Do you guys email Sushi?  I've had responses from him without issue.  Usually took a few days, but he gets back to me.
582  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 11, 2014, 10:01:28 PM
Q1. Setup a site for us to input our timestamps, public address, email etc. so we can verify our shares.

Ken - "I need to check with my lawyer before doing this."
Ken - "Active Mining Corporation (Belize) is holding shares for  investors, pending the MSD investigation and colored coins. "

So until Ken agrees to move away from Colored Coins, it's Colored Coins.  And he needs to check with his lawyer before he can do it.  And the MSD investigation has to end.  So no shares for you...

* * *

Now here is something I think is interesting.  Ken isn't getting a full refund from eASIC.  He instead has "a plan" to recover the amount.

Q2. How much money did ACTM lose in the 28nm eAsic failure?

Ken - "This has not be finalized as of this date.  We are working this week a plans which will recover the complete eASIC NRE."

Ken - "I would not expect a full refund from eASIC; however, as I have said we have a plan, which with a partial refund from eASIC we could recoup eASIC's NRE."

So could... Maybe.  Might happen.  What might happen?  Might be that he'll use what was already done with a different vendor so the money wasn't wasted.  As in...

Q3.  You mentioned the 'March good news' recently.  Is it related to the schedule for the 28nm full custom and when will you share this news?

Ken - "It is related to a 28nm full custom chip.  As soon as I can.  Still working on some of the details."

Ken - "We have started with a new vendor for our 28nm project.  Our custom 28nm will be very competitive in the market place and will be air cooled and use a double slot.  The estimate speed of the new card will be 432 GH/s and will be listed at $1499.00."

Ken - "We will be releasing financials for last year by the end of the month."

So to me, it sounds like the "good news" is that he got his partial refund from eASIC, put that into the new project which gave them a cost savings that helped recover the NRE and that everything is moving forward.  And then he'll supposedly lay out the financials that are left over.  Meanwhile, you and I won't have access to our shares.
583  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 11, 2014, 03:53:42 PM
Ken said the news is a financial report.  I don't see how anyone gives a crap about this if you don't have access to your shares.  Whether suddenly ActiveMining has earned millions of dollars or it's in the toilet, either situation doesn't do anyone any good if we don't have access to the shares.  In fact, if the news is glorious then all the more reason why people should have access to their shares because their value should, in theory, go up!

No shares means the news is just fluff and again falls into two camps.  Those that believe Ken is telling the truth and those who do not.  Then we'll be kept waiting and asking for when we can have access to our shares or if ActiveMining is solvent.

Thanks!
585  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Whats a good Bitcoin Mining profit calculator? on: March 10, 2014, 10:52:09 PM
Does anyone know of a mining calculator that save the history of the Bitcoin difficulty to determine how well your mining has done over time?

It'd be nice to go back to some date such as October 2013 and then factor how many Bitcoins were generated since that date to today based on whatever hardware specs were entered.  I think it would be interesting to see how specific pieces of hardware have profited over time.

586  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 07, 2014, 09:36:42 PM

Oh the irony of Ken spending our future dividends on legal fees to fight off disgruntled shareholders while he scales up the business with 28nm full fat miners.

Ken has said that he is in the process of retrieving almost all of the NRE so be sure that it does exist.

Your stab in the dark quote of 5,000,000 ($?) is one that won't get you Ken's business because he has clearly found a more competitive price elsewhere.  Anyway, is it not much cheaper today than it was 9 months ago?

I am not going to reply to the rest of the comments in your fud post but will say there is light at the end of the Blocktrain tunnel and we are now simply waiting for some great news.  Think I'll get my F5 button replaced in anticipation.   Cheesy

ZZ, with respect, you have no proof of anything you are saying.  If my post is FUD yours is blind optimism.  What we KNOW is that he has about 1400 bitcoins.  We don't know anything else, other than you cannot fund a 28nm chip with that money.  Also, the only person I saw who said the NRE was 1 million was you.  Can you point me to where Ken said he was getting back 1 million?  I don't recall ever reading him say that.

