141  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Bitcoin is good but bitcoin cash and ethereum is on the rise? on: December 01, 2017, 01:22:31 PM

142  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Payag ba kayo maging Cardless community ang Pinas ? on: November 30, 2017, 10:31:49 AM
Anong cardless? Walang debit card? Walang credit card? Medyo malabo yun. Anong ibang bansa ang cardless? Even mobile phones have apps that function as bank cards for payment purposes, Apply Pay and Android Pay, etc.

143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Around 4 Million Bitcoins lost forever!! on: November 27, 2017, 04:20:58 PM
The problem with this is that there is no way to determine how many have been lost. We could count how many claim to have lost coins. We could count coins that have not moved in years. But no matter what data you are looking it it will not result in much of an answer.

There are a lot of bitcoin holders and we will not really determine whether if they are just holding it for a several years or maybe they lost it but I am thinking where is the bitcoins of some criminals that is handed to police? Can we consider it part of the bitcoin that is lost forever or other people are using it now?
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: November 27, 2017, 12:07:54 PM
Yeah I think That Bitcoin is now the Much more have worth than any precious things here in world but Bitcoin Is just not stable about its value but I believe Its will literally go Much more Higher than ever and will conquer all the Currencies

Well. it is expensive, it is volatile and it is decentralized, anyone who loves these features really thinks bitcoin is very precious. But I think if I will be comparing bitcoin to gold, I will still go to gold.

Gold is more popular than bitcoin, even if you use it to pay anything in the world it will be accepted unlike bitcoin. Bitcoin may be more expensive than bitcoin but it is not that popular to people and also not so stable unlike gold.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want China be back into Bitcoin? on: November 27, 2017, 10:47:48 AM
Didn't realize China left? Who's mining the darn thing?

As far as I know, there are still some miners in China despite of the ban. But China really made a huge impact on bitcoin, if China stops the ban and continue to use again bitcoin, there will be a huge pump immediately.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Traders on: November 26, 2017, 08:16:56 AM
I've been visiting exchangers daily to see what is the good spot to exchange my tokens, and there are a lot of people who are pissing me off.

People who tends to sell off their tokens cheaper than usual, I mean why do you need to sell your tokens cheaper? If you can sell them more higher? The result is other people follow these price and other people will sell it more cheaper.

I think they are thinking that it is the same as the markets of good where in they sell it fast if the price is cheap. They are not thinking that in trading, it will affect the market and instead of pumping the price up, we are starting to bring it down.

So what do you think if supply > demand. I want to sell my coin at high price but no one buy at that one, so I must down my price to sell it. What's wrong?

There nothing wrong on your situation, but think of these scenario, yes no one bought your token and you decrease your price, other people will tend to make their prices even more cheaper and there will be a domino effect until you will realize that the cheap price for you, can get more cheaper, so in order to sell your token, you again will make the token cheap, that is the problem.

The problem doesn't end in your part but starts at you.

149  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Possibilities in future and negatives on: November 25, 2017, 04:10:57 AM
We are witnessing now all these erc20 scams. I actually participated in a couple airdrops cause i thought well i join a couple for fun and actually gained some. But its not right to be part of a scam and make money out of thin air i figured.

With that said, if crypto becomes massive. What stops people to make all kinds of shitcoins and see like 100.000 shitcoins on cmc if  not more.

Another thing:

would it be likely we see all businesses have their own coin? Amazoncoin? Walmartcoin? (i use these  since these are internationally most known. Not an American..)

As far as I know, airdrops are meant to make their new coin popular, who will not want a free coin right? Also, if you really are reading some of their announcements and roadmaps and white papers, I think you can easily pinpoint what is the "scam" coin and which is not.

The problem is some people use this airdrops tactic to earn easy bucks. Create ERC20 tokens -> make a thread about airdrops -> etherdelta market -> the dev dump all the tokens -> easy bucks and repeat. This airdrops scam will repeated because so many stupid people join airdrops blindly. They always think free tokens = money.

