Just had another go at requesting Poloniex add CBX to their exchange, we really need more exchanges to list CBX and (IMO) Poloniex is one of the best around Smiley

FR

How can we help with Poloniex?

Bittrex or Poloniex, which one wants the potential that comes with CBX?Huh
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Powered by PoSP | Est. 2013 on: March 24, 2016, 03:14:23 PM
Hey i also wanted to contribute towards this effort Smiley

i cannot do with money but i know how i can.

For the offer of 3000CBX, i will add a free logo or any small graphics needed by the person Smiley

My thread if u want to see my artwork.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1347108.0

LETS DO THIS GUYS !!!

Thank You Aizzaku, this is generous of you!

So now with a cool 3000 CBX investment from the wall, withdrawn to your Vault, you get:
1)  600 CBX extra
2) A nice CBX t-shirt
3) A collectable Crypto Bullion Silver Ingot, with numbered certificate of authenticity
4) Free logo design from Aizzaku

This Wall Buster Initiative will be missed, when this Wall is gone and prices have skyrocketed; my fellow Bullionaires (or aspiring Bullionaires), now is the time to benefit from the opportunity this situation represents

I will buy 3,000 from cryptopia @ .0006 today but i want one of those ingots too plus;

1,000 CBX extra (not 600) :p
+ 1,000 donated to my website whatsmyrank.co.uk for future giveaways so that golfers can earn crypto by submittings scorecards (huge global potential) and already includes some coins

if my digital asset (www.virtualgold.org) and (www.treasuryoftheuniverse.com) takes off I would invest more in CGB.

depending on your level of donation CGB could also have included sponsorship of www.digitalcurrencyworld.com, which is mine.
also penned for launch in April (delayed from Jan is Bitcoin21 www.bitcoin-21.com)

PM if you want, hurry hurry hurry! Make me a unique offer and i will take down that wall.

Wow, that is almost 50% off market price... Maybe I am not fully understanding how this is mutually beneficial and fair? I am not sure if you realize that the incentive comes out of our pockets (Core dev team) directly. These are not premined or donated coins, these are coins purchased off the market using hard earned funds and family savings. We are trying to spice things up to get an obstacle out of the way quicker as we are confident this is the piece holding CBX back from a big growth spurt but we can only afford so much of a financial loss to get this done.

Going to give it more attention!

Awesome! Nice tweeting guys! Keep it up!

Has anyone visited their IRC #bittrex???

I am going to pop in now

What's the etiquette for Twittering? Can you Tweet a number of times? (Tweeting as the speak. I like Bittrex. Would be fine to have it as an exchange.)

Mark

Oh, I don't know. I am not very good with twitter. I did however just twitter the following:

I love @BittrexExchange  and I love #CryptoBullionX. Bittrex, please give the people what they want, add CBX!

https://twitter.com/FiniteByDesign/status/712817418704449538

edit: I do not see my tweet on CryptoBullion's twitter page or Bittrex's twitter page. Did I do something wrong?

edit 2: tweeted this https://twitter.com/FiniteByDesign/status/712819182405099520
@BittrexExchange Please give us a major exchange to trade at now that Cryptsy is gone! CBX, Crypto @CryptoBullionX is the only coin w/ PoSP!

I sent a PM to BittrexBill today inquiring about CBX being re-listed on their exchange platform. I am not sure how involved he is anymore but I know he was the one that assisted with adding CBX originally (but we were delisted due to our volume remaining at Cryptsy). With Cryptsy out of the picture, I am not sure why they would not find themselves very successful with CBX trading...

I will let you guys know if there is a response, but, it does not hurt of the community to put a full court press on Bittrex telling them to

ADD CBX!

From VonSpass about a month ago:

Good day, fellow Bullionnaires! Need your help on this one.

We all want CBX to get listed on Bittrex, don't we? This would give CBX the very respected and high volume exchange we have been looking for. I also think CBX is prime material for them, too, so we have a good match.

For this effort, once more I need your support  in representing CBX on social channels...

They are asking us to make more noise, and make it be known that we love Bittrex and would like CBX to get listed there, on all channels including:

Twitter: @bittrexexchange
IRC: #bittrex

Make friends with Bittrex officials, and ask them to review and include CBX.

Let's go team, together we can do this...

Also, great thanks to aizzaku for the contribution to the wall buster incentive! I don't know how I missed this previously, but this is badass work!!!

366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Powered by PoSP | Est. 2013 on: March 23, 2016, 01:04:31 PM
Great job everyone who has helped with the wall busting effort! Still some work to be done but we have made outstanding progress! Keep it up! I do not think there are many others willing to sell at this discount price outside of this one seller. I know my cost average is around $1 per CBX, as are many of us long time investor/holders so the current price is unbelievable especially when you consider the bonus incentive being awarded and all of the developments that have occurred and are occurring. It is going to be a spectacular year for CBX as we overcome this roadblock and roll out our continued innovations.

It is fun to be a part of this with all of you, my CBX family Cheesy

done some at the wall check ur email, thank u

First participant to take advantage of Wall Buster Initiative! Congradulations and happy staking!

