181  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: August 18, 2017, 11:04:46 PM
Because not many people know with bitcoin, especially in a developing country, it seems too far to be able to end poverty in the world

So you're saying that if people knew about bitcoin, bitcoin will be able to end poverty? No, even if people knew about bitcoin, they will never be able to become a rich people. Unless, that poor people knew bitcoin before it's veey popular price like in the year of 2009 where people first bought bitcoin.
182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: August 18, 2017, 03:33:05 PM
It's the nature of human that keeps them coming every time they lose. They come back with the expectation of getting their loss back by betting more than what they lost and such GREED makes them lose more (if they lose again). Even if they win after their loss, they don't stop and keep trying their luck repeatedly which makes them lose in the long run.

That is right, the main reason is the greed of every one of us. We thought if we gamble we can make a lot of money from it and we will automatically rich but we won't because when we gamble, all we will ever experience is regret and jealousy. Regret because of the money we lost in gambling, jealousy because when someone won a game, you think you can make more than that and ended up losing.
183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: August 18, 2017, 02:55:34 PM
The worst thing in gambling is to play for credit money when there is absolutely no money and to believe that it is possible in this way to earn a lot of money in order to secure a life.

Most of the people think that gambling will give them fame and riches, it may give you fame, but you can't assure gambling to give you riches. Gambling is all about risks and luck, so I think if you are aiming to be one of the most successful persons, do investing not gambling.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: August 18, 2017, 09:14:37 AM
It depends of the legislations of each country, and so does the taxes you have to pay or not ! For exemple, in Japan it is a currency, so you have to pay taxes on it, but in several countries, it is an asset, just as a rock, on which profits can not be taxed. What I recommend you is to take advantage of this situation while it still lasts !

I don't get it, take advantage what? The taxes? I think we are still paying taxes but it do not go to the government's hand but to miner's hand and it is called fee. I think it as a fee because they are just using it to earn theirselves money from mining. If all the bitcoins was mined, I think there will be no fee, there will be no tax.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: August 17, 2017, 07:40:52 PM
I don't see alts replacing btc at any point. But they will definitely go on sharing the market. Alts present a welcome alternative, it's always a good opportunity to speculate on both alts and btc

Jeez, the only upside of bitcoin is that its old. Look at tx time (realistically 2 blocks, or 20 minutes). Look at tx price - 40 cents on average (and constantly growing, mostly due to mining reward halving). Can you imagine people at the register waiting 20 minutes and paying nearly 1 dollar to buy a 2-dollar doughnut?

Ether or LTC or RIpple will definitely outpace BTC in 5-10 years.

Yeah, I am having a vision of this everytime. Bitcoin will not be staying at the top but wil be overcomed by a lot more altcoins in the future. Litecoin for example, it is the lite version of bitcoin and offers a.good type of fees amd transactions. Bitcoin is just at the top because it is the first one to release and it is the original digital currency.
186  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 17, 2017, 07:16:45 PM
The Bank is not able to bring you income. The maximum that you can get from the Bank is compensated for the inflation of the currency. Even if you are not able to trade on the exchange it is cheaper to keep free money in bitcoin. Its price grows and generates income more than any Bank can offer you.
Banks are not operating to provide us profits, they are there just to make capital with our moneys and pay us back only a small portion of that profit. The only secure and easy way of earning big profit with your little investments is stepping into digital world and working for saving bitcoins.

Bitcoin and digital currencies gave us a new type of earning, in just holding this digital currencies, we can have a lot of profit. Still we need to apply our skills and knowledge to be more successful. But in just after some years, bitcoin named a lot of millionaires in this industry that is a proof of it's success.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: August 17, 2017, 07:06:52 PM
No, I think it would be less popular, because the traders helped a lot to make it more popular and rised its value. Theoretically it would be sufficient to have a fixed exchange rate, but as it's a decentralized system this will never happen!

I think it will still be popular. First it is the first digital currency and second if it is more stable, it will be easier to use offline because people will be having no doubt on investing or accepting this kind of digital currency. But unfortunately as you've said, bitcoin is not a centralized currency so it will not be happening.
188  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Anong magandang wallet na gamitin? on: August 16, 2017, 03:02:56 PM

189  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Recaptcha Update of the Forum on: August 14, 2017, 03:29:39 AM
Kagabi hindi ko maaccess ang forum na ito kase sinasabi na down ang server ng forum. After an hour gumana na and then nagulat ako kase meron nang captcha.
190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Still don't believe BTC can reach 5K, then 10K and then 50K? on: August 12, 2017, 09:37:18 PM
You better believe it folks Cheesy Patience is the key.

We've reached beyond the price of $3500 so I think it will not be a long time, it is coming. Our problem is when a whale who bought bitcoin for $300 dump all of his bitcoin, I think we will be having a huge price dump. We all know that whales selling off their bitcoins are having a great effect on Bitcoin's price, he reason they are whales because everytime they move, it creates a series of wave.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: August 11, 2017, 02:28:58 PM
If miners keeps support to BCC then for sure it will rise more then BTC.
Block size is larger then BTC and there are transaction problem occurs on BTC.
Lets wait and see whats going to happen but for sure i will buy on dips BCC

Bitcoin are much more valuable than bitcoin cash as any of the currency which is been used while on the net then it has much less chance of getting in corruption so bitcoins are great way for making money

We all know how valuable bitcoin is than bitcoin cash. Also, bitcoin cash is just the continuation of the dream of the creator of Bitcoin; Satoshi Nakamoto. So I think that people like the idea of Satoshi Nakamoto if he is present the time bitcoin is having a lot of issues. If Satoshi helped the developers and include himself or themselves in the debate I think they can understood and this will not come to this where there are two parties.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: August 11, 2017, 01:24:17 AM
I am using Coinomi wallet from nearly 2 years never had any problems.

