581  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio - Shipping from stock on: May 26, 2014, 05:37:23 PM
Please, could you guys point me to any feedback about people's experiences with hosting their miners in Spond's datacentre?

Thanks

I have one hosted since April 10th and I am very happy with SP.
They still need to finish the details of the hosting conditions as they are not posted anywhere but so far they are responsive and they offered compensation for a couple downtimes (one planned and another unplanned) we have had so far.

Thanks for reply. I'm considering hosting my SP 30 units to save electricity using free hosting option. Unless there will be possibility to boost the hashing

583  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: May 24, 2014, 04:10:45 PM
@Puppet, you seem to be knowledgeable. Thus my question: Why would anyone want to buy them at $1/GH? The price of a complete miner in stock with half the efficiency?

Where can you buy complete miners in stock for $1/GH? Cheapest seems to be antminer S1 at ~$1.25/GH but also at half the efficiency of HF boards. Spoonsomething is a closer comparison, but they are charging $2/GH for their miners. Regardless, even if market price where only $0.5/GH or a little below that, it still seems like the inventory alone would more than cover the outstanding debt, with the company having the potential to produce a lot more for profit.

Quote
Peppermining, as per allegations, is buying them at $0.38/GH. Unloading 40k chips at that price would make everyone happy, but I don't think it's gonna happen. We need money and to make boards, and we need to make it fast. And we need that trustee, too, fast.  I don't think I will be able to stand to listen to their lawyers lies for long.

If you dont have money, but you do have working chips and a working board design, the solution seems rather obvious; go the asicminer route, and supply chips and license your boards. To be fair to hashfast, that seems to be what they are doing lately.

Spoondoolies-Tech has SP30 August 2nd Batch for $1/GH

or SP10 May Batch for $2/GH

Does 48 hour 5% special offer add up to 10% discount with a proof of purchase from other manufacturers? 15% altogether?
585  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio - Shipping from stock on: May 22, 2014, 07:22:48 PM
Hello,

Is the 10% discount offer for people who purchased from other manufacturers still available for SP30 August 2nd Batch?

For the SP30: Yes, contact sales@spondoolies-tech.com
It's not available for the SP10 anymore

Thanks,

I see there are also no bundle offers anymore is that right?

Black Arrow:

Under recent circumstances causing the delaying delivery of my order #1810 even further, I would like to request the refund.

I have sent requests for the refund and I have also woken up early and tried to call you on few occasions using your english number (at the afternoon hours of Bejing time) but no one has ever picked up the phone. I even tried the Hong Kong number too with no reply whatsoever.

After waiting for very long time, about 2-3 months, I atleast have received my refund for my prospero x-3 trough wire payment. I can guarantee you guys, that minersource is trusted, safe and serious company and that they are issuing refunds, just you might have to wait, until you will get your money back. They sent me back every single penny. A big vouch for them  Cool

Hi did you manage to communicate your refund request with them?

I have never gotten through every time I tried to call them on their english number. I stayed late to adjust the time difference and call them during their working hours. It seems that no one picks up that number.

I'm considering refund now but I'm afraid I may not be able to communicate with them properly at all.

I mean to clarify, I'm pretty sure rokshis got his refund from Minersource, the US reseller.

People who have recently requested refunds from black arrow directly have been told "we cannot refund you because we've already started building the unit."

Welcome to the Queue.
That's just great

The English line is transferred to Hong Kong.  If it's picked up, you'll get someone who doesn't speak English well enough to help you.
That's just great too...

bitching for money.

Christian explained:
we had a tremendous amount of problems, starting from the chip manufacturer till to fake chinese components,
problem during production, problem during SMD, problem during shipping, chip failure rate (40% in the last batch), mtgox failure with a lot of our bitcoins,

what you think ? we are happy to do business in this way ? this dream become a nightmare for everyone of us.
we started this adventure because we was sure to be better than BFL and all the other competitors, but the fact is that doing these miners is not easy.

and now we are flooded by refund request and we are selling all our assets for give back the money to our customers, seems be difficoult for the waiting customers to understand we had paid upfront our suppliers too.
we are working 14h day, 7 day at week for finish all the outstanding.

Start being a man not a chicken from today on.

With ~ 1850 BTC in their wallet ( https://blockchain.info/address/1Cz1pTK8GxsJqdHQrFLWh77WwYsyqyDX3k ) which is currently about ~ 842,900 USD it should not be too hard to start fulfilling refunds, is it?

Check www.bitminerefund.com and you will understand why people chase their money, every day more and more refunds are added on that website. In less then two weeks already more then $ 200,000 in refunds are added.

Remember that 800,000 usd is not very much money. Just 10-20 refunds, each for 1-3 full moduled rigs and half of this money is gone. It's not that easy...

It seems to me that they do the best they can. They actually process all refunds within 4-6 weeks after request. It's not like BFL or HashFast. Make sure you are properly registered by sending scans of your money transfer and scan of your ID altogether with your refund form if you don't want to get delayed. Also, guys who keep posting here about not receiving the refund and response to their mails - obviously as mentioned before there is some problem on their side with receiving our e-mails. They seem to get stuck somwhere so it is better to call. If you really want to receive your refund why won't just call them then and ask what is going on. I have been calling them and speaking personally and have never had any problems. They always picked up the phone and kept me up to date.

read some former pages of this thread and check out this site and you'll notice that they don not refund in 4-6 weeks!
http://www.bitminerefund.com/

Oh yes they do. Most of people just tend to abandon this thread once they get their refunds.
As I said, if you want your refund then CALL THEM not send some messages.

I can not state this. i have called them maybe 10 times in the last 2 weeks.
two weeks ago they said i should recieve it within a few days.
a few days goes along, no refund called them again. they yes we send it. and so on and so on. this goes for days.

on monday support recognized me on the phone. oh mr. blabla, i have your file in front of me. you should recieve the transmission proof within an hour per mail. no mail, no refund.
they lie without pretending to do not so. they do not help you. they just tells so what you want to hear.

If it is so then I'm sorry to hear that. I will call tomorrow and see what they have to say about my request.

Can someone help me. I'm trying to call Bitmine and get answers of where my refund is (currently 49 days after I sent paperwork).

Calling from the US. Dialed 011 41 91 290 90 99

All I get is "the number you have dialed has not been recognized." Anyone know how to call them?

Their number was out of service today I guess, I had the same when dialing from Skype:

Code:
[19/05/14 15:27:07] xxx: Call started
[19/05/14 15:27:07] xxx: Call ended – phone network error
I called them today 4 hours ago and got through without a problem

It's Europe so you have to use country code 0041 or +41 not 01 as for
 USA
Also, as stated on website lines are open Mon-Fri between 10am -12pm and 2pm-4pm. So you need to recalculate your time zone difference

Nothing relevant, just trolls lowering the already impressively low signal to noise ratio Wink
The next relevant event will be their answer to the petition before the end of the month.

Lol thanks for a quick summary :-)

EHmz, i heard that AMY " Marketer of Hashfast"  is not working anymore for Hashfast.

I read this on facebook from amy

Damn. I have some wonderfully supportive friends. I am so touched by all the warm messages I've received from former colleagues. Wow. Thank you everyone. — appreciated.

And reactions like:

Now they also stopped refunding owned money in chips. They said it's because of the filed chapter 7 bankruptcy against them. I don't know what it does have to do with anything.
