I can understand their main focus being a bit less sleazy sectors like education, and music. But i already suggested a while ago that porn should be looked at in the future for the project. It brings in money and adaption of the technology. Blu-ray was adapted because Porn chose it over HD-DVD.

I agree, even though you might argue, if people don't get the concept, should they really be investing   But with all the ICO's around, the way the ICO information is presented is important. Few people take the time to read full white papers, even when they invest. Some info-graph i would like to see is a comparison to similar projects to show the USPs of NaPoleonX. It can be a very effective tool.


So, something else. If i understand the post-ICO roadmap, the first DAFs will become available 10,5 to 14,5 months after the ICO. And the Asset Management Status Aquisition is the first step post-ICO with quite a wide range of possible aquisition time (2-5 month). What are the factors that influence the speed of getting this status? Is it based on how much the ICO raised? So, hard cap reached is 2 months for the AMSA or are there different, more variable factors?

Of course they are not going to be trading with it, that would be crazy risky. At the end of the ICO ETH will have recovered. So investors get their REAL for cheap now (while ETH is cheap) and REAL will have a good amount of money to launch their platform and buy properties once the ICO ends.

Well that depends, i picked up some really cheap Eth, so now i have gotten cheap REAL. It's a win-win

Thanks for answering my earlier questions. I understand that for most markets a trading bot can make more accurate decisions then humans party because of the lack of the emotional factor. I'm happy humans are still involved with crypto DAFs because current exchanges require it.

In regards to the graph you showed, of course the basic principle of buy low and sell high (and leverage) will generate profit, but will shorting also be used when there is a bear market?

That's what motivated me to invest some. I also really like it when ICO's have a demo/product to show already, not just fancy ideas. The AMA is a bit long bit really worth your while. The team has a lot of experience in the real estate sector.

Great blog! Smart to differentiate yourself from other ICO's which might seem similar, but really aren't. Especially for a sector like this where not everybody is as knowledgeable, this helps a lot. Hope you guys keep up the blogging and will also mention ways in which you plan to market your product to big companies. Having a few solid clients interested can really boost a project like this.

The rating system is good, but i don't think you want to get involved when there is a dispute between a landlord and a tenant. Those can get ugly, and i think Relest should try to stay away from those as far as possible  What i do worry about with the rating system is the 'buying' of good ratings, what is really a problem for AirBNB and Amazon etc, people leaving good reviews for some small pay. That can really skew the rating system.

So i've been reading about the DAF's and i'm glad you guys are not only incorporating cryto assets, but also real world assets to allow for a big diversity of DAF's with ranging risk/reward. I've previously invested in Iconomi and so far have been a bit disappointed with them.

A few questions come to mind. I don't see any mention of the recent SEC ruling (don't think it's official yet?) that tokens are securities. If this ruling does go through, will you guys have any trouble with this? Will all trading done by the trading bots in the DAF's (always) be fully autonomous? I know the DAF stands for Decentralized Autonomous Funds, so the assumption is that the trading is fully autonomous, but in some cases i can imagine that a human can give the final OK on a trade. For instance when large amounts are being traded, big risks, certain news coming out (especially with crypto assets), etc.

Same for me, it's always nice to have part of your portfolio just be something with safe and steady growth. That is my reason for investing in REAL, it's backed by real world properties so it is not affected (as much) by the normal crypto instability. Just solid growth over time.

Pretty slick presentation although i must admit i might have to see the video again and read up on the whitepaper to wrap my head around the details. I'm really interested in these type of projects because i think they have great potential. Your team seems to have some serious experience, so i'll find the time to read the whitepaper. I really hope they will do this. As phones become more and more powerful, the hardware should not be a problem. It's really needed for a good adoption rate

I agree that certain projects just have to offer a presale and i use this as an indicator as well to judge the ICO. If a lot of whales invest large sums of money, that is a positive sign (as long as they don't get all the tokens). There is a reason the whales have that much money, it's because they know what good projects are and what to invest in. That's also what made me comfortable investing into REAL. Hope you all bought some more ETH during the dip  

Very nice to see the interview, it really highlights the advantages EventChain has over the current 'normal' ticketsales. I really think blockchain can add such efficiency to this sector, a lot of the money definitely goes to the 'middle man' in this sector and with blockchain you won't have this problem. So, cheaper tickets!

I think they also mentioned in an interview that this isn't the only way for them to raise capital to buy properties. They have been in the real estate business for many years, and are also talking to investors. Not everything has to go through an ICO. Correct me if i'm wrong.

I expect REAL to also (eventually) be listed on Bittrex, but REAL can't confirm this. As i understand, once you have a deal with Bittrex, you're not allowed to communicatie it yet because it can influence the price.

As i think REAL is one of the best real estate ICO's, i do expect them to raise quite a lot more before the ICO is over. Especially now that Ethereum is so cheap!
