do you think i can run 2  in overclock mode (it has 4 pci-e)
do you connect to computer via USB and run bfgminer with proxy?

do you think the price is going to stay the same or decrease?

it does not run via the usb,   you have to connect via bfgminer with proxy or use the web interface

werent these 1.49btc?

I'm not sure what arrangements other distributers have with friedcat, but this is the best price I can offer at this point. Is there another reseller in the US with cubes in stock?

it might have been a Reseller in Europe...  i just remember seeing a 1.49btc price somewhere...

448  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: November 15, 2013, 01:41:10 AM
Hello, everyone!  Random lurker here.  I went ahead and signed up for the board to let the rest of the lurkers know that if anyone who has paid has not yet received notice that their rig was shipped, you may want to contact MBP sales.  I grabbed one of the last rigs, order #10xx and was told that it should have shipped already.

Beyond that, anyone know how to sign up for ghash.io?  The old link to cex.io seems to have disappeared and regular signup page there looks like it is for investors, not bitfury miners.

Edit:  Scratch that ghash.io question, it looks like something fishy is going on.  I'll look into some of the other pools mentioned earlier that play nice with the difficulty.

if you have a share on cex.io,   you get access to the ghash.io pool.....

im might be a big shock.... but have you ever heard of a hobbyist miner?   Someone that does it for curiosity?  Fun?  The learning experience?  Most College Educations wont ROI.... I dont see a lack of customers for them.

how much life are you robbing from the devices by making them go faster than originally designed for?  i know it would instantly void the warranty...  id rather have a year at 100ghs than a month at 140ghs
452  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 5.2 GH/s USB ASIC Miner ??? on: November 14, 2013, 05:10:14 PM
it just has 2 bitfury chips on it instead of 1

these are set up like the version 1 blades, low speed and high speed,   each board already has 2 oscillators

458  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: is anyone aware of this ASICMiner BOX on: November 13, 2013, 12:33:51 AM
plus still supporting the OLD protocol, clearly no improvement has been made.

OLD protocol = getwork?

yes getwork is the old protocol  port 8332

459  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: is anyone aware of this ASICMiner BOX on: November 12, 2013, 11:39:11 PM
at least they overclock....
460  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN IN-STOCK] batch #32/31 0.70 btc per Blade on: November 12, 2013, 11:07:08 PM
320-500W  wtf...   so this is nothing more than the 5ghs blades that were only available in china earlier this year?   same chips, same inefficiency, just packaged up to look like a bfl little single....  Cry Cry  must say im very disappointed in ASICMiner right now...  and no stratum support.... getwork.....

How do you know it doesn't support stratum?

look at the instructions and the interface,   Proxy , Longpoll,   mining on port 8332    efficiency 89%  lol

i'm sure i'll end up with a couple just because.....   but i was expecting something better.....

Does Moore's Law not apply to ASICminer?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moore's_law

they should have chips at least comparable to bitfury 55nm by now...
