Sorry for being an ass again but 48 hours have passed and still no reply to my e-mail.

I bought for 14 btc worth LTCD since yesterday now.

that's a lot! thats a serious confidence ! wow many just talk like me
I bought it at very good price, like now.I think i just can win!
Have you tried boosting the value by buying higher bids step by step, maybe?

I am not a trading expert, and dont know how to do that,i just bought at 1000 and 1300 sat
You don't need to be expert to do that. It's easy. Basically, if for example they asking bid is 0.00001100 btc then you set the price of your buy to 0.00001125. Of course it's more than asked so theoretically you lose a bit but it increases the currency's bidding value. So if you keep doing that step by step increasing with each buy then the price of currency will grow. Important is to buy quite a lot, at least 5000ltcd with each buy every 2-3mins. Progressively increasing 0.00001025, 0.00001050, 0.00001075, 0.00001100, 0.00001125 etc :-)
I did it yesterday starting from 0.00000850 and ended up at about 0.00001100. It worked ;-)

tnx , i didnt know that.i bought for 14 btc yesterday till now.i should have made that

That wasn't explained quite right... Well it was misleading. If you bought at the 'sell price' instead of setting a lower bid, you were doing the same thing as was described. If the sell price is 0.00001100 for 5,000 coins and you set a price of 0.00001125 to buy those 5,000 coins, you still only pay the 0.00001100 per coin being asked. The main idea though is to buy at the asked price instead of setting a lower buy order which will wipe out the lower sell orders and, in turn, force the price up as long as someone doesn't set a lower sell order again. If you invested 14 btc I'm sure you have helped push the price up, even if unintentional, if you were purchasing from the sell order side of the book.

Yes you are right. He did help if he didn't ask for lower.

Anyhow, you may be right that my method may have not worked. Because of some reason the value has increased singinficantly when I did that. Maybe becasue I did not let the bid stay at the same value all teh time and go down. I don't know.

Whatever it is, can you guys sort it out privately?

Back to the logo... Smiley

He, exactly started it by sending me harassing msgs (I posted screenshots with pages ago). I'm sorry but it's not possible to intelligently communicate with this person as it's self evident from the msgs and his attacks directed at different people in this forum.

I've been working with many people with similiar behaviour for many years (working with people with variety of psychological/mental/cognitive disorders and differences) and my experience seems to bring me to the coclusion that:
It seems to me that this person has little contol over his thought process and emotions. He tends to provoke people in an attempt to bring some emotional reaction. He has been using most of methods which emotionally unstable people tend to use such as: Psychological Projection, indirect aggression, verbal manipulation-provocation etc. He seems to have created some sort of identity around his behaviour to which he is very much attached to and deeply identified with, taking this identity as who he is and being proud of it. He seems to exibit some traits expressed by people with Borderline Personality Disorder mixed with other traits expressed by people with sociopathological tendencies.

I like it as it is :-)

The blue version has won but it wasn't from the orginal designer. So everybody gets a new change to make a redesign. We think is the best option and the most fair for the community.

I have arrived at conclusion that I like it in both colours. Maybe the voting should be in ich final colour this design should settle instead of redesigning it ;-)

Dry up dude. You're the instigator. In all of my messages to you, I was heroicly civilized. In your unshared messages to me, you were a serious dick.

If that 500k LTCD given to charity is truth then it may be a nice way of making up for all the harassment and indirect aggression he has directed ,in his posts and private messages, to many forum members.

yup that stood out the moment you posted it BTCO boy. why only vic's msgs and not yours? show the whole thing!! then try again - or did i miss something?-
All the msgs I posted to him were included as quotations in his replies. If you think otherwise and its not true then he is welcome to upload here (like I did the screenshots) my other allegedly sent messages.

