321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TIMEREUM (TME): ADDITIONAL ADDRESS PAIR BIDDING/SALE CLOSED on: August 31, 2017, 02:49:57 PM
I think cryptopia can be a good option for Tme.
are u serious ? TME listed cryptopia ?

Pray tell, what is wrong with Cryptopia? It's way ahead of TME's previous exchange, Nova, and is fairly cheap to get listed on.

I think we need a listed on livecoin, it be a better exchange, there are bold investors

I'm guessing you have 4 BTC to pay for that listing. Can't wait.

If US residents aren't allowed, then claims of anonymous account creation are false.

You might wanna read their response to that question which has been asked before. And IIRC, you posted on that same page.

Why, did they edit their response?

"Why"? Is that a serious question?

Are you saying that my statement is factually incorrect?  "If US residents aren't allowed, then claims of anonymous account creation are false."

It's a non-sequitur. Anonymity doesn't automagically imply your location is unknown.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello Everyone on: August 31, 2017, 01:21:51 AM
90% initially distributed? Sounds intense... Not sure if that would end the best for everyone. I'm looking forward to hearing more from the Dev soon. Have any other coins done such a high percentage to give out at start too? I know Airdrop is the new thing catching on but man

ByteBall, GBYTE to specific, is 99% distributed in an ongoing airdrop that started in December last year and it's doing quite well or it was - BTC's rise isn't doing it any favors tbh.

I just realized it now that the main thread was deleted. I'll be back soon. I'll sort it out.

You haven't posted any update for a while but I noticed you've been online less than 24 hours ago. Will the thread be reopened? Are you creating a new one or two?
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] WCX – Low-Cost Crypto Exchange built by Apple & Wall St team on: August 30, 2017, 10:18:46 PM
How about US citizens? whether the ICO is available for them? Any news about the social media campaign? When it starts?

It should be, since it's anonymous account creation and no fiat is used in the transaction.

If US residents aren't allowed, then claims of anonymous account creation are false.

You might wanna read their response to that question which has been asked before. And IIRC, you posted on that same page.

Hi guys!

Can you please help me!

You can help yourself by reading the previous pages.

I cant find information about team (career, pictures, experiences...).
Its very weird that they dont exist. Therefore, there are unnecessary doubts and mistrust.

A very poor internet site, some of the worst that my eyes have ever seen.

I think your eyes play a huge part in that error.

No progress in the last month.
So, I dont trust in this project and for me, with a lack of important information a month before ICO, looks like a scam.

Except for Fran Strajnar becoming the escrow, the referral program being reinstated, the beta (now alpha apparently) program being closed, the... you get the point. "No progress" indeed.  Roll Eyes
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: August 29, 2017, 10:27:02 PM
Byteball in a nice uptrend at the moment.
Looking forward to this next airdrop and the many others to come now that the airdrop has effectively been extended by the reduced payouts to BTC holders.
Doubt we will see much of a dump after this one.

Well it was then BTC rose another ~$300 and it's almost back down to where I bought 3 or so days ago. It seems I was wrong to think the promise of a free airdrop for held GB was enough incentive for more than a few BTC holders to convert their crypto to GB this time.  Sad

But we're still a week away so GB could still hit my "at least $500" prediction.

327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TIMEREUM (TME): ADDITIONAL ADDRESS PAIR BIDDING/SALE NOW OPEN (183 SPOTS) on: August 29, 2017, 04:53:48 AM
how the extra address sales going? do we have aby new update from DEVs? anything doing good so far?
sorry to hear some of your TME that stuck in NOVA exchanges. hopefully you'll will get it back soon.
keep it up the good work team devs Smiley

As you can see from the Ann 183 addresses are left. I want to ask what makes TME token different from Chronologic ICO since both are coming from the genesis blocks

Other than use case, TME seems to be older; Chrono's BCT thread is July 28th and TME's is July 10th so take from that what you will. Chronologic's marketing is more accurate IMO. TME's claim that it's the "first manually mined" token doesn't make much sense and should be "first time-mined token" or something like that.

I have, and I know one other person here says he has. Perhaps unsurprisingly, he doesn't have the nicest words about BCT as a whole.

Who do you mean with "he"? Fran Strajnar?
Did he respond, and what did he say?

Which other "he" was the focus of your post I was responding to? Satoshi? Vitalik? Huh Try reading the post again, and with comprehension this time. You've clearly shown yourself capable of throwing out questions just for the sake of it so channel that energy into reading.

Unless this 'Fran Strajnar' posts here or on another public channel confirming his ties to WCX this is completely worthless and not a proof at all. I have not seen any post by 'Fran Strajnar' about WCX whatsoever. Link me to it.

I've been interested in WCX from day 1 it was posted here. Not convinced about its ICO though for obvious reasons.

What exactly is stopping you from contacting him yourself, perhaps by email? If and when you get around to doing that, ask him his opinion about BCT as a whole, that may tell you why his post may be missing from here.

And ICYMI, whether or not you're convinced is totally irrelevant to me.

I don't see why I should be doing this, this is WCX job of course. You can't just post an escrow without any confirmation of that particular person, doesn't make any sene.

I'd be stunned if more than a few alt accounts of some people here wouldn't be screaming "Photoshopped!!!"/"Fake!!!" if WCX posted a statement from Fran confirming himself as an escrow.

I am only wondering if there will be a sale of 200 genesis address again, why can the dev do that?
If this will be the case, can he make and make genesis addresses of this coin, thus creating money on thin air?

