261  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Miners DUMPING their ASICs on: April 07, 2014, 01:57:05 AM
They dumping the old crappy equipment. Newer equipment is all sold out. Mining will be fine. New equipment is just going to get cheaper. If a bitcoin is worth something people are going to still mine plus bitcoins are not the only cryptocoin that you can mine with asics...there are a lot of other profitable sha256 based coins.

262  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: TerraMiner IV's For Sale - 3 Day Delivery *2000 Ghps* on: April 04, 2014, 12:55:56 AM
$10k? That is crazy. Just buy 10 antminer s1 for $400 each and you will have close to 2th/s
For less than $4k

264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saudi Arabia announces it will only agree to sell their oil for Bitcoin or Gold on: March 29, 2014, 01:52:57 AM
Why all these people think china and Russia are the good guys? China and Russia are the most corrupt of the first world nations. Both of these countries are trying to ban bitcoin and all crypto currencies. Even if china and Russia collude and create their own credit card or currency, the rest of the world will still use the USD.

Nobody is going to use gold as a reserve currency, that's like 19th-20th century tech. Lol!
265  Other / Off-topic / Re: Stop Mine - Bitcoin on: March 28, 2014, 12:38:17 AM
China gave up back in January! Where you been?
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in the process of being "nipped at the bud", and we're doing nothing. on: March 28, 2014, 12:37:01 AM
Hey bitcoin is now going to go main stream!!!

Totally legal and totally taxed
267  Economy / Speculation / Re: Russia to Drop USD as reserve currency - could mean 5000+ USD bitcoins on: March 28, 2014, 12:27:54 AM
The rest of the world is the US, EU, japan, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Mexico....they will never drop the usd as the reserve currency.

We could end up with two reserve currencies....but not likely.

Russia is not as huge economy like the us or the eu or even china. Sure they export lots of natural gas to the eu but if the sanctions hit their exports and the us supplies the eu with us natual gas, Russia is done. But right now there is no way the US can easily export it's natual gas.

If Russia tries to take Ukraine they will get fucked economically.

China is fragile too...look at the bank runs. Plus china hates crypto currencies too.

You guys do know that if china and russia banded together they could be a formidable block of economic and military power but if they ruled the world you can kiss crypto good bye.

Bitcoin is still going to go to $5000 just because of all the turmoil that's probably going to happen in the next 10 months. Bitcoin has to shake off this china shit once and for all first.
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IRS Ruling Best thing Imaginable, You Idiots on: March 27, 2014, 10:01:08 PM
Bitcoin ain't gonna crash. It still holding above $500. It's only down now because of the ever present Chinese ban BTC rumors.

270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] CoinEX realtime exchange on: March 18, 2014, 12:10:10 AM
I think coinex will come back...you guys do know it was down for a week a while back and it resurfaced and all was mostly good. Some kind of upgrade that went wrong.

I would give this exchange about a week, then I would start to panic.

Never leave BTC or LTC on any exchange....
271  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: freebitco.in is a BIG scam on: March 09, 2014, 05:31:15 PM
Haha! Losing can hurt sometimes...
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - www.middlecoin.com on: March 07, 2014, 10:00:45 PM
I have tested mining here, clever and waffle. Waffle still pays out the most per mh/s. But all of them are starting to drop off....
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - www.middlecoin.com on: March 04, 2014, 07:06:12 AM
I got one miner pointed to Clever and one miner pointer to waffle...I was hoping MC was back on track...I guess not yet..

Clever is really starting to slow up....Waffle is still where its at...
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It seems that some people are hoping that the US gov confiscated gox cold wallet on: March 01, 2014, 03:02:21 AM
Whatever bitcoin will be back above $1000 by summer...we just got to get through March. GOX being dead is a good thing. GOX fraudulent use of bitcoin will be exposed.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So ... who spent money on Gox trying to buy $100 coins? on: March 01, 2014, 12:38:12 AM
The thing is all that money people put in the last month is still there. If GOX knew they already lost 850k bitcoins then it is straight up fraud on their part...if they knew they were fucked then they should have never allow money transfers and trading.

The transfer malleability was a coverup.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: February 27, 2014, 12:50:01 AM
This is the best pool! Thanks waffle!

279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - www.middlecoin.com on: February 22, 2014, 09:16:28 PM
Where are fucking here because we want to know if MC was fixed. We all know it use to be the best. Sure we might not be mining here because it fucked but we all hope it will get fixed....one day...

Plus this is still the best bitcointalk thread....very entertaining....

280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - www.middlecoin.com on: February 22, 2014, 03:53:15 AM
Not if you take out manual trades. Those manual trades are from days ago. So profits are lower.

People keep forgetting this; they have their own money stuck in the pool from 5+ days and when H20 drips it out they pretend it's holy water and kiss H20's feet.
Correct, its money that was mined days ago and set aside. When h20 does manual trades it boosts a slow day into an amazing one. He is actually on vacation, not sarcasm. So its interesting to see tomorrows numbers without manual trades.
That is what I thought. Sounds about right...
