Here are some updates!

WCX Job Openings

WCX is hiring experienced community managers and customer support managers in 9 different languages. Think you qualify? Submit your application here.

Private Alpha launches on Sep 1st

WCX will launch to a private group of early users on Friday, Sep 1st. If you haven't yet signed up for the WCX Alpha, you can do so here. Information about our team and partners is expected to be released ahead of the Alpha launch. A sneak peek of the order form UI was published on Twitter here.

@wcxofficial Why have you deleted the reference to Fran Strajnar as your "lead escrow manager"? Fancy word, but can you back it up? Do you have a statement from him confirming that he will escrow for you? Where on your website does it actually state the rules for the escrow? Correct, nowhere.

Where did they delete it from?

Quote
Guys has anyone actually asked Strajnar if what they claim is true? Don't invest until we see the alpha (former beta). Don't let them fomo you with a "pre-sale" with limited spots and stuff like that! Be vigilant.

I have, and I know one other person here says he has. Perhaps unsurprisingly, he doesn't have the nicest words about BCT as a whole.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TIMEREUM (TME): ADDITIONAL ADDRESS PAIR BIDDING/SALE NOW OPEN (183 SPOTS) on: August 26, 2017, 10:58:48 PM
HitBTC is also charging 6BTC per currency pair for 6 months listing and 10 BTC for 12 month listing.
which is outrageous and i wont believe why is this when they already earn on each trade.

What?! Where did you see those massively outrageous prices? When I went searching for how to get listed there I didn't stumble upon any thing about paying a fee much less an outrageous fee like that. Care to drop a link?
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TIMEREUM (TME): ADDITIONAL ADDRESS PAIR SALE NOW OPEN (200 SPOTS) on: August 26, 2017, 09:52:38 PM
Bidding: Remaining Address Pairs

To raise additional funds for Livecoin and Cryptopia, the remaining 183 additional address pairs will go to the highest bidder(s).
To reserve any number of address pairs:

Email timereum@gmail.com with the following information:

1. How many pairs you are bidding on.
2. Price per address pair in ETH.
3. A list of child and parent pairs.
[ -- snip --]

Um, why are you still looking to getting listed on Livecoin which, IIRC, costs 4 BTC which is > 3x Bittrex's "compliance fee"? You're selling 200 additional genesis address at 0.75 Eth and as I type this, using Bittrex's prices, that's:

-> $249.306424 * 200 = $49,861.2848

That's more than enough to get listed on Bittrex, Binance and if you really want to, Kraken the dud and Polo scam. Those are more than enough so I don't see why you want to pay $17,343.992041 to some rather obscure exchange.

https://whaleclub.co
Whaleclub.co
(Whaleclub CRYPTOCURRENCIES FOREX METALS STOCKS BONDS)

https://wcex.co
Wcex.co
(Whale club Exchange)

Neither you nor your gintrux alt have been able to provide evidence for this.

Quote
nothing wrong with this in the first place

BUT! the way they hide this seems like:

69.5 BTC

maybe the Apple & Wall Street Team are also the owners of Whaleclub. yes could be.
why is it though that they r trying to hide their Whaleclub roots ?
why is it that they r trying to hide team members but collect a lot of crypto at the same time ?

PS
if you think Whaleclub and Wcx are not the same.
start and view source of the two websites they use the exact same engine and layouts __meteor-css__
.
If you take 10 min or so dig a bit ,anyone investing should be doing this anyway you will quickly find Whaleclub

So every bootstrap/react/vue/angular/etc. site is owned by the same person, right? Nice one.  Roll Eyes

And what about the old genesis addresses that have not yet been fully used, and with coins that already exist?

They will transition seamlessly into the new contract.

So... old holders needn't do anything with new contract... only wait and all our TME will swap into TME2 and unused batches will be on new contract with the same address pair we have in old contract?

Yes, he has clarified that that is the case 5 or so times already. Just scroll up or check the last two pages if you didn't see it.

ICYMI, this is not the Russian thread (assuming that's Russian). I'm guessing they do have a Russian thread so you'll have a better chance of getting your point across if you go there.

Genesis Address Sale

Spots for 200 new genesis pairs will be sold, each for .75 Ether.

You can reserve multiple spots beginning now.

The placement of 200 additional address pairs into the genesis list will facilitate certain essential plans moving forward.

The funds from this sale will be used for the following:

Placement of “TME 2.0” on Livecoin, Cryptopia and many other exchanges. Submission to all of these exchanges will take place within days of the new contract going live. This will create greater liquidity and higher publicity for TME.

2. Developer costs, from both early TME deployment to development until the end of the year.

To reserve a Genesis address pair:

1. Send an email to timereum@gmail.com with the two addresses you would like to add (one parent, one child).
2. We will respond with a number (1-200) for your reserved spot.
3. You will then have 24 hours to transfer .75 Ether to the developer Ethereum address:

0x85196Da9269B24bDf5FfD2624ABB387fcA05382B

Payment is due before this time from either the child or parent address you provide.

4. After transfer, send an email containing the transaction hash so the developers can verify your purchase.
5. Your address pair will be confirmed on the publicly accessible additional genesis list (a shared document). A confirmation email will be sent to you.

List:

Additional Genesis List

6. Your address pair will be hard coded into the “TME 2.0” contract. Thus there will be at maximum 4058 final address pairs.

You may also reserve a spot with the same workflow via Bitcointalk PM.

This is an interesting change, and I like it. Good one.

Disclaimer:

The developers have and will continue to work hard to deliver a seamless streamlined product. However, the Developers are not responsible for any anomalies in the software or network moving forward.

