anybody here using CBX android wallet and successful send out the CBX?

i'm trying send my CBX out but it always stuck at "Preparing Transaction..." layout
what should i do to move my balance from CBX android wallet?

Are you sure that your network is fine? There were reports that the android wallet wasn't working well back then but it seems those errors are gone as no one is reporting it anymore or so I thought.

The dev of the mobile Vault is aware of the issue and is working on a resolution. I have not heard back since Friday but will report to the community as soon as I do.

Sorry for the inconvenience. This application is via a 3rd party vendor so my hands are tied with regards to fixing this, but I assure you it will get fixed if not fixed already.

anyone having issues to load the wallet ? I am facing issues. It says Loading Error ... Help !!!!!!!

Are you referring to the mobile Vault or your PC?

If mobile, the dev is working on the issue and I will report back when I hear anything. Was expecting a resolution over the weekend that just passed...

If on your PC, make sure you download the latest version, 2.3.4 and get the new bootstrap as well. All downloads can be found here:
http://cryptobullion.io/storage-use/

Let me know if you need anything additional.

I would like to know why posp is better than pos3 (black)  if this could clearly be explained I think cgb will get a lot more attention.

I have asked many people this question many times and yet have not had a clear cut answer. I have quite a bit of cgb from ages back and have always like this coin a lot.

Are you (elambert) the creator of posp? can posp work with full POS and not just POS+POW?  I wonder already why more coins are not switching to this posp and are all using pos3?

Hi cryptohunter. I do not know much about blackcoin and their pos3 but I do hear that it is similar. I would have to study it to learn the nuances but I don't know. Being a higher ranked market cap coin allows blackcoin to be visible to a far larger audience than CBX so they would be more likely to be cloned. Their implementation of PoS was the first (per my understanding) to do away with coinage. We improved on the removal of coinage design by implementing a static reward so as to only reward those staking their coins and securing the network while inactive coin owners forfeited their stake to the active stakers.

I wrote the white paper on PoSP and came up with the concept but Alex4J implemented it into CBX. PoSP is full PoS, there is no PoW in use. When we implemented PoSP, we did away with PoW altogether.

We have tried but we are still battling to let people know about PoSP. The majority doesnt know we have it and a good portion of those who know we have it, dont understand what it is. So.... I think a short video would be instrumental in not only educating current CBX owners, but also the rest of the world.

Guys and gals,
We have a very important project that needs assistance from some of the community. For advertising purposes, we need a short video that explains PoSP. Many do not understand it and that is a problem. It is the best algorithm out there. It is secure, fair, energy efficient, allows for rewards that surpass inflation, etc. But explaining all this is difficult. There has to be a way to create a story board that explains this in a fun and easy to understand way so people can watch a short video and get it.

So, we need first a story board created. Anyone who has a grasp of PoSP and its benefits and has a way of portraying this in a visual medium is needed. This can also be a team of people who contribute.

Then we need someone with video creation skills to bring the story board to life.

Anyone want to help???

I have been contacted by Cryptsy regarding the movement of the CBX under their control. These funds have been moved to a secure address and are still safe and locked away as they have been for the several months Cryptsy has been closed. Below is the note from Mullick.

I saw some people worrying about the coins being moved by Paul.

The coins were not moved by Paul. They were moved by me under order of the receiver to a secure wallet.

I don't want to get involved on the forums but since we have a history I thought I would let you know there is no need to worry about Paul dumping any CBX.

I have been having problems with the Android vault. Whenever I try to make a transaction to my Windows wallet so I can stake, I get the error "transaction rejected by the blockchain". Why is this happening? Also, I tried to export my android wallet, got the private keys, but when I try to import them into my Window wallet, I get this:

Help!

Yup, just found out about this problem myself.  I have brought this to the attention of the Dev who created the Mobile Vault; as for your case, the good news from personal experience is you can try sending CBX later and it will work.
Tried a few hours ago, and I still get the "transaction rejected by the blockchain" error. Or did you mean importing the keys? I haven't tried importing them again, but will it really matter? This is really annoying - should have downloaded the windows vault from the start but I didn't want to sync.

