It's only me, or there is something strange with the macaddress that the DHCP's are receiving from eth0 of the new version of MinePeon?

With the old 0.2.2, I was receiving the usual 12 digits, but with the new version, the Windows 2010 server's IPv4 DHCP receives 36 digits. I compared it to the IPv6 macaddress (with ifconfig -a) and it's not the same.

My La Fonera 2.0 router refused to give the reserved IP I had for the RPI and gives a new one.

What could be wrong?

I wonder why its doing that ?. I reserved an ip once for the pi and it hasn't changed since then. Some routers are funny , I had to get a new one  as the old router I had found every device I have but couldn't find the pi.

Can customers still make purchases using bitcoin.
147  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: August 17, 2013, 05:58:38 AM
I pushed a few updates for the LCD display code to github. The current version hopefully fixes a bug where the incorrect pool URL was sometimes displayed. (Kano: I didn't code this exactly the way we discussed, but I think it's working.) I also updated the URL display code itself. If anyone notices an incorrect or scrambled URL, let me know Wink Note that the full pool URL will not be displayed.

Have you tried testing with a higher difficulty ?. 32 should be ok. I can't remember if 50btc lower the fee for using a higher diff ?. Excellent work BTW on your display.

155  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: August 15, 2013, 04:12:59 AM
Hooked up 100 USB miners, using 2 raspberry PI.

In my testing each raspberry can only handle about 45 miners, after that the additional miners just don't get detected.  However after you get into the 35+ range you start to get a much higher rate of HW errors.

So I had to split the miners 34 per raspberry and 32 on my desktop, got another raspberry in the mail, so will run 3 total to handle all 100 miners.

Currently cooled with just a standard room fan, but the rig really doesn't run that hot so I think I'll replace that fan with a small USB fan for each hub.

Almost a grand for the hubs ya madman , Excellent rig.

Will minepeon still remember the  donation pools even if the fields are empty . I'm donating an hour now to catch up . If not , Neil can you please give me a donation URL to enter in the GUI.

So long as the time is set it should I believe you could check

Code:
nano /opt/minepeon/etc/miner.conf.donate

That should open it read only if not add sudo/

And see what pools are listed.

It basically runs a cron hourly and if the time is noon this file kicks off

/opt/minepeon/etc/cron.d/hourly/donate

It copies your config to a temp then copies the donation config and restarts cgminer for the allotted time then copies them back and restarts it again.

I was able to set the right date on the miner client but the time is not right yet. I'll run it for 24 hours and see what happens. , I should of just set it up when I first started using minepeon .

Thanks for helping out.

Hi,

an error on blockchain.info makes it appear that the pool is out of coins... it already happened in the past Smiley

http://blockchain.info/address/1HHTTPaz86gcxqntnjZMHbaoF4EvyYZCka

gives

Code:
Got error 157 'Unknown error code' from NDBCLUSTER

spiccioli

Might have something to do with the vulnerability .
