101  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which client allows full control of source addresses on: October 20, 2013, 08:46:25 PM
Bitcoin-Qt with cozz's coin control patch is even better, IMO.
I second this. I use it for all my group buys, games, escrows and other stuff with vanitygen created compressed keys. PyWallet also useful for watch-only clones and maintenance (delete keys you will never use again, or archive them into another wallet.)

Where can I find the Bitcoin-QT coin control patch.

Hello Polyatomic,
we have reviewed your loan and found a few problems. Our first point is, there is no collateral. You probably do own the miner but there is absolutely no insurance you will actually pay if something goes wrong. On top of that, we have issues with the reason. Why do you trade it for AUD, and then later re-pay us in BTC? And second, what do you mean by "increasing my activity here on the forums"? Unless you have a good explanation for the reason, and possible collateral, this will most likely be denied.

My apologies Boelens , I must of not read the requirements thoroughly enough. I do not have any easy transferable collateral.
103  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [24 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: October 20, 2013, 10:31:39 AM
So as I originally said as I have 10 gh and now don't seem to find a share before p2pool finds a block I can't get paid out.

Look up, gmaxwell just explained it.  You don't need to find a share every block, or even every 3 days.  You will find a share and be paid, you will just have a lot of variance.

Thanks, I had read what he said, I also read the posts after him, who said I need a share to be paid out. And therein my reply to that.

As I said at the start I really like p2pool, thanks for all the replies from you hero members. I will transfer my 10 Gh back to my own p2pool and see what happens after a week with regard to payouts. I will repost here.

Ty all so much for your advice.

Rluner , you should get a similar payout to me dude , it got as high as 0.014

113  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: September 28, 2013, 05:45:37 AM
Hi TF, I still don't get it.  Is this website fully operational?
All deposits and withdrawals are still ongoing?
Why is it in "demo' mode?  Because of certain laws?

Place a demo application and see if you get a demo approval.

I think one of the causes of orphans is that my bitcoind instances are taking 5-10 seconds to do a getblocktemplate so we end up working on the old block longer than we should.

I've done some testing and this seems to be due to not good disk latency on AWS EC2 instances.  I've done testing with Google Compute Engine and numbers there are much better.

I've setup a test instance, us-central on GCE and am doing some production testing there.  If it goes well, I'll switch everyone over to GCE probably this week.

New nodes are up.  stratum.hhtt.1209k.com is pointing to them.

They are:
us-central-1.hhtt.1209k.com
us-central-2.hhtt.1209k.com
eu-west-1.hhtt.1209k.com

Extremely efficient pool operator that fireduck.

It looks like Blockchain.info does not update orphaned blocks fast enough "20 SEP" is the last orphan , or it could be here https://blockchain.info/rejected