Sadly that is the truth. This people are making this altcoin or airdrop a taken for granted to earn "easy" money. But the thing I hated the most if when people make their own currency so they can just get the attention of people and after they've invested in these currency, the developers and makers will run with the money.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: November 24, 2017, 10:19:45 AM
I dont believe if billionaires invest in bitcoin becuase we did not know if billionares invest to bitcoin  but for me numerous billionaires have own business so they're going to have a so much  higher revenue and so i think billionares lying on mattress? And just awaiting their cash . or maybe they didnt know about bitcoin.

Bitcoin is being popular in the world now as one of the best asset you can have online and I think as we all know businessman and entrepreneurs think, this is a good way of earning. Well, most millionaires and billionaires are businessmen and entrepreneurs so it has a high possibility that these billionaires invest in such crypto currencies.

A lot of people who belong to these people are making their ways in crypto currency world, with the price these days, I don't think that billionaires don't even know what a crypto currency is.

152  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: maganda ba mag-invest sa ICO? on: November 21, 2017, 11:01:57 AM

153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Karpeles Gox ICO to revive the exchange on: November 19, 2017, 08:49:03 AM
Why would Mark Karpeles need $245 million? Five days ago this was published: Mt. Gox Head Mark Karpeles May Gain Almost $1 Billion Despite Bankruptcy.

I don't know how they got away with this. Apparently, instead of paying back with whatever was available in the bankrupt company, he waited a few years until the remaining Bitcoins were worth much more than he owed people.
Basically, he got a loan in Bitcoins that he can pay back in dollars at the price it had in 2014!

With the price tripled the price in 2014, he can pay back those people without any problems, it is not just that but he can still have some profit through it, he is really smart.

I wonder why he's selling off his site now? Maybe he's conscience?
154  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of Bitcoin ? on: November 18, 2017, 10:22:36 AM
I hope what you're saying is right, of course all of us wants bitcoin to have a bright future and it is what exactly is happening to bitcoin right now but ofcourse no one knows what's  gonna happen next so just don't be too carried away.

Bright future? I don't think so, bitcoin network having a bug out of the SegWit2x is not a bright, not at all.

I think bitcoin will be having a great future if the "politics" that is surrounding bitcoin become one and unite for the better good of bitcoin, I think it will be having a bright future brighter than a bright future.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Increase in value or decrease? on: November 18, 2017, 09:26:45 AM
In my opinion the fork is always bad. Any money likes stability and predictability. This bitcoin can't provide. Many people may disagree because after every fork they get free coins. But I think that it is a very small compensation for the loss of image. To sell your bitcoins you need now if you need money urgently. In the future it will rise in price.
Hi thanks for your response. May I know, when you meant "They get free coins". Who gets free coins? And how?

When bitcoin fork, it is splits right? So that means that the forked new coin is separated to the original coin.

That also means that if you have a number of original bitcoin in your wallet, for example, 10 of them, that means you can also have the same number of new coins which is 10.

157  Economy / Economics / Re: Why segwit2x failed on: November 18, 2017, 05:31:07 AM
It failed because only 7% of miners accepted it

As far as I know many miners supported it and then just backed out when the day of the fork is closing. I think there are some issues about it but we can conclude that the miners isn't the reason.
158  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Do we want our own coin? on: November 18, 2017, 01:36:53 AM

Sa tingin ko, mas maganda kung magICO muna and then if the results is not that attractive to people, magkakaroon ng airdrop kasi ang airdrop magandang panghatak sa tao.

If mangyari yun, sa tingin ko hindi naman agad bitcoin ang pilipinas but the crypto currency we made.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash Fork is going to happen or its false. on: November 17, 2017, 04:01:53 AM
Hi

Is Bitcoin Cash Fork is going to happen or its false.

If yes any idea when it is going to happen and what's the use of this fork. Are user getting any new coin during this fork.

Thanks

I think this thread must be in the altcoin section. Bitcoin Cash was said to fork which is the Bitcoin Clashic, saying the future of money and the true vision of Satoshi Nakamoto, well, I've heard a lot of that before but none of them became successful. Good luck to them.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: November 17, 2017, 01:35:09 AM
It is in already in advert, but not much in mainly on websites, but it will very good to make popular advert so the world will know about it.

We people who earns bitcoin from signature campaigns and bounty campaigns are one of the good advertisers of bitcoin, we don't need television and other social medias to do it. If you will be thinking of it, because of how we earn and tell our friends about it, the bitcoin is becoming more popular than ever,