I have a note out to the mobile wallet dev. I would think the private key importing would work...

I will let you know when mobile is operational again, sorry.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but my hard disk has decided to give up right at the moment when I am supposed to send all payments to CBX signature promotion participants.

Signature and WBIP payments will be made as mentioned in the OP as soon as I fix my hard drive situation; actually I will extend the current pay level 1 extra day instead of further lowering it.

CBX is a great coin, let's all work together to make it happen...

So campaign winding down or payment stopped?

I was hoping to join the signature campaign eventually.

Temporarily stopped due to him having issues with his hard drive so no need to worry.

Not stopped, just payment is delayed due to technical issues.

I have 8-10 active connection. I kept my wallet running for almost 16 hours after successfull bootstrap installation and I think I am stuck at 99.80% for last 4 hours. Is it normal ?

No, its not, something went wrong with your blockchain. Using the Bootstrap it should take like from 20 minutes to one hour to sync completely, and the progression should remain constant throughout this.

I suggest you reload the decompressed Bootstrap files; delete everything in the cryptobullion folder but keep wallet.dat naturally, (if anything, make a backup of that file)... like I said syncing from Bootstrap should not take a long time; it is pretty recent.

If you still have the compressed bootstrap on your computer, decompress it once more starting from .zip file; I would not re-download it again though.

Sync time is dependent on Internet connection. I have a connection at home that is so bad it takes hours to sync for just a couple of days of missed activity. He may have a bad connection and his sync time will just be slow as a result of that.

Make sure the block count isn't progressing as your first step because you may just have a bad internet connection. Then closing and reopening your Vault should be your second step. If still stuck, go with the new bootstrap. Let us know how it goes please...

Hi all! And POSP generally works? And in the console command and threw the wallet unblocked-no changes are happening!? Huh

PoSP works by taking the yearly planned growth in money supply and rewarding it among only active stakers. Those who are not actively staking their CBX forfeit their potential stake rewards to those that are staking. Typical results are 8-10% yearly interest for those that are staking consistently while the money supply growth stays stable at 2% per year.

To earn PoSP rewards, purchase CBX (the more you have the more often you will earn block rewards), unlock you Vault and wait. After 1 hour your bullion are eligible and will start competing for PoSP blocks.

Are people having trouble connecting to the network?

I don't understand why all the talk of adding nodes. Anyway, if you do want addnodes (or anything else related to your CBX Vault) do not trust random people. Look at who's post you are reading, are they on the CBX team, are they a frequent poster or are they a newbie that is posting for the first time? If they are a newbie, first time poster, be cautious and wait for confirmation on the information they provide.

This 2c0de guy is a new account on bitcointalk, this is his first post on our thread and the posts immediately following his say that the nodes he provided are bad.

Don't use them, use the ones Alex4j provided. He is the lead developer of CBX.

Please be careful guys and girls.

Merchant Project W.A., Week Three

Valued CBX at .000450 for this week’s purchases. Have over 2,000 CBX worth of buy-wall in place.
We’re still figuring out how the CBX taken will be held/traded/sold/cashed in.

Sent 1,000 CBX to our dev.

Mark

Wow! We need to figure out how to replicate this worldwide. Any volunteers to represent their territory and follow the tutaledge of IMZ?

I just posted in r/bitcoin over on Reddit to suggest PoSP as a solution for Bitcoin's centralization problem. Sadly Bitcoin may be too big to reach a consensus for this change but imo change needs to happen or Bitcoin will be surpassed by another coin which stays true to decentralization.

If you guys want to read the post, please check it out and participation in the thread is encouraged. The more discussion, the more visibility.

IMZ, thanks for stopping by the post and participating, the support is appreciated!

If others have a chance to go by and give it a read and possibly participate, I welcome you. This can be a good opportunity to get CBX and PoSP exposed to a much broader audience.

Also, do we have any redditors in the community? We have a subreddit but needs a manager to keep it updated and grow it with the Reddit audience.
