Guys this is just silence before the storm.
We are working like maniacs to bring out new features and the whitepaper for the 2 gen coin.
As soon this news hits the small ears then be ready for take off.
I wrote coindesk today to see if they would like to be the first to break the news, so lets see what happens  (They have BTC colored eyes) and the whole team is ready.
So far we just need you guys to keep the forum alive and shout, while we are working.
Start to twist your heads around the fact that the coin will change its name to bring in mr and ms petersen to the 2 gen coin, but the name has to be stunning and something that even the 12 year old remembers when he starts up his savings in the bank for the first time.... that good !

That sounds very interesting :-)

Although I like the current name but I think it is a good idea. It would differentiate it from current trend of naming coins in "dark" fashion.
As long as it is not some silly name like Dogecoin, Cannabiscoin, HoboNickels etc lol

We would probably need to change the name asap instead of changing it once LTCD is too established.

We would need to be careful when voting for new name, because someone may try to be smart and buy a domain with this name and they try to sell it to you lol

The more exchanges we add the better.
If most of small exchanges add LTCD then it may also convince the larger ones to add it.

Btw, I would recommending moving away from trading on Bitrrex to Cryptsy as Bittrex bot system seems to work against LTCD.

Yea but the volume is so low on Cryptsy.

That's why we have to move to Cryptsy.

Bittrex currently makes up about 70% of LTCD trade and Cryptsy about 25%.

I received a reply from BTC-E :/

"Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting BTC-e. Currently we are not planning to add new coins. Please follow our Twitter account and News for updates. If you have further questions, do not hesitate to contact us again. Best Regards, BTC-e Support Knowledge Base"

They don't know what opportunity they are missing, pff :-P

To be honest, since about a month or two ago, I have found many of your replies in this thread to be very abrupt, dismissive or just unfriendly.
Can you post an example or two?

Guy

I'm not here to compete with you who is right or who isn't.
If you want to know then fine. There you go.

Just some of the recent replies.

"Please stop posting about your personal refund issue here. I wrote, very clearly, that the refund is being processed and when you should expect it.

Guy"

- Unfriendly, dismissive. It's not my "personal" issue but issue of the customer and issue of the company being unfair and inefficient in processing the refund (money).

"I'm too tired to get all the details at this hour. but it seems like a mistake. Please emails sales@ again.

Guy"

- Dismissive and abrupt. If you are too tired at the time then why are you on the forum and why are you replying at all.

Also I sent you a msg a week ago asking for some customer service contact number I could phone to ask about the refund. If there is any. Never got a reply.

These are just my opinions but...
I find such replies unprofessional. I don't think that the fact that it is a forum reply and not direct customer support reply by e-mail provides and excuse to be informal and unprofessional in communication. Regardless what customer types here (I'm not talking about trolls but customers).
Also, often when someone asks the question you reply that it is already explained somewhere in the thread. People don't have so much time to browse through hundreds of pages of forum to find the answer. Nice and professional way would be to either copy the answer or provide a link to the post. Sometimes when I read your replies here it looks like you are talking to some pub buddies not customers.

I'm sorry you feel that way.

I do acknowledge that our support replies sometimes takes too long. We're overwhelmed with requests.

Guy

Thank you for apologizing and sorting this issue out.

I have just submitted my request on Poloniex to add LTCD to voting list so maybe they will add it to their trade.

You an submit your own request here:
https://poloniex.com/coinRequest

I already did the same this morning

I already did the same this morning
Ahh ok :-)
Maybe if we all flood them with requests they will be persuaded to add it.

I also submitted my ticket on BTC-E but I gues they may be mroe reluctant of adding extra cryptos there :S
We will see. I will copy their reply here once I receive it.

Thanks Xircom and Welcome :-)

Also lives Xircom in the same timzone as I am. In the future there will be more team members and they will be located in the same timezone as TrollbyFire.

So, you are American living in Netherlands? Smiley
No im Danish living in Denmark😜 were bitcoin is tax free just like gold is.

Hahah, thanks yeah I guessed from the flag on the website.

I was thinking about TByFire, becasue I saw an American flag there and I think he mentioned something about Netherlands once :-)
I myself live in UK so just 1 hour difference in time zone :-)

I come from the Netherlands.. I was already thinking that you were trolling me.. lol

Haha no, I was just curious :-)
It's very good that you also both live quite close to each other.

I wasn't replying to you.

To be honest, since about a month or two ago, I have found many of your replies in this thread to be very abrupt, dismissive or just unfriendly.

Fine then, next time if something is not right/fair, I will just patiently and obediently refer myself to the mercy of your half efficient e-mail support service.
Waiting few days for each response without any other option to communicate.
I apologise for bringing up the issue of the refund here. I shall not request my money here ever again.
This forum is only for people willing to give money (order your products) not asking it back.

Lovely,
Happy New Year
314  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: September 24, 2014, 03:32:21 AM

SP-Tech is the best in hosting service and miners.  I don't get why you would want a refund.

Guy or Katya has always answered my emails within 10 minutes or less, even if it's like zero-dark thirty in Israel.  I don't know if they ever sleep at all.

Not sure what you did to piss him off but it shows when he doesn't reply to you that fast.  Be courteous.