Ken and his family get paid right?  Something pays to keep the lights on.  Who pays the lawyer?  That's all coming from somewhere, and my guess is it's coming out of the bitcoin wallet everyone is worried about becoming slips of paper in fire safes.
587  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 07, 2014, 07:53:57 PM
Serious question...  If Ken has 1,400 coins and eventually gets back the 1 million NRE from eASIC (That I'm not sure even exists) what can Ken do with this money?  He can't make a 28nm chip with it.  That costs like 5 million.  So what is going to do to make money from it?  Other than lose money paying legal fees and fighting any lawsuits from losing that 650 in preorder money on MtGox, I can't think of anything.
588  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 06, 2014, 10:35:29 PM
I honestly think we may have invested in someone's fantasy.

At this point it wouldn't surprise me if he was just running a stock QT client unencrypted on his laptop.

You mean the wallet with the one satoshi in it?
590  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: March 05, 2014, 09:41:37 PM
If you can count on anything from BFL it is that this is not going to be the only delay.  There are no assurances that when the chip comes back that it'll be correct, or any other of these processes they have in place will be ready.  We also don't know if they'll have stock of necessary hardware parts on hand for all of their orders.  Something that plagued them apparently, when they were working on their previous product assembly.

We should consider getting a refund and putting the money into a first round of Asicminer's new chips from competitive resellers making hardware.  At least one in China has already announced plans to begin production.  It's my guess these will be price competitive and available sooner than the other 28nm companies currently engaged with manufacturing (BlackArrow, BFL, KNC) and even after they are released.

591  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: March 05, 2014, 07:29:36 PM
You get the Imperial (The 800gh Monarch) based on your original queue position.

You get the 600gh Monarch at the end of the order queue, which means by the time you get it it'll be worthless.
592  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 05, 2014, 06:47:26 PM
I am not talking about just a financial audit it would include looking through all the details of all the failed chips so far and assesing what went wrong and why and if it will happen again in the future, hence we need someone with expertise in ASIC's. Which is why I suggested contacting the bitcoin foundation to see if they could recommend someone.

With respect to this idea, I think finding out that granular level of details is pointless unless you intend to conduct a lawsuit.  Whether or not Ken is competent or made mistakes isn't going to help anyone recoup their investment.  What we need to find out is if any of this is actually real.  Right now we have no idea.  There is no proof of anything that has been said.  Having someone produce some proof would let us know that our money hasn't vanished into a black hole.  It would also be significantly cheaper than hiring a company to do what you suggest.

If proof can be established, then one can walk through the books to determine how much was spent and how much is left.  I don't think you really need ASIC knowledge.  You just need someone to see where X number of dollars went to.

Anything beyond that, you might as well sue Ken and find it all in the exploratory phase of the proceedings.  You'd be further down the trail legally and would have the power of the court behind you to demand access to what is being questioned.

I think what we need is evidence.  Someone drive over to Ken's place and have a look at what is going on.  Or maybe Ken could produce something like we've been asking him to.

My guess is nothing will happen and we'll be scratching our asses doing the same thing six months from now.
593  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 05, 2014, 06:24:22 PM
Producing a financial at the end of the month does nothing for anyone since no-one has any shares in this "company" that they can do anything with.

Ken continues to respond with one line responses and ignores the questions being asked even by his own cheerleaders.

We continue to have zero evidence there is anything going on at all.

I am doubtful a U.S. company is going to be able to perform an audit on a company based in Belize.  Even if it Ken himself is located in the U.S., the audit would not be on him but the company itself.  You might as well find someone here that lives near Ken that isn't considered a fanboy and have them meet him and look at the books and see the evidence and report back.  If that can't be done, there is no point to anything else going on here.

I think this is all just a waste of time.  If there was evidence to suggest anything was happening, Ken would have posted it.  The financials are just smoke and mirrors.  You wait for nothing because you have nothing to get.

Considering adding a FAQ to the business plan so that over-time when repeat questions come in, you can just point people to the FAQ to save yourself time.

I like the idea of flipping the house, obviously I'd check to make sure all the proper permits are in place on the work already done so you don't find out that half of it has to be torn down.  Home values are going to continue to rise (You have to put a growing population somewhere) so any time spent on work being done should grow the value as well.  I say go for it.

If it turns out to be a failure, it'll be an inexpensive failure (Over the long haul) and can provide some insight on potential unknown variables when doing something like this.
595  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 05, 2014, 12:41:21 AM
I think anyone asking Ken for answers should first ask for EVIDENCE of any of this actually happening.  He can tell you what you want to hear all day.  Things like, "Working on it, soon, had to realign the forward deflector dish..."