Anyhow, I've got an impression that you two may be buddies or one and the same person

Quick update: I've almost finished with the "bridge node" functionality that will allow us to change the pchMessageStart during a transitional period between 1.1.0-pre1 and 1.1.0 final.  A unique pchMessageStart would have been nice to have from the beginning, but it is nothing that a few minor changes won't fix.  Once this is finished and we have our next update, 1.1.0-pre2, (update will not be mandatory as bridge nodes will accept connections with the current pchMessageStart or the new one) I have a few additional surprises in store.  Nothing major yet, but a few nice little bonus things for the community.

Edit:
Also worthy of note: I fully intend to release statically linked linux binaries (32 and 64 bit) as well as an OSX wallet and proper windows installer for 1.1.0 final.  Please bear with me, I'm still but one man.

Thanks for your patience, everyone.

Grerat :-)

Dear Community,

Tomorrow you will see a brand new Opp, much cleaner, I working hard on it. Also there is a new article online: http://cryptaphex.wordpress.com/2014/09/21/ltcd-double-bottom-8xx-support/
Troll and I spoke today to add a new team member and we found the right person. His task will be marketing, pr and more. Soon I will annouce the new team member. He is already very active in the community.

Keep up the good work communnity and we working hard on new things!

Regards,

LitecoinDark Dev

Great news. It will ease a lot of your work.

By the way, question just out of curiosity :-)

How did you and TrollByFire meet?

A day or two into the coin's life TrollByFire seemed to stumble upon it and took it upon himself to start playing with the code (thank god he did, because it turned out we needed him more than we knew at the time with a difficulty fix!). This was the first instance of Troll I saw in the thread... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=760143.msg8665757#msg8665757

No,  Rob and Troll was together from the beginning. So Troll has been part of Dev from day one,  but since Troll biggest asset is his incredible codingskills he is focused on this. Thats also the reason why Troll was not that active as Rob in here,  Troll was more active on IRC.
The whole Dev team sease LTCD as their child and very serious about it and as they say them self,  this is just the beginning…

Hah yeah, thanks for your replies guys. I am sure about all of these but I only asked how they got to know each other. Thanks for all the info though :-)

It seems that there is someone (or something) on Bittrex, deliberately trying to lower down the value with some pathetic amounts:

those 80's are there already before the drop.(but is a bot im sure). rest i dont know

The same thing with buying orders. It is an obvious bot. It's rigged hahaha :-)

A suggestion for you guys, from what I saw all weekend:

Cryptsy is is the better place to buy it upward. Fewer idiots tend to get in the way (expect quite a few though). Take breaks and let the buying rest (I'd say stop every 10 minutes and rest for a random number of minutes higher than 15) then resume more upward buying. The down time will help you avoid the greedier Trexxers that will try to arb-dump into your buys. My best guess is that those guys don't have the patience to wait a few minutes, and if you just watch - you can watch them fight to cut their own throats trying to undersell each other or frustration-dump into the existing buy-orders.

Yes it seems that I managed to increase on Cryptsy up to 0.00001180 at some point but on Bittrex only to about 0.00001090.

That's probably because not many people trade LTCD on Cryptsy and it has much smaller trading volume in comparison to Bittrex.

I spent a good portion of my personal time pretty much all weekend doing exactly that. Used all of my scrypt mining profits (GHs worth) from Friday thru Sunday to finance it. I still had a sell order for some of those bot coins (to recover some of my expense). I killed the sell so you would not have to eat the same coins I'm already taking a loss on. No need for both of us to pay the price...

Anyhow, if some of my other sells in other coins go through, I'll try to pick up where you have to leave off.

Really, thanks bro.

There is only a limited amount I can afford to buy, of course. I'm gonna stop within next 15-20 minutes. Hopefully someone will keep up the pace.
Fu*k the bot. It cannot be smarter than us...

Thanks.
I've noticed that buying at least 5000 LTCD with each increase make a better impact. With increases of between 0.00000025 to 0.00000050 each buy.
So I started from about 0.00000850 and slowly increased to 0.00001150 each buy.

When I tried buying less than 5000 LTCD it only kept price at the same level without increase.

By the way, I'm currently increasing teh price both on Cryptsy and Bittrex. I'm slowly buying LTCD with higher bids, step by step.