Anyone is free to correct me but I'm certain this is the first time you've used "developers". How many are "the developers"?

All tests went as planned. Working out some logistics. More details tomorrow.
[...]

Good to know.

Just an update. I managed to get in contact with Binance to find out their fees and while they did update their article - Listing a Coin on Binance.com - in response to my request, they had this to say about the actual fee:

[I think we need to hold off on listing the coin until it's stable and compatable with exchanges , and then we can contact nova to re-list Tme.]

- Fix your post
- Look at the bolded, non-red part

Nova is nice, sort of, but we should be looking to other, more notable exchanges for when TME's issues are fixed.

What do you have that's linking those names, and whaleclub, to wcex?

The webdesign is exactly the same in whaleclub.co and wcex.co. I contacted whaleclub and they said they have no affiliation with wcx, so that's ultra suspicious

Did you forget to log in to your "ZhuldyzKaladinova" account?

The mechanism of the white ball is very interesting, the distribution is also very interesting way, I am very optimistic, I will hold a part

Um, white ball? Really? How did you manage to make such a mistake when it's right there in the title of the thread?  Huh

Interesting. How are wcx and whaleclub related?
nobody knows yet because they havent announced it
im sure they will
look they have been trying to be more transparent already

Um, didn't you just claim a relationship between the two of them in your above post?

thats right. well im not the one to explain whats going on here obviously.

You've got that backwards actually and that should be obvious.

It hurts me, but I urgently sell 12500 TME to 0.0001 Eth. Write in PM.

Did you have 10 Genesis addresses or How do you get 12500TME tokens when the mineable tokens for now is 1280 tokens per batch.

i still don't know how to make it work.

maybe you read here
http://timereum.com/Website/Examples/TMEBatchScenarios.pdf

Can you, or anyone else, remember the date the contract went online?
355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's The Minimum Investment? on: August 23, 2017, 11:09:18 AM
If you're looking to make any sort of profit from cryptocurrency and you're just starting out, what do you think is the minimum starting investment you ought to put into it?

Yes, I know "you should only put in what you're willing to lose" but surely there should be a barest minimum, right?

EDIT: If you don't mind sharing, how much did you start with?
nothing minimum, it's all depends on what you have to do the invesment, more invesment you do, more profit you gain Grin
The better thing to answer your question! Minimum for everyone is different. You trade as much as you can afford to loss in start. It totally depends on you how much you can risk at and how much you can’t as starter. So determine that middle amount and trading.

But you're forgetting the fact that most crypto services have fees and minimums attached to them. Whether it's withdrawal/deposit fees, minimum deposits/withdrawals or minimum trades.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TIMEREUM (TME): First manually mined smart contract token. on: August 23, 2017, 10:31:46 AM
Great job getting Timereum on the C-CEX voting list. If Timereum can get listed on C-CEX it will be a good start.

They choose 1 winner every 2 weeks. And you need a lot of votes + probably BTC dontation to win the race just before they decide a winner.
In terms of BTC investment, Cryptopia is a much better choice IMO. It will take forever for FREE listing on C-CEX...

I agree with you. Cryptopia or coinexchange.io are currently the best options.

HitBTC and ShapeShift are currently the best options. AFAIK, it's free to get listed on either of them, literally free.

You really don't see GB surpassing $1.5K in the next 5 years?
That wouldn't mirror the 10k BTC for two pizzas.

Oh, I didn't notice the price he bought it in GB.

Quote
Hasn't Bitfinex stopped acceepting US residents? Maybe the number of ByteBallers in the US is insignificant but I doubt it.
It has, but that doesn't really matter.

OK then. It's just that Bittrex is already a pretty big exchange and, based on most new coins I've seen advertised on this forum, where they aspire to end up on.

Quote
That aside, shouldn't the 10% reduction in GB received for linking BTC addresses in the upcoming airdrop be enough incentive for people to convert their BTC to GB?
Nothing is an incentive to convert BTC to any altcoin. That's like stabbing yourself in the foot.

To each their own then.

Quote
I'd rather want an direct fiat option to buy GB.

Well there is an option and I believe it's been there for quite a while, it's just ~47% more expensive than on Bittrex.

BTW, that's the price excluding fees.

Thank you.

You might very well be wasting your time. Go back a few pages and check for a link I posted to their Google Form for fixing email/eth address issues.

did you end up changing your address? i scrolled back a few pages and couldnt find your link?

Yes I did. Took me a while but I found the link - here. Now, I'm not sure if it did anything as all my emails to Liza (the ACT admin) who sent me the link has gone unanswered but it's worth a try.

Remember btc pizza?

No we have first pizza order paid with Gbyte. Delivered in UK paid by user from Germany.
Just to clear things up, user @saintflow from slack is from germany and he paid for my pizza which was delivered in UK

I paid @saintflow with gbyte to get things done.
That is pretty cool. The community should organize itself until there are merchants accepting Byteball.

In 5 years I hope this mirrors the first pizza bought with bitcoin  Grin Grin
That is beyond wishful thinking.

You really don't see GB surpassing $1.5K in the next 5 years?

Quote
I think Byteball is great long / mid term buy in the current price range. IOTA hype will let it fly.
Surprisingly, the superior of the two is inferior price wise. The whole IOTA project is quite shady, although Byteball would surely *catch up* if it got added to an exchange such as Bitfinex.

Hasn't Bitfinex stopped acceepting US residents? Maybe the number of ByteBallers in the US is insignificant but I doubt it.
