All my savings are currently in BTC and all I can safe in future will go into BTC as well.
I will NEVER return my money into a bank. I have no any intention to ask 3 to 5 days before a large cash-out, to pay taxes when I do receive MY money into "my" bank account, to pay taxes to STORE MY money in "my" bank account, to pay taxes to use their terrible internet banking to operate with MY money, to pay additional taxes for various transactions, to pay ridiculous fees for every paypal transaction and/or withdrawal, to wait a week for approval on a large transactions..
I have no any intention to get surprised one day with a bank account locked without notice; with transaction blocked by some reason, with funds frozen because some someone decided the origin is "unclear"..
NEVER AGAIN!
I do not care if the price of BTC goes to $1 or ¢1, it`s enough if I will be able to operate with it for every single purchase and for all of my needs. Untill that day comes I will never return MY money into a bank! If all I have become to a value of ¢1, it`s fine! I will have MY ¢1 FOR REAL, instead of unclear value is someone else`s bank system, created in order fiat owners to make more fiat only because they already have fiat.
If you have guts to hold your bitcoin in a long time, then you should not withdraw it. I also prefer to store my money in bitcoins than in banks because I now that I can beat inflation through storing my money on bitcoins than in bank. |

What is HODL? The very first time the term HODL appeared on the Bitcoin talk forum was in 2013 and came from a member named GameKyuubi under the thread “I AM HODLING”. From the look of the post, he was drunk and wanted to convey the fact that he was holding his BTC despite the serious fall that had just happened. So let's cut now the history of the term. Well I want to share to you my perspective about the HODL strategy, We were all a newbie once in everything like the cryptocurrency, trading, mining, investing, etc. Most of us chooses the path of being a trader either a full time/part time, day trading/long term holding. Most of us experienced the markets bears and bulls and as a newbie we're seeking for a right answer and most of the answer we've got from different peoples, articles and videos online is the term "HODL" and they said that it is the best way to do whenever there's a bear market, is it the right thing to do? At first I believe in that saying because I don't have any knowledge about cryptos but after being having an experience in this forum, trading and investing to ICO's I just realized that it's not always the best way or the best strategy in cryptocurrency industry, in my case whenever there's a bear market I am analyzing the market and there's a time that we need to cut our loses and study different cryptos in the market wherein we can take advantage and earn more rather than waiting for a long time until the market recovers. Well, the only disadvantages I've seen so far is that if your analyzation is wrong and you've invested to a wrong coin. Just like what I've said not all the time HODL is the best, we should consider other strategies as well. This is all according to my own perspective and opinion, I would be glad if you will give yours  Hodl is a long term investment strategy that is only effective for the coins that have potential in the market. Most of the holders loses their 98% of their investment because of holding a wrong crypto. |

I'm trying to research and study as much I can, but i have problems in finding good books/articles/whatever that explain the principles of economics and trading, very important if u want to learn about coins in general. I searched in the forum but i didn't find anything like that (but a lot of other useful articles)...so can you help me? I would really appreciate a "newbie tutorial for economics/trading" if it exist Newbies can get many information in this forum. When I was newbie, I always reading different post in this forum and it helps me to understand more the economics and also trading of cryptocurrency. I think majority of people here are very selfish ,. Believe it or not. They are hiding and choose not to tell to the other person especially to their neighbors what is cryptocurrency all about.
They don't want to spread the mechanism of it. And that is very wrong for me.
We must encourage people who have no idea to the cryptos. Teach them how to use and explain what is the benefits of it.
This is also for the good of our industry .
Remember the status of cryptocurrencies as of now is endangered and the value of bitcoins is gradually dropping .
So, the good thing to do is to spread out the operation of Blockchain technology.
I keep promoting the blockchain technology to my friends and classmates because for them to earn opportunities and benefits through using it. The blockchain technology is now currently helping our economy to become better. |

This year I didn't get that much profits only thing I did was holding my investments , I hope all my patience will pay off next year and there will be bull market and I make more profits  many investors are in same hope only ?? I would like to know what you guys think about next year, There is only little movement in the cryptocurrency market and we can't still determine if the market will become bull again. I know that the market will recover but it takes time. |

HODL is the best option now for all my altcoins. I will keep Hodling till the bearish market is over. Everyone was thinking that bull run will start toward the end of the year, instead, there is a consistent reduction in price. Let keep hodling next year will get better for everyone.

If it is bitcoin, then you should take away the doubt that you have. You can ensure that your decision is wise because bitcoin has potential to recover its price. Hodl strategy is only effective to the coin that are promising and worth it. |

We should avoid to become a greedy person. We can make many mistakes if we will continue to become a greedy person. There are many people who experiencing losses because of their greediness.

Always remember that not all of altcoins are profitable. There are only some altcoins that are good in investment. It is now hard to find a altcoins that have potential because most of altcoins can now be considered as worthless.

indeed the current value of Bitcoin is very far different from the end of years 2017 ago and this is currently the worst decline ever. some people have started to not believe in Bitcoin and say Bitcoin will die. I think this not will continue again because the bear market is over and I'm sure Bitcoin will return to its highest value it again.
Yes the price of bitcoin falls does not mean that bitcoin will die just because it loses its value, for those who assume bitcoin will die they only spill their disappointment about the crypto market, maybe. But we can see that the market is slowly increasing, I hope this increase will continue to make many people regret bitcoin for leaving it. There are many people are worrying because of the abnormal movement of the bitcoin in the market. The price of the bitcoin is still down but it is not a mean that it will die because of it. Do not promote it if people are not interested to learn about bitcoin because for sure that they will only make fun of you. Before I promote bitcoin to my friends, I first asking them if they are interested to learn what is bitcoin. There are many worthless ICO, most of the teams of ICO are trash because they are not improving their products and they are only focusing to gain profit. We can't ensure if we will gain profit from investing in ICOs because of the high risks that we are going to face.

Same thing happened around 2013 to 2015, the price went high and dropped. Then later it started to go up a bit and in 2017 it got the bull run and price went high again.
So if history is trying to repeat itself the same way again, then there is nothing wrong with it, cause we are already sure that after all this the price will still go up. The problem with some people is that they lack patience. If you’re going to invest in cryptocurrency, then you better have patience and stop ranting about price fall.
History is not repeating itself, we repeat history. As you say that there are now many times that the value of bitcoin dropped so much but it regain its normal value because the demand of the people to bitcoin increased. I am sure that it is part of a cycle and we can see the growth of the bitcoin in the following months. |

Just adjust and adjust until you feel comfortable for you to stop your loss. You will keep losing if you will continue your old strategy. Try find other way where can help you to regain your capital. The market will not easily back to normal, we should really adjust for us to survive while the bear market is occurring.

I am a day trader and before I entered in trading of cryptocurrencies I realized that we should know how to analyze a specif graph for us to know if the price will go up or go down. It is hard because it requires a lot of time to study and to analyze the movement of the coin.

Bitcoin and blockchain are awesome technology but it is being most used in gambling , betting , casino, all bad fields is this what making many countries step back making bitcoin and blockchain tech making legal or creating negative impressions for people using this technology
You are wrong, there are many users of the blockchain technology that have good intention to use it properly. It is true that there are people who using blockchain technologt in a bad way but I am sure that there are only few of them. |

Not only positice effect because there is also negative feedback that I saw about promotion of bitcoin in facebook. There is a misconception that are forming to the mind of some users and they are now think that bitcoin is using for illegal and bad ways.
