cooperation with IOTA  Grin Grin Grin

Why would they not cooperate with Byteball instead? With similar technology as far as I know it is a much less centralized asset, and in an earlier stage of distribution.

Hype might be a factor with this choice. IOTA has a lot of hype behind it and i think they probably (rightfully so) believed it is good attention for their project. Cooperation with a top 10 crypto is pretty nice.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EventChain SmartTickets - Stopping Excessive Ticket Fees on: September 07, 2017, 09:31:47 PM
Would someone from the team elaborate on where they see the biggest challenges within this Project on a 1, 3 and 5 year period? thanks in advance

For the average business their problems are usually tech related. We won't have a technology barrier as we have demonstrated with our best-in-class https://alpha.eventchain.io demo. So really the challenges will be simply about team and partnership building. These problems are made easier for us by being well funded and in the crypto space early which gives as 'currency' Smiley

Do you have team members who have experience in the ticket industry or working with venues?  It is a difficult space and having someone with connections or experience would go a long way to trying to secure partnerships.  I believe many of the larger venues have multi-year contracts with ticket sellers.

You should check there website. They have a great team included people with experience in the ticket industry.
Like Richard Patterson and the crew of Click4Time (booking system).

The team is solid and will do the work!

Yes, we understand working with Venues can be tough and we have that experience Smiley!

We are working on a partnership with a ticketing giant on a certain island country in Asia right now, so that will be super excitign news coming out soon!

Nice to hear some big news is on the Horizon. You know how it is in crypto-land, it's all about the hype!
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Platform on: September 07, 2017, 07:46:10 PM
i think paypie is good more then others. i have a question, there is so many project available blockchain accounting project. whats different between paypie and others project.

I don't know when you say lot's of accounting project in blockchain.

There is not too much project in blockchain about accounting first of all. Second, paypie is more proffesional and more compact. I won't compare any project in blockchain with paypie.

You can't see any project in expo unless it's paypie.
Fizcal is a competitor:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2075267.0
But Paypie looks more professional with a better team.

Every unique idea will get a competitor sooner or later and it is a good thing for the development. I say its actually needed. Fizcal havent made good buzz in the market where as Paypie is getting all the buzz it can. I would go with Paypie because of the team's transparency and community support.

Yes, competition is needed in every domain, even in cryptocurrencies.

It's true that the actual work of Paypie is great, the project is very active, they seem to be the best option right now  Smiley

I don't mind competition in the sector when i'm investing in an ICO. I feel like it only helps to scrutinize the ICO's/projects and keep the teams themselves on their toes always working hard. When there are several projects in the same sector, you can find plenty of comparisons online to help you decide what you want to invest in. Don't think Paypie has much to fear from other projects right now.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: September 07, 2017, 07:43:46 PM
With the end of the token sale so close, other investors must be as excited as me. Really interested in seeing this project get of the ground after the ICO  Grin

I'm surprised the cooperation with IOTA isn't talked about more. That is a pretty big deal, IOTA itself being in the top 10 of crypto marketcaps.

I wish the Whitepaper would give a bit more information on it though, so far its only half a page with not a lot of details. I'm a big supporter of IOTA, so i like that you will be using their tangle technology. In the Whitepaper you mention that you can use IOTA for a verifiable audit trail. How do you prevent tampering with it? If i'm a grower and i just say that i used fertilizer X instead of Y, how can this be verified before it is recorded in the audit?
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EventChain SmartTickets - Stopping Excessive Ticket Fees on: September 07, 2017, 01:58:17 PM
who can create tickets a person or company or is this eventchain available for worldwide peoples or companies can create tickets? what will be process is any person want to create tickets. is there verification process required?

I asked myself the same question. Would it also be possible with EventChain to host an own, small event and sell the tickets on the platform? I mean, for example, the president of a local musical society who wants to organize a concert in his town. Can he use EventChain too or is it only designed for big event managers?

I do hope they keep it open for everybody to use, but from their website it seems they are targeting the American market. Maybe it's open for all, but they will market it to big venues in the American market first.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EventChain SmartTickets - Stopping Excessive Ticket Fees on: September 07, 2017, 11:01:53 AM
Scrolling through the ANN my guts made me feel I would be silly not to invest in this ico.The team looks very professional and ready to deliver. Concept is very clear and has real world applications,Lastly token supply is very good for medium to long term investments and shorterm if utility and adoption increases progressively.

yeah if Aventus can sell out in mere 10 minutes then EventChain will be in just 1 because EC have more reach than Aventus.

EC has a much higher cap, so that might be overreaching but definitely interesting to see where how it goes.