I want to see some proof.  Screenshots, camera shots, whatever.  Show us something legit.  Then answer the questions.

Following up, my hosted unit came online today.  Sushi responded via email that it was shipped to an American host and that was why the delay.  Either way, it's up...

Rather than demanding action immediately I'd suggest waiting until Wednesday to allow Ken enough time to work out what information can and should be shared and draft something substantial which may have a chance of keeping the shareholders on board.

ZZ, I respect you and your opinions and you seem to be one of the biggest supporters of this operation.  But let's agree that waiting until Wednesday for a couple sentences from Ken is ridiculous.  We hear about the Wednesday update (every week!) and it's sparse on solid information.  I don't want Ken to come in here and tell me a yarn about what has been happening.  I want to see some proof.  I think at this point we've all been patient enough.  It does not require him to draft some formal letter to the shareholders.  It's called taking some pictures or screenshots and posting them up.  Every other investment I've been involved with that hasn't gone sour has done this.  (Way more than this) And I'm invested in pretty-much all of them, even that banana farm and seventh continent voodoo wizardry or whatever that one is about.  And this is the only one where after a huge amount of time I've gotten nothing, seen nothing, and yet surprisingly people are calm about it and just accept it.  Aren't you a little upset that you found out about the 55nm being canceled because of MtGox losing your money through someone other than Ken?  If Wednesday comes and he supplies no evidence will you continue to be assured that this is going to turn out positive?  I just want to know where this feeling of satiety comes from.  Because I'm not feeling it.  I think we'd all like to feel it, but all I see is a lot of nothing.  You're like the zen master.  Calm and peaceful.  Good qualities that I don't share.
598  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 03, 2014, 08:24:34 PM
Well i called and talked to Ken today and he said Just Watch what happens in 3 weeks So i think that is the good news he is talking about, So i will wait the 3 weeks and reserve my judgement of everything till then

Why?  Why do we have to wait three weeks?  Is it a surprise and this is my birthday?  I don't have shares that I can trade that knowing what is happening is going to matter.  How about just telling us now?  Show us some proof of what is going on.  He's not too busy to talk to a reporter (Or whatever he was) to talk about himself and his business, but apparently is too bothered to come in here and answer people's questions.  Even the most ardent of believers have asked questions politely and have been totally ignored.

Some of the money we all spent on this endeavor was lost at MtGox and we found out about it because he made an off-hand remark to a reporter.  And his excuse is that he wanted to wait to mix it with the good news.  Seriously?  Here's an idea...  Since we already know the bad news, why don't you tell us the good news now so we don't have to wait three weeks for one sentence that says, "Everything is improving.  Looking good.  All is well." and then nothing but speculation in here for weeks more.

Take some photos Ken and post them.  What's so difficult about that?  Show us some evidence that what you are saying is true.  (Or what you're inferred as saying, since we don't actually gain any information from you first hand and have to find it from others.)

599  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 03, 2014, 05:47:50 PM
I'm a share holder, not a troll.

Ken provides practically no information in this thread.  People ask questions, often very good ones, that he flatly ignores for no good reason and responds to others with short sentences that say nothing.

From the get-go this entire investment has gone no where.  I do not believe there is a 28nm product coming.  I do not believe money was lost on MtGox.  There is no proof or reason to believe any of this is true.  I'm not sure what you faithful are basing your beliefs in with Ken except hope that your money isn't wasted.

The only reason I think Ken is coming in here saying anything is to keep potential lawsuits off his back.

Provide some proof...

What's the address to the Bitcoin wallet that holds the funds?

Show us some physical proof that this 28nm project is actually happening.  Photos or scans or design documents.  Something...

Show us the transaction ID of the money that was sent to MTGox that is now lost.

I'm sure other people here can think of other ways to reassure investors like me.  I would like this to be a profitable venture but seeing as how the guy running the show is flatly ignoring the people who put money in his pocket it appears this is going to turn up dead like so many other Bitcoin ventures.

Let's have some evidence Ken.  You're not that busy.  Spend a few hours and show the shareholders what is going on.

Bought one with hosting...  Still waiting for it to come online.  So far money is in a black hole with no email responses and no mining going on.  Just waiting...