I don't really have bitcoin that much though I save mine with the use of coins bitcoin wallet. It is very efficient and veey easy to use though it is an exchanger which is not a preferred bitcoin wallet because it don't give you your wallet's private key. I've been usung it for months now.
193  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: August 10, 2017, 03:23:51 PM
Bitcoin has surely reduced an unemployment in recent times as people who are aware about bitcoins are earning good money from it and it has helped people especially in third world countries where people have very less opportunities to find full time job.

I think they Bitcoin did not reduce any unemployed people in the world, the truth I think that Bitcoin made a lot of people go unemployed and just earn bitcoin for a living, that way they can work without their boss because they are the boss of themselves. Also, bitcoin, for me, just gave people chance to earn some small profit out of bitcoin and it did not make them Employed.
194  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: August 10, 2017, 02:46:11 PM
you need learn about investment in trading to make more money or invest in bitcoin mining but need to be a hard working before you get your dream making more money, and also keep you bitcoin as a savings because i think holding bitcoin or any altcoin currency is the best way to make more money the bitcoin now is almost everyday pumping the value, so maybe before the end of year the bitcoin value hgher upto 5000$.

I don't think it will be reaching a price greater than $4000 this year. After the August 1 fork, the price of bitcoin pumped to the dream price of many investors and users, reaching at $3000 above. Right now many investors and users are enjoying and still rejoicing from the income that they have get from using this digital currency.
195  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: August 10, 2017, 02:15:48 PM
Personally, its changes nothing to me , i do not practice it but i do not condemn those that do anyway . moreover in my country it is illegal .

Who would want seeing a couple, with the same sex kissing each other and banging one another in their rooms? Even porn sites are uploading these type of videos which is like they are promoting this kind of act. Boys are intended for girls and girls are intended for boys, there are no less, no more.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that in near future BTC would be connected with mobile number? on: August 10, 2017, 01:55:11 PM
We do not need that option. There is no added functionality if you connect bitcoin to a mobile number but risk security of the owner. If you can connect bitcoin to a mobile number, you can easily connect it to a face and criminals can easily attack owners of addresses with large amount of bitcoin.

Yeah i agree with your opinion and i think if that happen bitcoin is more easy to hack by some hackers today even bitcoin secure but still a lot of people there bitcoins got stolen by hackers
Was BTC unhackable  when first aired on internet? I think not.

Bitcoin is not that easily hacked though there are ways to hack a bitcoin wallet provider especially the one's in the exchanges or without the private keys. I think even if we connect our bitcoin wallet into a phone number, there will be no dramatic change at all.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My customer brother story of BTC on: August 10, 2017, 07:35:19 AM
Here is one guy yesterday meet him and talk a little business ( he is IT business and make online apps for healty or doctors somethng like that ) and i just ask "do you know bitcoin? "

He said : yes we now and we a millionare now
I' m suprised but how is that ?
He said my brother position

By the end of 2011, Bitcoin took about 5000 6000 dollars at the beginning of 2012. He put it in his cold wallet and  for a while last year until he found that hard disk and  remember the Bitcoin in it investment will be higher position now

, and now he is very happy and indeed as a belly he does not believe me and 5000$ 6000$  why I do not invest  when I buy
And  think now  still very angry to me

Did you believe ? It is a good dream for one guy who is believe bitcoin and now position .

Then he left and all night

thought about this event yesterday evening if someone on time had found us on the recommendation to me

I think if I just had a lot of money 9 years ago, I will be doing the same thing. Because the people who believed and bought a lot of bitcoin that time is now millionaires. I think he will not be selling off applications this days, he will be starting to send bitcoin and invest.
198  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do we actually cash out of BTC? on: August 10, 2017, 06:47:00 AM
Or any alt-coins?  Meaning, turn our BTC into USD.

In our country, there is a well known bitcoin wallet, which is the Coins.ph. though I don't recommend you using it because it is an exchanger, you don't hold your private keys there. But when it comes to caahing out your BTCs, they are very efficient and easy.

That is right, coins.ph offer an efficient way of cashing out your bitcoins into fiats through banks, cash pickups, they even offer game credits. And also, coins.ph is not the known site there, there is also rebit.ph. For me, the difference of these two is that rebit has higher cash out than coins.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Boxing Champ Floyd Mayweather Is Promoting ICO's on: August 07, 2017, 02:02:21 PM
If this photo doesn't signal that the ICO bubble is about the burst, I don't know what does... :-)

Hahaha, nice one.
This just shows how Mayweather want to earn money. He is not just sitting on a ring to get money but also in the front of his computer. So we can conclude that all of his games is for money  Grin
200  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: August 07, 2017, 02:50:56 AM
If you choose to leave a pre-existing job I think it's a wrong decision, the thing to do in my opinion is better you focus on both, and most importantly you should be able to divide the time.

But there are things to be considered. First, are you happy doing those jobs or you are just forced to do it because you must? Second, is the pay rate good for you to keep? And lastly,  are you serious with your current job?