Great news, congrats! Once this seller has been removed from the picture we should see some rapid growth. Take advantage of this opportunity to purchase bulk while it is available plus a little bonus incentive!
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Powered by PoSP | Est. 2013 on: March 19, 2016, 03:17:29 PM
I am definitely against centralization, but at the same time, I am supportive of free choice and options. Should someone choose to rely on a 3rd party for anything, I think that is their right, as wrong as I think it may be lol.

We have had this request come up numerous times and of course where there is demand, the market will follow. Perhaps those looking for such a service will move on to another coin that does offer this option or perhaps they will wait until a 3rd party provides it for Crypto Bullion. Either of those scenarios end in investors either moving on to another investment opportunity or still getting the staking service provided to them. Either outcome I view as a lost opportunity for CBX...

If we were to create this service, we could have the ability to modify it to stake other PoS coins as well and perhaps even offer a mining pool service. All of the profits would of course be paid out in CBX so this service could be beneficial to CBX buy support at the expense of competing coins, all while providing a service that certain individuals desire.

Again, I did not think it is the best alternative, but if some view it as their only alternative, I think we have an opportunity to assist.

That all being said, security of course would be the chief concern and obstacle.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Powered by PoSP | Est. 2013 on: March 18, 2016, 10:49:47 AM
Nice offer. Not sure if it works though. CBX needs buysupport and as more people compete with that the price can go higher.
As long as people are selling into buysupport it won't grow. The market has to live through that.

And remember over 13% of all CBX are stuck in Cryptsy. People are waiting to see what happens and if they come back on the market at all.

The exchanges CBX is currently listed on do not represent the price in proper way. Cryptopia is extremely low volume. We need a decent market!

Just trying to be realistic and concidder what's needed to grow more. CBX tech is great, dev team and community is steadily growing but we also need infrastructure, places to trade and spend our coins.

Great points BTCat. I think you would be pretty hard pressed to find anyone to disagree with these.

The difficulty with infrastructure development is that it is heavily dependent on community. You have been with us working in some way to the betterment of CBX for coming close to 3 years now so you know well the status of our community.

We are experiencing a small growth spurt right now thorough our multi-national approach so elements of infrastructure are appearing at their base level but more is needed. Coin market cap is one of, if not the top tool used as a measuring stick for those interested in providing crypto services and exchange platforms. Unfortunately, I do not think we are accurately represented in this tool at this time and a huge issue in this is that one individual has a substantial holding of CBX that they are trying to get rid of. Until this occurs, CBX's price per coin cannot go up, nor can its market cap, nor can its position in this ranking tool.

In order to make CBX more attractive to community and those that help to grow infrastructure, it is in our best interest to boost our ranking on the coin market cap list. Hell, at least get us to a more realistic and reflective-of-work ranking. (I don't want to cast judgment on other cryptos but I do not think the 120 coins ranked ahead of CBX in coin market cap are truly superior.)

So this obstacle needs to be addressed and the results of this effort could be very helpful so I say, why not?
 Grin

Either we are getting our communication lines crossed or I am just lost on this one guys. Let me try to summarize what I gather is occurring here:

m33 is able to stake but after staking his Vault is locking and has to be manually unlocked to stake again, correct m33?
- Can anyone else confirm experiencing anything else of the type?

aizzaku has been staking for a couple of days and not found any blocks and is wondering why, correct aizzaku?
- How many CBX do you have, how long have you been trying to stake, is your Vault unlocked?

Also, if reporting an issue, please make sure you are running Vault version 2.3.3 http://cryptobullion.io/storage-use/ and that you are synced.

371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Powered by PoSP | Est. 2013 on: March 17, 2016, 10:11:20 AM
any help on why i cant click the unlock vault option. what should i do to start staking CBX?

The unlock Vault option is disabled when you have not yet given it a password; if this is the case, you are staking from the moment you launch the CBX Vault... without password your Vault starts to stake right away.

Staking gain will depend on how many CBX you have in that Vault...

i already set up my password just now and i unlocked my vault for staking, but how can i know if its already staking? i cant see any messages that my wallet is currently staking unlike other alt coins wallet

Hi, funny name. Great suggestion, we will add an actively staking notification or icon of some kind so as to avoid any confusion. Thank you and welcome!

372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Powered by PoSP | Est. 2013 on: March 15, 2016, 05:05:33 PM
I haven't got anything after staking for 2 days. not 24 hr but still almost

I have 400 Cbx found five blocks today , but had to click the lock , to lock and unlock , not automated

yes CBX needs wallet to remained unlocked to stake, is the same with all PoS coins.  One feature found in others is the option to have it unlocked for staking only, which as implied allows staking only without the risk of coins being sent somewhere else without owners consent.

The CBX Vault has 'unlock for staking' option. This allows you to stake but requires entry of password should you try to send funds. I recommend this one.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Powered by PoSP | Est. 2013 on: March 13, 2016, 01:05:17 PM
Is there a conf for staking , I have 400++ stake twice and have not stake again second day now , any idea?

Have you checked if your funds are in one single input, or many smaller inputs?