I don't deny that they are. Cannot complain about the products.

It was Barbara not Katya. Katya tended to reply quite quick. At some point I was getting responses from them both so things got mixed up a bit.
Also, I transfered only 90% of the total amount for the purchase because I got messed up currency conversion. Just before I transfered remaining amount I was told that SP31s are out of stock so I can replace it with SP35. I asked for the refund and cancelled my hosting plan (not with S-T). Then I received an e-mail that they have got SP31 in stock again.
Anyway, here iI explained what happened:

yes 18 percent of the coins lol  that is just crazy 12 million and he has made 8 million in under 5 days. So if someone bought that much wouldn't the price have gone up instead of down lmao.

Not necessarily.  Theoretically speaking, playing off of FUD and panic sells as well as actual legit miners dumping loads of easily mined coin in combination with a bot constantly selling fewer coins than are bought (for cheaper)... Would be do-able by nearly anyone without a large investment.  If properly executed, it would be completely possible to acquire large amounts of coin while keeping the overall price low.  This isn't "market speak" by any means.  It's more a matter of human psychology versus a well designed trade algorithm.

We just have to convince more major exchanges to start accepting LTCD too. Then some bot system on one exchange wouldn't make as much influence.
We would need at least Poloniex and BTC-E to join, as well.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LTCD] LitecoinDark.com | Scrypt | Bittrex | Cryptsy | PoD 5+ on: September 24, 2014, 01:06:13 AM
I was just thinking. How LTCD can be anonymous and transparent at the same time?

Unless transparency refers to something else...

Transparent in the development process... anonymous in the payment process!
Yeah I have presumed but it isn't clarified in OPP so I had to mention it :-)
317  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: September 24, 2014, 12:59:52 AM
...Now, it seems obvious that the delay with this refund is deliberate...
Incorrect. Without getting into your specific history case (not that interesting, but if some is interested, the details are few pages back), every "special" non streamlined case causes quite a lot of work for us. We're very busy with fulfilling customers orders and "special" cases are getting second priority.

Guy

You have just confirmed it was deliberate by admitting moving my case to 2nd priority.
Considering that you knew that there is New Year coming and there will be no option of refudning me in the mean time it should have been done before the holiday period. At least you are honest about it.

Anyway, well, now at least, I have got at some information.
Couldn't have it been easier if I was told right away that it will be refunded in 7 days instead of vaguely saying that it wil be soem time in October?

Donīt expect any answer until 27:th.

That's just freaking great. They, seriously have taken a mick!

On 27th they are off because of their weekend break. And banks start working on Monday 29th.
Now, it seems obvious that the delay with this refund is deliberate...
They will probably apologize me/excuse themselves on 29th that they had national holiday break and then weekend so they were off etc.

(Btw, Goddamn Gallows are really cool)

Dude you are going to get your money. Guy has said so publicly, just let them be you will be refunded. They are not KNC or BFL  (at least not yet).  Just relax you will get it

Yes I know they are not like them. The problem was "when" I would recieve and why would I need to wait so long...

In response to your earlier post in this thread:

i just got this -8 because i had trouble with 2 big members.you can read why.

Yes.  Please do read why.

Here's a link for you:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=740664.msg8370476#msg8370476

You'll see that he was attempting to scam a gambling site out of bitcoins.  When he got caught, and the gambling site provided proof that he was lying, he admitted to the scam.  When Stunna, shorena, Lohoris, goodnightcoin, Vortex20000, and I all left feedback on his trust page pointing out his scam and linking to the relevant discussion, he lost his temper and tried to retaliate by leaving multiple instances of negative feedback on each of our trust pages.

Then today, he started spamming my PM inbox with silly insults:

hey slimer, faker.wich ass are you smelling right now?

This guy's about as trustworthy as Kenneth Lay and Jeffrey Skilling. I'd trust Bernard Madoff with my money before I'd trust Timmy with even a penny.

Hahah.

Fact is that if he invested 12 BTC he would haved few million LTCD since yesterday by now and I don't see any major change at http://www.richlist.eu/litecoindark

He would be at top ten :-)

I bought for 14 btc worth LTCD since yesterday now.

that's a lot! thats a serious confidence ! wow many just talk like me
I bought it at very good price, like now.I think i just can win!
Have you tried boosting the value by buying higher bids step by step, maybe?

I am not a trading expert, and dont know how to do that,i just bought at 1000 and 1300 sat
You don't need to be expert to do that. It's easy. Basically, if for example they asking bid is 0.00001100 btc then you set the price of your buy to 0.00001125. Of course it's more than asked so theoretically you lose a bit but it increases the currency's bidding value. So if you keep doing that step by step increasing with each buy then the price of currency will grow. Important is to buy quite a lot, at least 5000ltcd with each buy every 2-3mins. Progressively increasing 0.00001025, 0.00001050, 0.00001075, 0.00001100, 0.00001125 etc :-)
I did it yesterday starting from 0.00000850 and ended up at about 0.00001100. It worked ;-)

Ha i just tried it and i was able to get the price from 1050 to 1100

Everybody here should do that!

Great. I have just joined right now on both exchanges :-)
