for refusing to convert. I think it's also possible that they are spreading this rumor to demoralize people.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhFc5pXwRSc (Video is in Filipino)

With this and the now escalating unrest in south Myanmar, we can certainly say that the Islamists are quite active in ASEAN right now. I wouldn't be surprised if there would be unrest again in southern Thailand as Islamists there take cues from those in Philippines and Myanmar. After all, Thailand also had its fair share of bomb attacks.

I do not treat this people as Islams but as terrorists. I know some Islams from where I live in but I don't see them doing such things. They are like covering their own color with their religion.

Hello guys !
I'm new here. Sorry for my bad English.
In my opinion whatever is done by the hand of man can be broken / destroyed. I know, you believe this can't be possible because a lot of people can't make a perfect strategy. In the last 24 hours I wanted to break this myth and I think I SUCCESS!!! You do not believe me, but I will attach you some pictures to see that I have succeeded.
All is automated (dicebot).
This post is not created with the purpose of giving me great. I want you to know it's possible. I'm probably going to sell the strategy but at this moment I will test it for a week to convince me that it's perfect, and if it is not, I will perfect it. I'll keep you up-to-date within the time available. I will probably leave some tips here  Wink

Scrolled for the good jokes down your post because it is all great. I think there are still flaws about this strategy, can you try making the bets higher and your starting bitcoin capital at 10- 20 BTCs. I think I will be buying this strategy.
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Jr VS McGregor on: August 26, 2017, 11:25:11 AM
Floyd Mayweather Jr VS Conor Anthony McGregor
Who win?

For me this isnt a right fight, because mcgregor its a MMA fighter and mayweather a boxer
I like more the boxe than MMA, so i would like that will win mayweather

Well, this just shows how McGregor's boastfulness is. Mayweather has the upper hand here since he is a boxer for a long time now, undeafeated if I may add. But If you think of it, I don't think that McGregor will be doing a fight if he is not ready for it. He is hated by many but I don't think that he comes in a fight unprepared.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: August 26, 2017, 07:29:20 AM
Yes true, the fact that there are many people feel the benefits after the presence of bitcoin. They can do things from faucet claims, trading, mining and follow the signature campaign.

I don't recognize signature campaigns as a job or a work but a task that we will be given a certain amount of bitcoins or other digital currencies in return. I just save most of my digital currencies in hope that it will be more expensive in the near future.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: How many can resist selling off their BTC for huge profits? on: August 26, 2017, 06:43:34 AM
What percent of people do you think are able to resist selling their BTC when confronted with huge profits they've obtained.  Say 500% or more even?

No one can resist that kind of profits man. That is 500% profit, if I bought bitcoin for $5, and say I get a profit at the price of $500 every single coin, that will be a fortune. I will not waste any time and I will converting my coins into fiats.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Slow BTC Network on: August 26, 2017, 06:09:40 AM
We're supposed to start using Bitcoin Cash. It's soon to be the real Bitcoin.

LOL, It may be the ideas of the creator of bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, but I think it will not be the bitcoin that we will be using everyday but the altcoin forked out of real bitcoin's block chain. Bitcoin Segwit will still be the original bitcoin in the eyes of the users.
173  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Can a topic like asking questions for some minor isues be bannable? on: August 25, 2017, 12:51:54 PM
Enlighten me po still adapting to the rule so that i  will not bother anyone but rather helping them sorry if my grammar is wrong

Hindi naman agad mababan if nagpost ka ng something minor. Maybe read mo na lang mga rules and then reflect on that. Siguro wag ka na lang magpost ng mga posts na something obvious and something na di naman talga related about bitcoin transactions and development ng bitcoin.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think GigaWatt (WTT) is a Scam or Ponzi Scheme? on: August 24, 2017, 11:36:59 PM
I've had some discussion on this forum about this. I do not think Giga is a scam or ponzi scheme at all, and generally feel the opposite - that they're extremely legitimate and their ICO token sale had real, measurable value. I was a significant participant in their token sale so obviously i have some skin in the game.

others felt very differently, however, but I never really understood their reasons why they felt that way.

for the record, i purchase my miners directly from bitmain. you do not need to buy through gigawatt.

if someone feels giga is a scam or scheme, can you articulate why you feel that way?

thanks!

I think you need to remove the post here and put it in the wrong thread. This is the link of the thread for Scam Accusations https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0
175  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: For the pinoy "Newbie" rank who post about sig campaigns, please read! on: August 24, 2017, 03:27:56 PM

Matuto pong mag basa

This is nice, karamihan kasi ng mga Pilipino ang tanong ng tanong about this.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Look at Two Alternative Bitcoin Hardware Wallets on the Market on: August 22, 2017, 11:03:17 PM
I'm pretty happy with my current hardware solution ledger but I think if the competition keeps up maybe the cost of a hardware wallet could come down a bit. Right now it's kinda expensive compared to real wallets.

I think that's a barrier for going mainstream

Their price is,yes, we can say that it is good enough but what matters is the service it can give and not the price it will take. Especially the Bitlox, I guess they are doing a pretty job making this wallets. I think if I am holding a pretty lot of bitcoins, I will go with the extreme Bitlox.
177  Other / Archival / Re: BeOne Signature & Avatar Campaign on: August 22, 2017, 04:49:31 PM
This must be in the bounties section and not here. Yes, you can post a signature campaign here but you must assure that the payment of those digital currency includes bitcoin. If the payment doesn't include bitcoin, it must be in the bounties section.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you could ask 1 Question to Satoshi Nakamoto what would you ask? on: August 19, 2017, 02:47:29 PM
I'd simply asked him - why Wink Why he decided to change the world. Actually, i'd like to ask him what is the best ICO to invest.

I think the first question I will ever ask Satoshi Nakamoto is why did he leave his creation/invention. I think it is really great and he don't need to create a currency and then leave it all up to the developers. I think he must have a sense of responsibility with what he has created. I think he is not a responsible person making a mess then leave it and make other people clean his mess.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: August 19, 2017, 01:02:30 PM
Well, at the very least, if it isn't money you can easily convert them to money. They are a very liquid asset. But it is true that not many regular people would accept them as a payment.

The fact that people accept them as a payment, we can say that it is also considered as a money by most of the people. But the thing about this Digital currency is that only a few stores accept them. Even there is a lot of bitcoin users, still there small population of stores that accepts them because they are so volatile.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Random thoughts on the recent and upcoming hardforks. on: August 18, 2017, 11:22:21 PM
I don't think that there will be another hard fork at the debate this November. I mean bitcoin cash is out and as far as I know, November is the real date when bitcoin cash will be officially forked. So again, there will be no hardforks that will happen.
