XPM is clear sign even his creator turned back at the wrong design (block time)! Sunny didn't turn his back on Peercoin, just the opposite. If you read his comments instead of assuming, besides capturing some of the proof-of-work market, one of the reasons he created Primecoin was to act as a gateway to Peercoin, therefore benefiting it in the long run. "For existing ppcoin users our dedication to the continued development of ppcoin and its market has not changed. ppcoin's advanced proof-of-stake technology has long-term advantage over pure proof-of-work designs, and is an innovative environmental-friendly solution to the escalating energy consumption on cryptocurrency. In my opinion the energy intensive sector will fragment into many different types of proof-of-work, a single type of proof-of-work is unlikely to maintain dominance. More fragmentation is likely even within a single type of proof-of-work. Meanwhile the energy efficient sector would rise to challege the energy intensive sector, and ppcoin is among the leading contenders in the energy efficient sector. So in terms of our long term strategy ppcoin is of more importance than primecoin."

it comes with a bonus, primecoin forum It would probably be a good idea to make a separate thread advertising primecointalk.org, since Primecoin seems to be popular. Since the forum is combined with ppc, people would go there for Primecoin, but inevitably learn more about how ppc works, which is what we want.

This forum is also linked from ppcoin.org and Sunny King posts there.

I'm not sure if anybody has mentioned it in this thread yet, but we now have PrimecoinTalk.org in case anyone wants to make the jump over. This website is dedicated to both of Sunny's coins XPM and PPC. Besides this thread, Sunny King also regularly posts over there and has voiced his support in favor of people making the jump... Nice! Yes I would love to see more xpm supporters hang out here.
So please join us in developing Primecoin and making it a successful coin... Join PrimecoinTalk.org Now!

Thanks for adding Primecoin to the forum. Everyone interested in Primecoin or Peercoin is welcome to join!

Is that available in a vector graphic format? This particular image looks like it was scaled down by just removing lines, really crappy. Can you make a PNG image with alpha channel and without the background available in the highest possible resolution?
Yeah, he's just awaiting the master files from the designer. I'm pretty sure Sentinelrv just threw this up for us to see. If anyone can send him a tip, please do so. Sentinelrv put a lot of time and money into getting us this great logo. He did a great job. Correct, this is just something I threw up to show off the winning logo. Whenever the designer uploads everything, I'll post about it on ppcointalk.org.

Where/when can we get the raw sources files for the logo?
I have to wait for the designer to upload the files. I asked him to make us a version with a transparent background first.

Muto over at ppcointalk.org doesn't meet the requirements for voting here, so I'm adding his vote for #199, since we already know who he is.

1. What is the entry # for your favorite design? #199 2. What is the reason you chose to vote for this design? There are several reasons I chose to vote for #199. I believe it has the best colors when compared against all the other designs. The way the leaf is incorporated into the symbol is perfect in my opinion. Another important question I should answer is why I chose #199 instead of #198. Sunny King told me that #198 is his favorite so far. I like #198 also, but it unfortunately doesn't work in all situations. The Peercoin logo is going to be seen at a much smaller size many many more times than it will at a larger size. It will need to fit into small avatars and there are many places where a 16x16 icon is necessary. #198 just doesn't work at smaller sizes because the P symbol fades into the background. #199 doesn't have this problem. It stands out just fine at any size. The final logo needs to work at all sizes and I think #199 does the job. Check out this example I made to show off what I'm talking about...

4 - PhatCowDesigns 4 - Anamulmasum 4 - Akaki
Here is what we're going to do. You'll all have a second chance to vote here. Out of the three names listed above, you can only vote for two of them, since I only have two more slots to fill. I will give you guys until sometime tonight to vote. If there are no more votes, I'll decide it myself. Here are my votes...
1. PhatCowDesigns 2. Akaki
