261  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales NEW STOCK ***NOW SHIPPING*** on: January 06, 2014, 04:57:33 AM
im starting to think AntMiner is just ASICMiner using a new name

262  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: public record, case 13LA09619 won against BFL on: January 02, 2014, 07:12:15 PM
That's awesome.

I wonder if this has anything to do with BFL dropping the price on a 50 Gh/s Single to $984 until January 5, or selling a 300 Gh/s Monarch pre-order for $1200 (down from $2800).

It usually does not look good to sell brand new products for more than half off. Seems like a desperate ploy for $$$ to me.

Cash flow problems perhaps?

didnt take long to burn thru that $1 million order money I guess...   imagine how mad that buyer is gonna be when BFL doesnt deliver that...
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: December 31, 2013, 09:54:18 PM
I wish KNC would just keep selling batches of Jupiters,   put the nail in the coffin of all these scam hardware companies!

With BFL's aggressive new pricing i expect something from KNC in the next few days!
264  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 31, 2013, 09:37:24 PM
im sure if hashfast has a workign miner that is using 450w instead of 350w   it wont be a deal breaker for anyone that has been waiting on the Oct delivery of units Smiley

they will just be glad they got something.....
265  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL New Prices on: December 31, 2013, 02:44:53 PM
They could at least have the singles get 60-70ghs...
266  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL New Prices on: December 31, 2013, 03:15:10 AM
There will be no shortage of people that continue to order...

269  Bitcoin / Group buys / Group Buy of 10 BitMain Antminer 180ghs 1.8THS on: December 29, 2013, 04:30:00 AM
im usually active and helpful it some of the forums and it seems thats there are no real equipment out there that lets the small hobbyist buy the miner and see if it is something to get more involved in.

Looking to purchase around 10 Units-  Split up into Shares.  39 Shares will be available,  each share is good for 45GHS of hashing Speed.

I'll be hosting the equipment,   it will run for 12 months minimum,   after that will consider selling and splitting the sales price with the group shareholders.

You can purchase as many shares as long as they are available! Payments will be made once a week to the Bitcoin Address that made the purchase of the share!

Will consider Moneypak for Share Purchases to reach our goal sooner and get equipment coming on the way!

Price per Share is 0.76 BTC  for 45GHS maybe 50GHS if we Overclock!

There is only 1 payment address for the Group buy!
Send Payment to 15WjJbXPGWTPMJJ3kqyo4w2nQ6NWjCog63

Only send Payment from an Address you can control!  You'll need to sign a message to confirm you own that address before Payouts begin!

In the case of Delays in Shipping,  I have my own small setup that I can start running for the group once we have enough members to complete the antminer purchase.  The equipment will be stored in a dry very cool concrete basement,  with Back ups Power Supplies and a 100mb Internet Connection and Air Conditioning!  I've been mining for over a year and I think this is the best way to expand and help others get into the mining game.

If you are not happy for any reason after 60 days.  I'll speak with other members of the group and consider buying your share back.

pm me any questions!

39/39 Shares Currently Available!

will update every few hours!

270  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [ON HOLD] Group Buy #26 AsicMiner Cube Miners and USB Hubs on: December 28, 2013, 06:07:15 PM
with so few companies with a product to deliver.... asicminer will continue to get away with this crap.... Sad
271  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] ASICMiner Cubes. 30-38gh/s - USA - .89 BTC - Free insured shipping on: December 28, 2013, 05:32:16 PM
How are these still selling at high prices with all the problems,  and antminer delivering 180ghs units that work as advertised... these should be maybe .55btc,   considering all the quality control issues from ASICMiner.
272  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: December 28, 2013, 04:47:39 PM
Has cointerra shipped any units?   They should not still be selling april batch units when no one has seen a dec unit yet!
273  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [ON HOLD] Group Buy #26 AsicMiner Cube Miners and USB Hubs on: December 28, 2013, 02:43:19 PM
1 cube, on 1 corsair 750,   nothing else using power from the psu just the cube....    this product definitely does not do as advertised.....
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scrypt ASICs - Likely coming soon or (finger crossed) not? on: December 28, 2013, 05:28:26 AM
Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge about the likelihood of Scrypt ASICs being available any time soon or not.

Feel they would kill mining for many people - including myself?

 Sad

keep in mind..... when Bitcoin ASICs were announced.....  in 2012.......  people still got a whole year of gpu mining.....  so i feel that will be the same case here.....  plan on being able to scrypt mine GPU's for the next 12 months....
275  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] ASICMiner Cubes. 30-38gh/s - USA - .89 BTC - Free insured shipping on: December 27, 2013, 08:32:48 PM
Got mine today and it is running @38 GH, Excellent Service form Crazyguy Thanks. I heeded the warning and took mine apart and found that some of the card were out of the grooves and the motherboard was bowed. All the heatsink screw were tight though. I carefully reassembled it and all is good. See pic

some definite quality control issues going on @ ASICminer.....   if you are going to repackage obsolete chips in a newer box to try and extend sales life,  you'd think they would make damn sure the stuff was put together right....

very disappointed.....

Sad
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best way to share 50/50 of whats mined with a friend? on: December 27, 2013, 08:27:50 PM

278  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales NEW STOCK ***NOW SHIPPING*** on: December 27, 2013, 07:51:23 PM

279  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Open Group Buy 1] AntMiner U1 USB STICKS - US only on: December 27, 2013, 07:41:49 PM
will these work in the 49 port Asicminer hubs?
280  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [ON HOLD] Group Buy #26 AsicMiner Cube Miners and USB Hubs on: December 27, 2013, 07:30:47 PM
after 4 power supplies smoked,    cube will finally run on low clock only using a corsair 750 psu,   it will not run on high clock setting....   something is definitely wrong with my cube....   if i could see friedcat in person i'd happily tell him where he could put this cube for long term storage.....
