41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid getting scammed. on: September 02, 2018, 03:29:51 AM
It seems the #1 issue around the people who have been robbed is phishing sites and email links.  Double check the URL and never click on links in email unless your 1000% sure.  No one is actually getting hacked.  Just making mistakes.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaining or Losing ??? on: September 02, 2018, 03:27:52 AM
I have huge gains and huge losses.  Enough to make one sick.  I'm ahead a bit right now even with the low market.  Can't wait for an upturn to be fully in positive territory.  I'm starting to starve over here with Bitcoin at 7k.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN? on: September 02, 2018, 03:26:09 AM
So saw many self airdrops of ERC20 tokens and wave platforms in social media. They would promise their investors a cheap token price purchase, and in turn promise a good listing price at the exchange. 98% of these self airdrop never make it to exchange, and the few that get listed in a decentralized exchange get pumped for 2hrs and there after dumped forever. Why do you think people still patronize these scamming project and not study good ICOs and buy?

People will never ever learn.  Ever.  The greed and FOMO take over and the primal brain takes over and boom.  People will listen to nothing.  All they want to do is feed that Lambo urge.  I now mostly just step aside and watch when people are about to screw up.  Its way more fun than having them get pissed at you for saving them.  Every once in a while I will profit from the populaces stupidity as well.
44  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: September 02, 2018, 03:24:01 AM
From what I have seen so far in this forum and other crypto platforms, most of us want fiat eliminated. But let us not forget that there are still situations whereby we can't use crypto except fiat like in rural places without computers or even internet facilities.

We can also trade gold and silver for products.  The only reason fiat is there is because we allow it.

Fiat does give you privacy as well.  With all the KYC boys fighting to make sure we have to prove our ID before we use crypto the only place we will have privacy is with fiat, gold or silver.  The entire crypto movement will be lost and under government control because people were pissed about scammers and wanted their 55 shit tokens that are worth .82 cents because some guy who lives off of $35 a year had 4 twitter id's.  That's all fixed now though with KYC.  The govt has you by the balls and can see every transaction and the guy making 35 dollars a day is now making 150 a day.  Your sadly also now making 150 a day.  It's whats fair!

45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Exchange Huobi Acquires Public Firm for $70 Million on: September 01, 2018, 08:24:33 PM
I use Huobi almost exclusively as it is the main exchange serving the coin STK.  I have had no real issues thus far.  I think they are also opening North American branches as well in the near future.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bountyhive scam on: September 01, 2018, 08:22:50 PM
How can you call this platform a scam while through it participants received rewards worth more than 54,000 ethereum? Yes, payments on social networks are insignificant because of the large number of participants. Participate in campaign signatures of projects submitted on this platform and you will feel the difference!

54,000 Ethereum for one person?  I hope you don't really believe that.  The Bounty Hive bounties simply do not pay you coins with value.  You will get your tokens.  They are good with that.  However your tokens will be worth $0.  I have not totally figured out the scam yet but there is something not right and it's fairly obvious to see.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoin be as important as Bitcoin? on: September 01, 2018, 08:14:45 PM
I think bitcoin will always be the king.  It was the chosen one and the original crypto.  I think other cryptos will change the world and do better things for society than bitcoin however I think bitcoin will always be #1.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto can be less volatile than gold? on: September 01, 2018, 08:13:01 PM
Many people compare crypto to gold, and I see so many similarities as well.

I believe one day crypto can be less volatile than gold. If more people adopt, and address values to everyday items, trading in a daily basis, (like for grocery shopping) then crypto will  be easier to use, safer, fluctuate less in terms of prices, and a lot more stable.

What do you guys think?

Huge crypto fan here but gold has 5,000 years of history behind it.  I think crypto is awesome and I love it but I think we have a ways to go before we become as stable as gold.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never join AirDrop programs any more on: August 28, 2018, 04:43:41 AM
I agree that the airdrop era is now dead.  I have not been paid for close to 90% of the airdrops and the ones I do get paid for are worthless coin with zero value.  Bounties are not much better but at least you hit them every once i a while.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cut losses on: August 28, 2018, 04:42:10 AM
No way man.  Never sell Ethereum in the $200.  Your will be in the hall of fame of crypto stupidity like the guy who bought a pizza for a shitload of Bitcoin.  Don't do it man.  Be patient.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is struggling? on: August 26, 2018, 02:31:44 AM
This is an old post but people Ethereum is going to be just fine.  You want to double your money within 2 years.  Buy it right now at $275.  It's about as sure of a thing as you can get.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is the crypto industry going to look like in 5–10 years? on: August 25, 2018, 11:53:58 PM
I think the industry will be mostly taken over by big players and governments and a lot of the home grown things we have come to know and love will be a distant memory.  This space is changing so fast its hard to even imagine 5 years in the future.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been scammed? or almost? on: August 25, 2018, 11:52:45 PM
The scammers are completely out of control on telegram and email.  If yo do airdrops or bounties your need to use a fake email address and never ever click on one of those links.  EVER.  The amount of scammers is mind boggling.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Shows Resilience on: August 25, 2018, 03:41:05 AM
Looks like we are rising to the 6800 level.  If we break that then its on.  I feel like we are getting ready to slay the bear and move towards 20k.  Even through all the manipulation Bitcoin holds it's ground and is now going up.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: California may allow campaigners to accept digital currency donations on: August 25, 2018, 03:37:53 AM
Your damn straight they will.  Notice the government agencies are all getting in on it.  Mean while on the media they tell how awful it is.  Just get in and hold tight.  This thing is going to absolutely launch.  Just a matter of time.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are old coins no more profitable on: August 25, 2018, 03:35:53 AM
I think there is always the possibility of an older coin pumping.  If the project is still ongoing there there is always the possibility of success.  I would hold them in your wallet and check periodically.  Odder things have happened.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait? on: August 25, 2018, 03:33:15 AM
I'm starting to see some posts of people asking if they should sell their alts and Ethereum.  I get the eerie feeling we may be nearing the bottom as people sell the bottom at the worst possible time.  We always hear the stories as the coins fly past old highs about the guys who sold the bottom.
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1000 This Year on: August 24, 2018, 02:49:14 AM
Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1000 This Year, Wall Street CIO Predicts
"I wouldn't be surprised if over the next year it's down to $1,000 to $3,000,"

Is this going to be real or not ?

The lowest projection I have seen is $3500 which I do not believe we will get to.  $1000 seems preposterous.  I feel as though a solid floor is being put in here in the 6300 range.  Bitcoin does not seem to want to go down anymore than that.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in bounties and Cryptocurrency? on: August 24, 2018, 02:35:29 AM
I love crypto and believe in it fully and think it will become a daily part of life for everyone.  The bounties not so much.  I continue to do a few for the fun of it.  Not doing it for monetary gain anymore.  There is no profit.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People say altcoins won't survive on: August 24, 2018, 02:33:32 AM
Can you gamble on alt coins on trade satoshi?  If so alt coins will survive.  Do you think Ethereum and Monero are going anywhere?  This is just fake news to get you to sell out cheap.  Don't be the fool.
