Not to pick on you, but Antminers have been selling since the very first Group buy by Sushi way back in late November.  Retail and resellers everywhere in December.

Interesting since their post takes orders on January 15th and it says orders would ship on the 25th.  Posted by Bitmain - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=417159.0;topicseen

But I guess that is wrong.  That's cool.  Can only work with the evidence on hand.

When they didn't make February sure, but since most people put orders in before January 1 to be in the first batch, and since Antminers didn't start selling until January 15th it's all hindsight now.  Who would have known?

They would never have shipped in February.  They didn't have anything.  They didn't have cases, fans, heat syncs, touch screens, interface software, power supplies, nothing.  Even today they have the chips but they are still waiting on other parts.  They could never have shipped in February, didn't matter what the power was on their testing, it wouldn't of mattered.  They just told everyone February to drum up sales to fund this operation.  If they had said, "We'll have a miner in May or June" most people wouldn't have ordered through them.

But hindsight is 20/20.  People think they would have all bought Antminers, but my guess is that most people would have sunk their money in KNC or BFL or Cointerra or one of the various other outfits and be just as disappointed (if not more so in some cases) than they are now.

You mean the part where he says the power leaks are "mostly" fixed and that the website is not done yet?  What did I say incorrectly that this covered?  What else YOU got?  More than half of his answers are "Working on it, more to come, dunno yet..."
406  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: May 15, 2014, 07:04:38 PM
They've said in their previous updates that the LCD screens are late, there was an inductor problem so they needed to wait a week for those to come in (Which was said last week, so they probably should have shown up by now), that the software for the LCD would take three days to write, and that the web interface wasn't done yet.

So it sounds more like software issues than hardware.  Probably assembly is happening but they have to apply the software to the machines and get them working before they ship out.  I would hope they are doing some burn-in testing as well which can eat up time.  Last thing anyone wants is to the get a broken non-working miner because they rushed through the software and missed some bugs, or some hardware component fails.

But an official update covering everyone's questions would be nice to have.

So does this mean bobsag3 is leaving China with an empty suitcase that was supposed to be an X-1 or X-3?

Only if his ransom is paid...

Of course everyone is saying, "I think it's fair if you double my order."  I'm waiting for you guys to ask for Triple because that would be more, and more works in everyone's favor except BlackArrow.  That doesn't mean they are  going to do it though.

Before they come on here and say anything about compensation, we need to know when they are going to ship/start hosting.  Because compensation / price matching should be based on when they ship.  Not to mention some people considering refund requests.

Everyone wants to know one thing...

When are you shipping?

It's a $300,000 loan on a fixed 7%.  That's like a normal home mortgage in the States.  (Though interest rates are about half that these days.)  Can use the existing mortgage payments to pay the loan, you buy new properties with the additional money to grow equity.  Then use those payments to leverage again.  In the meantime you flip some houses and what-not for additional revenue.  Plus, housing values should rise which will gain more profit vs just collecting rent payments.

There is risk of another total housing market meltdown, but so long as the initial properties can handle the loan payments with a buffer for a risky tenant or two, you have no issues.  A total worst case scenario is you liquidate properties to pay the loan off.

I say you leverage, when you need you to.

Can anyone confirm if the X-3 compensation units will be shipped with the original order? Or, will they be shipped at a later date. I am debating if I need to order a PSU now or wait until I see the original order arrive before spending more money on this.

We have pasted the last shipping estimate and no news. When Bitmine.ch did this, they took another month before they really started to ship anything. Any shipping schedule updates for X3s?

I don't know, however I don't believe Black Arrow currently has such a huge back-log of orders that the difference in shipping times are going to be that significant.  You might be talking about a week between shipments if they broke them up.  This is China we're talking about here, they can pump these things out and ship them pretty quickly.  I suspect everything will ship out within a couple weeks.  But again, just guessing...

Branny, when do you see getting leverage/loan?  A year from now?  Less or More?  Just curious in the planning on that...
413  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech launches a new line of ASIC miners - Best W/GH/s ratio on: May 13, 2014, 04:35:33 PM
I know.  We've been having a conversation about other vendors in relation to how the hashrate will be when Spondoolies releases their SP30 in August.  So by pointing out that BA, KNC, and others are shipping we're discussing the profit potential of the SP30.

Of course now instead of bashing the other companies that some of them are shipping, you don't want to hear about it.  Whatever...

Youre joking right ? I canclled an order for 10 x1 black arrows and an X3 all batch one.. still waiting on a refund though

what do you mean they ship this week? from what i heard they still have not finished case design and cooling.

There is a thread.  X1's are waiting on cases and are looking at another week or two.  X3's are shipping at any moment.  Bobsag3 is there and reporting on the situation.  They announced the chip specs at 200gh at 150watts at the wall even with some induction leakage.  So 1th is 750watts at the wall.

This may have been answered before and I apologize if so.  Can I order the X3 compensation PSU from Minersource even if my original order is placed with Blackarrow?

Completely depends on the final power specs which we don't have yet.
418  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech launches a new line of ASIC miners - Best W/GH/s ratio on: May 12, 2014, 09:21:34 PM
Black Arrow is selling 2th units.  (Technically 1th each, sold in pairs.  Anyone who preordered in their first batch gets an extra 1th.  So 3th shipping now.)  They also sell slower units, the X-1 but those had to be purchased in sets of 10.  So it's still over 2th I believe.  The X-3 is what is shipping soon.  The X-1 as well, but a little delay due to some board changes for that one.  Actually when overclocked they do 1.45th each but it depends on which board you get.  The early boards are fixed at 1.25th where the later boards are 1.45th.   So a lot of oomph is about to hit the network in the next week.  Not to mention they are racking their units for their own internal mining and hosting packages.  We don't have a clear number on how many those are.

And yes, Asicminer, there are so many of these it all gets jumbled together...  My mistake.

I sold off my shares.  Good luck to you all with this.  I'm no longer going to follow the thread.  Best wishes and I hope you all make a lot of money.
420  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: May 12, 2014, 09:17:35 PM
I, sadly, feel as thought it'll be proven out as a scam soon enough so there isn't much point in really arguing about it.  I think there is enough information in this thread that a wise person would not invest in PBMining until they disclosed evidence that they are indeed mining.  Since no such evidence exists, it's a complete and total gamble that you'll make your money back from investing with them, let alone profit from it.  Some people have money to lose...