These addresses will be added to the new smart contract and there will be no more restarts.

P.S.
Project MNE 2.0 starts selling the genesis of addresses on an ongoing basis. Why do you think?
But is there a guarantee on that, there will be no more restarts? I dont attack TME..i just dont want it to be a scam project that you might pull off.

You have nothing to worry about, I highly doubt this is a scam project. The Dev has been very active on here and working hard to ensure this project is a success. We just have to be patient, this project won't be finished over night. Give it a few months and just lay back and enjoy the ride.

I dont want this project to turn out to be a scam as well, but what the dev is doing collecting eth being anonymous is a red flag for me.

I've been thinking about that too. Admittedly the amount that'll be raised is far, far less than what most ICOs raise but still, there's nothing stopping the dev from vanishing after all the spots have been bought.

If you're in the same boat as me and did not take out your TME from Nova in time I think your screwed. Here's the response I got from NOVAEXCHANGE of when the coin will be fixed.

"Hi there.

Thank you for contacting us. TME has been very unstable as a coin and the transactions were taking a lot of time. The coin has no supporters

So what does Nova think were the 250 people that voted for it to be listed? Ghosts?

and its volume hasn't overcome 0.2 BTC for more than three (3) weeks.

It's one thing to lie but it's another to come up with a demonstrably false lie, repeat, demonstrably false:

Those figures are from CMC and they show that not only did TME overcome 0.2 BTC trading volume, but, it never fell below 4 BTC until its last day.

Friends project real or Scam? a lot of bad reviews

Imo absolute scam.

Neither you nor anyone else here has managed to provide a sliver of evidence to back that claim. ICYMI, continuously flinging poop hoping one sticks is not evidence, at all.

Like I predicted, that thread has been deleted. I tried to get people to delete their usernames from their posts but it was too late. Maybe this is a chance to create a new one with a more enticing title, no?

What this mean? Why it deleted? This mean full project of this guy is closed?
Please explain.

People were posting the liteshares.net account details in the thread rather than PM'ing it to him like he asked them to in the OP. As you may be aware, posting your details in a thread for an "giveaway" in that sub-forum is against the rules and will get your thread deleted/locked and you/OP suspended/banned.

HitBTC is also charging 6BTC per currency pair for 6 months listing and 10 BTC for 12 month listing.
which is outrageous and i wont believe why is this when they already earn on each trade.

They gotta be kidding me lol.

Exactly. It seems these small exchanges are overestimating their worth if that price is true. Livecoin dares to charge 4 BTC.

Quote
Why would anyone pay them so much if they can get listed on bittrex for just 5BTC?

It's actually lower than that, much lower - ~1.158749 BTC. And that is if they deem it necessary to have a "compliance review".

That's all market prices for listing. "Small exchanges" have pretty big volume compared to older times.

Their "big volume" notwithstanding, Bittrex will run circles around most of them combined so it's hardly a comparison.

Quote
Just take a look how many coins did Polo and Bittrex add out of many many multi million projects on crypto scene.

I doubt a lot of people fancy being added on Polo nowadays. As for Bittrex, I'm yet to see a list of rejected "multi million projects" that applied.

To all the guys who thinks that it's so easy to list on Bittrex.

It's completely unrealistic to get listed on Bittrex with a small project (Timereum is small project for now). Bittrex do not list a coin after they pay them, take a look of the latest listed coins. I'm sure many projects can gladly pay 15/50/whatever BTC to get listed there, but it's not easy at all.

We need to start with Cryptopia and maybe with livecoin, it's more than enough.

You're claiming it's unrealistic without much substance. As for the price, I've posted that numerous times -  ~1.158749 BTC. If you want to waste 4 BTC on an obscure, really obscure exchange, good luck.

339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello Everyone on: August 27, 2017, 09:06:28 AM
Hello,

I'm going to create a new blockchain called LiteShares (LTS). It is based on BitShares.
I am going to distribute 90% of the tokens for free.

I'm preparing everything now and it will be up in a few days.
Also, there will be an asset that will be distributed aside from LTS.
It will be for an EOS clone in the future.

Basically those who will join will get 2 coins of the same amount.
One for LTS and one for a future EOS clone.
This is all for free.

Let me know of your feedback.
I love programming and I love C++ and I love BitShares.
This is why I'm doing this.
I want to start my own blockchain and I want to clone EOS because it's a bit expensive right now Sad

Well goodluck with that. If you really plan on continuing why not create an announcement thread days from now on services(altcoins)? I suggest you dont distribute 90% of the tokens for free lessen the percentage because for sure your coin wont even reach the heights of 10 satoshi price if you do that. Maybe you could lessen it to about 30% and just give those 30% of those coins via bounty. That way it would be better.

This is the thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2062287

Also, 10,000 members can take a while so I can also give bounties. I intend to give everything one way or another.

Like I predicted, that thread has been deleted. I tried to get people to delete their usernames from their posts but it was too late. Maybe this is a chance to create a new one with a more enticing title, no?

From the updated OP:

Hello Bitcointalk!

We're excited to announce WCX, a new crypto exchange set to launch on 10.10.17.
ICO Escrow

[-- snip --]
Fran Strajnar is WCX's lead escrow manager. Fran is the CEO of BraveNewCoin and co-founder and director at BlockchainLabs. He has ensured escrow and presale services for some of the world's largest ICOs, including MobileGo, Bancor, SaltLending, and Incent.

[-- snip --]

That should be clear enough for any new FUDding alts and the genuinely, though rare, concerned lurkers/posters.