It is a very high cap, that i also think will be hard to reach even though it's a solid project. With all the FUD about regulation going on. I wonder what will be done with leftover tokens, will they be burned?
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 07, 2017, 08:13:38 AM
I like how the community will have input on how Paragon moves forward in the future

Could you elaborate on this? I think i missed that part of the whitepaper. What part of the direction can the Community influence and how?
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EventChain SmartTickets - Stopping Excessive Ticket Fees on: September 07, 2017, 08:04:12 AM
I missed out on aventus but I will probably go for eventchain. Remember seeing a benchmark between the two, can anyone help out with a link? thanks

Me too, that ICO was sold out quickly and it really shows there is a market for this type of project. Not to mention that EventChain is focusing on the American market, which i like. The comparison you're looking for is: https://cryptocanucks.com/blockchain-event-ticketing-industry-head-head-eventchain-aventus/
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 06, 2017, 09:49:39 PM
I saw The Game was out promoting crypto and Paragon even more. I love an ICO that knows how to get the word out there. Especially for this industry, marketing will be key.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EventChain SmartTickets - Stopping Excessive Ticket Fees on: September 06, 2017, 09:48:18 PM
So i'm wondering if this will also stop the practice of people buying up a ton of tickets in the start and then reselling it for a big profit. Is there a plan to prevent this (possibly with the blockchain)?
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: September 06, 2017, 08:04:24 PM
I'm hoping Ian Balina (Hacking the System on Youtube) will review the ICO. He has a good system to of reviewing ICO's and i wonder what his verdict is on Vibehub.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Platform on: September 06, 2017, 08:02:03 PM
icobench recently added PAYPIE to ICO rating:

https://icobench.com/ico/paypie  - as we see 4.5 not bad result, congratulations!

Well "not bad" is a bit underrated, isn't it? But there is still room for improvements Smiley And as we can see, devs are already working on improvements with help from the community.

I always wonder though if those type of websites are paid for the reviews. Or of paying can get you a higher grade. In the case of PayPie, i can see why they give a good grade though, it's a solid project.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EventChain SmartTickets - Stopping Excessive Ticket Fees on: September 06, 2017, 06:30:32 AM
Thanks for linking the comparison at https://cryptocanucks.com/blockchain-event-ticketing-industry-head-head-eventchain-aventus/ that really cleared a lot up for me and saved me time of making the comparisons myself  Grin

Like the article says, adoption is key and in that respect EventChain has a leg up. Easier to market to North America then all the different countries in Europe. Not to mention that a larger portion of the tokens will be will be sold during the token sale, that is good for investors,

Anybody know what will be done with the leftover tokens if the cap is not reached? Will they be burned?
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] EventChain SmartTickets - Stopping Excessive Ticket Fees on: September 05, 2017, 09:32:34 PM
Interesting project. I know a lot of people are fed up with the way tickets are sold now, too many fees. A good industry where blockchain technology can provide some much needed efficiency and putting the power back into the hands of the consumers. I'll read some more through the whitepaper later.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Platform on: September 05, 2017, 09:24:49 PM
@PayPie,

Please make a video/vlog at the video expo. A little more news from the team can really help get some more hype for the project. I've seen several independent people review and be positive about the ICO, but i would also like to see more from the team. Maybe a bit of an AMA style, answering the most frequently asked questions on here for example.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: September 05, 2017, 09:22:19 PM
I have some questions regarding your ongoing token sale and the post ico processes:

  • Are there already ongoing negotiations with bigger exchanges?
  • What will happen to unsold tokens?
  • What will happen to bought, but unclaimed tokens?
  • Are Chinese investors blocked from token sale

Dont worry about chinese investors, this could only help those ICO! ICOs are decentralized so everyone from everywhere can participate and make a contribution  Wink

So much FUD about China. Even if China is banned from participating in the ICO, won't it be positive for people who can invest in the ICO? Since the Chinese will have to buy the tokens from the exchange and with their demand, the price rises.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | PARAGON | Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry | on: September 05, 2017, 09:20:37 PM
What is the shoutout from GRWI about? I can't find it. Can someone link it?
I have already asked that in Slack. Will let you know if I will know more.

And is there an app planed for Paragon? I could imagine that community would really like that.

What exactly would the app do? Is it just a general app to connect like-minded people who work in the Cannabis sector?

Nice video explain paypie.  Simple way explained paypie. Nice

Very good indeed. Even though i like the project for the long term, a lot of people invest in ICO's for flipping, and you can't blame them since you can make good profits. But if you believe in a project and can wait a year, the waiting will pay off  Grin
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: September 05, 2017, 07:21:51 PM
I see mentions of you guys developing your own hardware. I really hope you guys will focus on the software/platform first and foremost. As you can see with the Oculus development, creating hardware can be such a time and moneysink. Just make the platform run on the most used VR/AR devices and you're good.

That's why i also hope Google Daydream will be on the roadmap. Adoption is key.