If you enable the 'bullion control features' in the vault by clicking on options/display.

You can then view your inputs within the 'send bullion' tab.

If your funds are split into many smaller inputs, these inputs will stake less often than a larger single input.
You can send your full balance to one of your own addresses to consolidate.

Also yes the Vault does lock when sending any funds after being asked for your password whilst being unlocked for staking only (although the lock symbol displays that it is unlocked after sending). You can click it locked, click again and re-enter your password to unlock for staking.

Maybe this bug can be fixed, it has also caught me out a couple of times already.

Closed , and reopen staked within an hour , but after silence till now , looks like I need to do this to get stakes , any ideas why I'm having this problem . I'm on a laptop i7 , win10 , what other details do I need to provide?

Guys , how do I stop the wallet from going to sleep ? , I restarted twice and each time after an hour or so I got a stake!help

As long as your Vault is running and unlocked, you will be competing for PoSP blocks. By going to sleep do you mean the Vault is locking, crashing or other?

It sounds like you are saying that after you get a PoSP block you are finding you cannot find a subsequent block without relaunching your Vault?

What would this Anon feature involve? It's not something I've looked into, although I know it has been brought up before.

Was a good discussion on the anonymity suggestion and seemed that people were pretty against the idea. We can bring it back up for discussion but as of the moment, it looks like a no go. Regardless, our resources are tied up with other more important projects right now and it was something we were looking at for later in the year.

I have downloaded the wallet and looking forward to use my Yobit funds to purchase Crypto Bullion but it looks like I will wait to wait for weeks to sync my wallet  I am more than a million blocks away is there a way to sync it fast or  a shortcut do you have an online wallet ready ..

Grab the bootstrap download here: http://cryptobullion.io/storage-use/

And use instruction from here: http://forum.cryptobullion.io/index.php?topic=1455.0

This will insert the blockchain up until February 29th so you will only have to sync for the last 5 days.

Let us know if you have any questions.

BTW, Cryptopia has a very good deal on CBX right now.

So it sounds like the majority is against implementing an anon solution. I will go ahead and add a poll at the top of the thread to get a better idea.

Also, what do you guys think of the dark skin and the toggle between dark and light?

I know when we switched to the light skin, there was an outcry of disgust that actually got far more attention from the community than PoSP - which was released in the same version lol.

CBX is currently leading the way in terms of decentralised security, with my investors hat on I would like to see more additions to our network / client that improve security, examples might include:

+ Enhanced fork protection
+ Wallet bakup / auto restore if corrupt
+ Hard wallet encryption
+ Signed certificate authentication
+ Code signing
+ 2fA wallet unlocking
+ Pen testing reports on new software versions

etc...

Basically locking down the wallet in case of compromise and provideing a higher level of confidence that my money is safe; staking away in my 24/7 internet connected wallet.

We do not (should not) need to follow the masses down the anonymity rabbit hole, entering the anonimity game will put us back in competition with the zillions of other coins out there and soak up massive amounts of dev time better spent on makeing CBX as good / secure as it can be.

We NEED to push legitimising CBX to attract investment and participation in our network security model, investment needs trust - and the more open and transparent we are the better we look as a long term investment opportunity for the big players out there

Very well said FiniteRed. I agree with this direction.

Developer resources are of course limited. If we have community members willing to assist, please do not be bashful and step up. This is applicable to any sets of skills community members have. If you have time and want to get your hands dirty and help out, we have plenty of opportunities for you to help.

379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Powered by PoSP | Est. 2013 on: March 01, 2016, 10:57:38 AM
Thank you all for the great discussion and feedback! I can't express how nice it is to have a lively debate and melding of the minds as we release a new version of the Vault and share plans for the upcoming year. It invigorates us to continue working hard knowing that the community is not only following what is going on, but participating and contributing to CBX’s growth and betterment.

It is agreed, we need to keep a sharp focus on PoSP. The next step of that, as outlined in the 2016 plan, is to make CBX easier to obtain and to make 24/7 staking simple for all to participate in. The Pi Project is specifically designed to work to meeting these objectives and does so in a manner that results with the welcomed byproduct of upward price pressure on CBX.

Additional to this however is to continue to attract new users without detracting from our existing user base. New features, such as anonymity, can help with this but the positives must outweigh the negatives and judging from preliminary feedback, this is not sounding like the case.

However, with regard to the storage of wealth versus everyday spending medium debate... Can we loosen up on strict borders of separation and find a middle ground where we can “continue to attract new users without detracting from our current user base”? In other words, is it critical that we specify and limit CBX to only be used for one or the other?

The truth of the matter, as far as I see it, is that CBX can fill both of these roles. Running a pi device for 24/7 staking requires a full node and is a special setup that fits the ‘storage of wealth’ niche. But, at the same time, we have a lightweight Mobile setup option that fits the everyday spending medium niche. The mobile Vault does not allow one to stake but does allow one easy access to CBX for payment of goods and services. Assisted by CBX’s 10x faster than Bitcoin transaction time, I see no reason CBX cannot be used for this purpose.

Personally, I want to use my CBX for both purposes and I think CBX works well in both of these roles.
