It has nothing to do with it. No one is trying to get rich here. We just want to get a product we were promised and for when it was promised. The problem with all pre-order comapnies have been always their LIES, FAILED PROMISES or MANIPULATIONS.

It's not entirely true. If you want profit, that means to "get rich". And when you pre-order, you already have your image of what you're thinking you'll get. A kind of mental plan, or calculation .. not exactly accurate. No one can move that out of your head, and a lot of guys try just that. They tell you pre-ordering is bad, ugly, full of risk. You still pre-order. Then you complain you bought a door-stop. But you don't do anything else. You don't even try to understand what you pre-ordered, You expect to be served with your mental image outcome and ROI _because_ you pre-ordered. You know what? No one forced you to.
No, no one did. I just naively believed once again because I'm f*cking dumb. It's that simple

To be honest , I did not expect from you SP-Tech to wait until the last day of August to start shipping our Gb.

Yeah this whom thing has become a disaster for August GB customers the funny thing is for the large scale and well funded clients like jtoomin, collider and roadstress its been great as they keep telling , of course it was you got to mine pretty much all Aug at 19k diff, by the time we get our miners running in Sept diff wil be near 30k.

So the $500 we saved per machine has already gone poof, you can't tell me if we knew we would get our boxes tho late we would have signed up for this shit.

Even funnier that for all sp tech claims the are all for decentralization and fair mining the screw the little guy just like everyone else.
In the world of bitcoin mining I've come to expect pre-orders to ship at the end of the allocated shipping period.

with one glorious exception-bitmain. They ship on the exact day that they say or EARLIER, which simplifies hosting arrangements if you need them.

That's why from now on I buy from Bitmain. I'm tired of this crap with pre-orders. Every single company I invested in have failed their promises and exploited me: KNC, Hashfast, Black Arrow, Bitmine and now S-T. It's just embarassing for me to admit how stupid I have been.

Your decision came when Bitmain went to 'advanced' order.
Order now, get it in a month, not in 4-5 days as before.
Almost nobody, it seems, is selling from stock anymore, just tube or garden, perhaps.
It's true but considering their record you can be sure they will deliver. Even if you pre-order a month before.
443  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 22, 2014, 12:55:33 AM
That aside, you pre-ordered.  You assumed any and all risks associated with pre-orders, some of which have become reality.  I'd recommend just accepting the situation for the short term and never making the preorder mistake again.

I still don't see what is the problem. You want the miner to mine the ~5k one paid for a GB unit in the 1st 3 months? Mine 45 days and sell it. You'll get your price back overall and something extra. Figure out some cheap hosting or a place with free electricity, make it ROI. Stop expecting it to ROI, because it never will. Advocate BITCOIN instead of complaining here. Get more newbies to BUY the coin and rise the price. Offer services IN BITCOIN. Use the currency more than moving it between the pool you use and your wallet.

I'm sick of people complaining they bought miners, and nobody told them they'll be useless by the time they get them. Why in the world should some one tell them anything about how to succeed with their business, hobbies or investments? You have to brain it out for yourselves .. but yeah .. complaining is more fun. You kill some time and see if you can squeeze something out by waiting .. why would anyone think that they'll get rich just buying things?

Regarding the SP30 compensation, I'm sorry for the delay in our handling of it.
We're extremely busy with the SP30 production.
We'll contact each customer during next week.

Guy
I'm sorry but this is really ludicrous excuse.
What does it have to do with it???
Producing miners is a manual process not intellectual... I don't really see the logic here.
If you had no problem finding time to think what kind of sale offer for SP31 and advertise it then you certainly have had a plenty of time, within last 3 weeks to think about compensation options for October.

As I said, on top of the fact that we have not even had a chance to earn anything from our Group Buy miners yet, we don't know if there is any sense in investing in October batch, because we have no clue what your compensation will offer. This uncertainty forces us to lose early order, queue positions for October batch.
446  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 21, 2014, 11:40:50 AM

If the difficulty will be just a bit better than in your projections then the SP31 is clearly a winner. I can't help noticing that after the so praised ROI the S3 is doing close to nothing, while the SP31 is still doing something. Also I can lower the power efficiency down to 0.58W/GH and doing that will help me earn more money after difficulty reaches 70 billion so getting ROI will be faster than in your projection.

You are forgetting to add in the hosting costs $400/month

Not even in Advania I'm not paying $400/month. My October SP31 will be hosted with jtoomim where I will pay ~$240/month.

