@ Neil , How did you go with the earthquake ?.
183  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: July 20, 2013, 08:27:31 AM
i find that very annoying that minepeon reverts to the donate pools after a reboot. i just accidentally mined for two straight days in someones else pocket.

Are you using sudo shutdown -h now command. It should not do that after rebooting ?.

 Reboot or reflash ?.

188  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER ASIC FPGA GPU overc monit fanspd RPC linux/win/osx/mip/r-pi 3.3.1 on: July 16, 2013, 03:40:06 AM
README is where you can find it.

For the lazy:
Quote
Q: Is this a virus?
A: Cgminer is being packaged with other trojan scripts and some antivirus
software is falsely accusing cgminer.exe as being the actual virus, rather
than whatever it is being packaged with. If you installed cgminer yourself,
then you do not have a virus on your computer. Complain to your antivirus
software company. They seem to be flagging even source code now from cgminer
as viruses, even though text source files can't do anything by themself.

Cheers for the feedback , I'll delete the post now.
189  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Help with FPGA icarus, cgminer :( and windows 7 on: July 15, 2013, 08:43:13 AM
Another thing you might want to try is installing the Silicon Labs driver CP210x_VCP . Then try  cgminer 3.1.1 with --icarus options

192  Economy / Service Discussion / How do I Change Wallet identifier (Blockchain.info) RESOLVED on: July 14, 2013, 10:10:37 AM
Polyatomic here ,(RESOLVED)

I got an email from Blockchain.info informing me that a "login attempt was made from an unknown browser"
Code:
An attempt to login to your blockchainjnfo wallet was made from an unknown browser. Please confirm the following details are correct:
Time: 2013-07-14 02:20:04 IP Address: 95.105.21.115 (Russian Federation) User Agent: Mozilla/5.0
It this login attempt was made by you this email can be safely ignored however you may wish to change your wallet alias.

How do I change my wallet identifier , also does "login attempt" mean my wallet was actually accessed ? .

                                     Cheers
193  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Rasberry PI Minepeon(How many days mining uninterrupted) on: July 12, 2013, 12:32:26 PM
FYI:-

The 11th ztex was mining on my desktop when i took the pic.
The pi is mounted on a single stand-off -- not ideal....

Thats a mad rig , more hashing power  than a jalapeno. I have the same lowprofile heatsinks and fans , just not as many boards.
194  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Rasberry PI Minepeon(How many days mining uninterrupted) on: July 12, 2013, 11:35:20 AM
no restart in July

with dlink DUB-H7 usb hubs.

@1Pakis , what distro are you running on your Pi
195  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Rasberry PI Minepeon(How many days mining uninterrupted) on: July 12, 2013, 10:26:05 AM
I mine using RasPi with 11 ztex quad boards (not using Minepeon, just a stripped down version of Raspbian), runs fine for weeks. And even then my uptime is only affected when i power it down to re-arrange cables.

Code:
pi@raspberrypi ~ $ uptime
 17:02:56 up 12 days,  2:31,  1 user,  load average: 0.47, 0.63, 0.58
pi@raspberrypi ~ $

Sounds like an excellent rig turtle83. What hub do you use ? .
196  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Rasberry PI Minepeon(How many days mining uninterrupted) on: July 12, 2013, 06:59:39 AM
My Raspberry Pi (256 MBytes) with MinePeon 0.2.1 is very stable. But 2 days ago, when it launched again cgminer after the donation period, it could not access the 2 USB Block Erupters. They stayed with the green leds lighted and I had to restart the RPI to get them mining again. Both USB Gizmos have heatsinks "glued" to the ASIC IC and forced air from 2 fans. They don't go higher than 38ºC, but the Hardware Errors stay @ 0.9%.

Excellent case for the Pi dude.
197  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Rasberry PI Minepeon(How many days mining uninterrupted) on: July 12, 2013, 03:13:24 AM
A new hub seems to have sorted my issues of random failures for my Rasberry Pi on minepeon 2013-06-11. 72 hours stable.
198  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [500 GH/s]HHTT -Selected Diff/Stratum/PPLNS/Paid Stales/High Availability/Tor on: July 11, 2013, 06:43:53 AM
Difficulty is 26.2 Million now.
199  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: July 10, 2013, 11:46:04 AM
@Mineforeman , I got the hub from Jaycar http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=XC4946 and has been stable for ~24 hours.

Rasberry Pi miners using minepeon , How long have you been able to mine WITHOUT a restart ?.
