at this point,  you must admit you are mining for a hobby,  to secure the network,  profiting at this stage from mining is becoming more of a pipe dream....

Discount on future order for paying over market prices today?   There are lots of promos and things that you could do to show appreciation to the customers that have stood behind you.   Hoping that $5 million.dollar sale didnt make you think the little guys are no longer important....
226  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales NEW STOCK ***NOW SHIPPING*** on: February 13, 2014, 05:42:15 AM

The 1.45 btc is an amazing price......  maybe antminers will look nice beside my bitfury rigs..... and its tax refund season.... mbp ill wait til monday to see if u drop prices,  if not 3 antminers will be enroute to me Smiley
231  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales NEW STOCK ***NOW SHIPPING*** on: February 04, 2014, 09:43:32 PM
you cant really compare bitfury and antminer,  when antminer uses double the power.... the market sets the price.....  so as long as people are paying what bitfury asks.... then the price is fair....   when people are no longer buying..... the price should drop.....    basic economics.....  if you are selling something at $400,    and people buy it....  why would you drop the price?

233  Economy / Securities / Re: [PicoStocks] 100TH/s bitcoin mine [100th] on: January 23, 2014, 01:07:42 PM
any plans to increase the available shares?  Saying I own part of a 1 Petahash mining op sounds better than part of 500TH  Smiley

also how safe is picostocks?   i'd like to see the option where I can have dividends paid to my wallet automatically instead of accumulating on the site....   just seems safe to me.....   keep our invested btc stored offline to prevent some sort of hacking attack.....  and pay dividends to a real wallet instead of holding them.... if we want to reinvest its a simple as sending you more coins...

just a thought
234  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales NEW STOCK ***NOW SHIPPING*** on: January 22, 2014, 10:08:47 PM
Let's clear this up:

1) We use the same equipment in our mine.
2) The boards we sell to customers are the same ones pulled from the shipments we use for the above mentioned mine.

All RMAs go to me and Yvonne to troubleshoot and are NEVER used / re-wrapped, or sold back to customers.  That's just not right.

all my stuff from them was new!  Very Happy!  just not really generating enough heat to keep my basement warm like asicminer did.... Smiley

i'll survive tho!   thanks mbp... and Yvonne rocks!

238  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales NEW STOCK ***NOW SHIPPING*** on: January 15, 2014, 04:53:09 PM
Just wanted to post about my chips on a new full rig. Results are on autotune.

Of 256 chips:

noncerate  = 0.000 = 2 chips
                < 0.250 = 2
                < 0.500 = 3
                < 1.000 = 2
                < 1.250 = 3
                < 1.500 = 1

That's 13 chips that are damn near worthless.  I have the rig stable up to 544 GH/s now, but I'm still bummed about the loss in hashrate. In contrast, my older full rig (Oct) has only 2 chips with a noncerate under 1.000 and has zero dead chips.

PSU: Corsair HX1050 Gold
Cooling: 20" Box Fan

544GH is quite a good speed though Smiley perhaps with time and tuning the bad cjips will come back on. I had a 'dead' chip on my september starter kit that suddenly began working after a few days of runiing at a higher voltage.

also, my 6 new V1.2 cards are modded to 1.7 kOhm on R02F and are running at 34.5GH average

Only in the world of bitcoin can someone promise 400ghs..... and have people Complain it only gets 544ghs....    i dont get it?    Bitfury and Megabigpower rock!