Could you post a link to jtoomim website, please?
I'd like to find out more info

...
But +18.5 BTC for RoadStress
...
Most of it was contributed for good causes. Go find the GB and read the OP

I'm not saying anything... He earned it

Btw, wouldn't' it be fair to wait with offering SP31 for sale until you release compenstion offers so we would have a chance to calculate your compensation against possible buy of SP31?
Atm, I don't know if I should invest in SP31 or not, becasue I have got no clue what the compensation is going to include...

Also, me and many have not even had a chance to earn anything yet from my GB units to invest in SP31...
Yeah no shit, we should have got first dibs on any October hardware this is getting ridiculous
I didn't even know Oct hardware was up for sale so even if we are able to put any btc together we will be again at the back of the bus ....niiiice

I'm anticipating S-T answer to this, please...

I guess we will have to wait for the response until late Thursday although someone has been obviously reading our posts, because I had one of my other posts about KNC (I called them cryptoc*nce) deleted just 2 hours after the above post

The actual number of paid GB machines were under 200.
They won't ship last.
We'll compensate for the missing hash-rate, as explained.

Edit:
We're honoring the 250 machines price point although less than 200 were actually paid.

Ok so at least there is some clarification. Thanks
451  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 20, 2014, 03:20:34 AM
EDIT: Just realised that Spond's quoted just now they are making 50-100 units per day

SO how can they ship all 400-1100 units from GB/August batch 2 if they start shipping of the 30th?

please reread - Guy says they will be produced and shipped next week per last post.

Next week means after 25th of August. I do not really understand why they have to wait until last days of the month to build and ship the units if they have capability to build and ship them earlier. That means that in best scenario, people who are at the front of the queue in the Group Buy will get their miners right in the end of August while the rest of people from Group Buy will receive their miners in September. It is just making things even worse for us. They could have made it clearer explaining that "August Batch" may be shipped in the end of the month but real delivery is for September which actually rather makes it "September Batch".

That would also indicate that their supposed October batch could be very likely shipped in the end of October which makes ir rather November batch rather than October batch.

Aslo there are no news about compensation they promised 3 weeks ago. I, also cannot understand why there is such a big deal with announcing this important for us information. Do they have some sort of financial difficulties which make them so undecisive what kind of compensation package they shuld offer to us, so they postpone it as long as they can?

I still think the Spondoolies-Tech is one of the best bitcoin miner producers right now so I wouldn't like them to dissapoint me to exploit my trust by acting in KNC style.

Starting in October, we will compensate you for the differential in hashing power according to each customer's preference. We will contact each and every one of you over the next few weeks to discuss your preferred method of compensation.
Also, 2nd half of August means that your units will ship any day now (though it could be as late as the 28th)

You will therefore get your shipping and tracking information soon, once the unit was shipped.

To my knowledge, spondoolies has never broken any promise in regards to shipping time.

No, they haven't but their vague statement "second half of August" could mean 31st of August which is a bit of piss taking so hopefully it won't be that way...
KNC did that with their 1st Jupiter Batch they promised to start shipping in September 2013. Basically they started shipping one the last day of September as to make up their supposed promise.

Are you guys going to wait with shipping of our August batch by 28th of August?

You mean the August group buy? That was one of the final batches sold in August. Shortly after the group buy closed, Spondoolies switched over to taking orders for September. Many of the other August orders have already shipped.

Yes, the group buy. I've got an order from group buy and we were told tha group buy miners would be shipped in 2nd half of August. Also, we we told we would receive compensation e-mails by mid August.

It's 19th of August and no information and no shipping.

So are we going to get all our money back already or not? :-)

That depends a lot on your definitions of all and already.

An involuntary bankruptcy changes the game significantly.  It is ponderous and slow, but inescapable.  It is really best to answer the trustee's questions honestly and not try to hide assets.  The trustee tries to protect the creditors, but they do not create wealth, only conserve and distribute what still remains.  Generally, the trustee will approve any (legal) plan that both the debtor and creditors approve.

I am not a lawyer, and this opinion could be wrong.

Thanks for reply. Brief and very coherent.

Hopefully the court will arrive at decisions in our favour instead of favour of these silly, selfish, inconsiderate, immature kids who fiddled with our money like toys in the sandpit.

It's not not really about Coincraft chips but I thought it is good to share this info.
There are auctions of Minion chips on Ebay:
