241  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Ang kahalagahan ng pag gamit ng iba't ibang email kaugnay sa ating crypto on: June 22, 2020, 08:45:15 AM

Same hereee. Sa dami nga ng mga email eh nakakalito na minsan kahit naka organize naman na according to use. Hahaha. Pero worth it parin for the safety of my accounts.

How about saving it sa spreadsheet MS Excel, and the likes? Dunno if good pero I used to do it sa mga important stuff ko even IRL activities. Madali lang rin kasi i-sort dito para 'di ka rin malito which email account dedicated to certain platform; games, servers...  Cheesy.

Ganda rin naman ilagay sa mga physical notes however if you're a type of person na burara sa mga gamit or let's say na makakalimutin ka, medyo magiging trouble 'yon lalo na pag need mo na hanapin haha  Grin. Pero okay na rin naman for physical backup specially if 'di nagana computer or laptop mo, or may nangyari na something.

Suggestion lang naman  Tongue.
242  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the Best Bitcoin wallet? on: June 21, 2020, 02:08:17 PM
You should've asked how to store BTCs effectively, and secured instead of leavin' as an options which in fact we wouldn't recommend in the first place. So yeah, better use coldstorage wallets rather than these online wallets you mentioned  Tongue.

In case you don't have spare money to buy yourself coldstorage wallets you could use.
  • Electrum - as mentioned above

One more thing, if you have spare phone (note: you're no longer using) you could also set it up as your coldstorage wallet   Wink.

Meaning to say, it is better thing to have your own control with your private keys, since you're just holding. So that you'll be able to avoid unfavorable circumstances not unless you just leave such important stuff else where or deliberately give it to suspicious person or someone you don't know about.  Undecided

With that being said, just read the news that Florida had more than 4,000 cases yesterday, and that is their record for 1 day, so far. Not a good thing to hear 5 weeks before season starts again, and I hope that won't leead up to cancellation. Adam Silver stays postive though, so that is good to hear.
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2897064-report-adam-silver-confident-in-nbas-restart-despite-floridas-covid-19-spike
Haven't heard of any related news about NBA lately, and this what would I see? Damn, not a good news indeed  Sad. Good thing Adam Silver remain firm with his decision though he had enough with his plate already... bunch of messed up circumstances though.

Not sure, but I think if the league wouldn't be able to carry on to continue the league at the certain date, I think they will be moving it for several days later or maybe until stuff remain under control there. It is still risky to gamble health matters, after all  Undecided.
244  Other / Off-topic / Re: Quiz: Signature Campaign Guidelines on: June 20, 2020, 02:40:48 PM
My first try  Cheesy

I think you should have used radio buttons instead of checkboxes, since there's a one correct answer per question  Tongue. Well, if you plan on making a question in which among the four choices, two should be the right answer then good. And one more thing, you have to restrict user on submitting all the given choices. I tried it, and it is possible though it was wrong  Cheesy. Anyway, thanks it was fun and informative  Wink. I'll be waiting for your next update.
245  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Earning From Digital Ads Will Be Taxed (e.g., Signature Campaign) on: June 20, 2020, 11:08:56 AM
I'm not sure kung madadamay 'yong mga signature participants pero sa tingin ko naman hindi. We're livin' in a principle of anonymity here ika nga nila. Dunno how they're going to find out this thing though saka ang complicated kasi 'di naman permanent 'yong ibang signature campaign, and problem agad 'yan if natapos then wala na maipambayad, right?

246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best welcome offer for you? on: June 19, 2020, 02:41:44 PM
$50 welcome bonus is good for me.
From my point of view, a $50 referral bonus is enough for me
I did the math myself and you two got 100 bucks. Really, 50 bucks bonus for referral and welcome? If they are new that will really dried up their marketing budget.
Exactly, man. For sure this bonus would be abused like as sir @finaleshot said. Though a competent idea to rapidly gather new comers but it is not a good nor a best thing to do so. Less than or equal to $10 is fine, nuff said.

Anyway much has been said, and I like welcome bonus as well. It is just that, it's too good to be true when the bonus you'll get is pretty high that for me seemed to be so suspicious. But yeah if it were real then good as a gambler on the other hand it is not just like what I said above   Tongue.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Physical Casinos Decoded : on: June 19, 2020, 11:34:31 AM
Majority of gamblers in gambling casinos do not know this, all they know is how to prepare for their games and getting their best suit that brings them luck, but when it comes to the technical analysis they do not do research, they are familiar with the structure of the gambling casinos but do not know what is the point or the meaning behind those structures.
TBH it wasn't really bad not knowing these ideas not unless you can manage yourself from not spending that much other than the money you can afford to lose, and not unless you can manage yourself on getting your way out without getting tempted on playing once more. These casinos designed, and tricks, more often, effective for the individual who doesn't even have any kind of plan nor disciplined, IMO 'cause you won't bother yourself to play a little more when you already set your boundaries; time, and amount of money supposed to spend  Tongue.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 18, 2020, 11:40:37 AM
I think I will pass that, reading article was enough. But I would appreciate some tl;dr version, if anyone can bother Cheesy

I think, I'll pass too as I don't even read terms & conditions sometimes LOL  Cheesy.

I don't know about players though. If their families will be joining them and cannot even watch them live then there is no point.
Let them stay at home.
I know they want even just a little amount of fans on the sideline for more authorities with their dunks and threes.  Cheesy
But, it's better to be safe at this time first.
Exactly. More people involved, more risks from contracting the virus.
That's not gonna work I guess. If they seriously need to resume, they need to minimize the people who's coming in from the facility that their playing into, in Orlando  to be specific.
I understand how boring the game could be without the crowd, the families, and even friends, just the players from each team, coaches, and staff. But this is business, they need to sacrifice.

Audience problems?  Grin I think I found a hilarious solution LOL.

From Korean baseball league:

(Photo not mine)
Source: https://rojakdaily.com/lifestyle/article/9691/best-audience-ever-south-korean-baseball-game-uses-stuffed-animals-to-fill-up-seats

As you can see, they use stuffed toys in replacement for audience for the time being. Kind of weird though  Grin but it is better than leaving those thousand of seats empty  Tongue. I can't imagine Adam Silver would approve this idea  Cheesy.
249  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Poll - How did you obtain your first BTC / satoshis? on: June 18, 2020, 09:54:47 AM
Majority voted for faucet, and so was I  Grin.

It was back when I saw a thread from facebook regarding deepweb stuff, and I always stumble upon this Bitcoin thing. Dunno if it was sort of coincidence when a friend of mine told me something about the same concern as well, and he encourage me to read more about 'em 'cause his making fortune out of it. And yeah, curiosity bothers me and I search how to earn, and freebitcoi.in that is now a signature campaign here were the most website I came across with. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to transfer it 'cause I don't even know everything else except bitcoin. Not until, that friend of mine got a spare time to teach me more about this industry.
250  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [UPDATED]Watchlist for Active Filipino Posters/Campaigners on: June 17, 2020, 03:33:57 PM
Curiosity bothers me, and so binilang ko  Grin.

Ranking ko is top 4 lang from highest to lowest:
  • Hhampuz - 21
  • BestChange - 17
  • BrainBoss - 11
  • yahoo - 8 - 2 (recently lang nag-end 'yong LuckyBit)

Indicates na good performer rin ang pinoy, considering na limited spots lang mayroon ang camp and ang daming user mayroon ang forum  Roll Eyes.
251  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [MEGATHREAD] Pilipinas Coronavirus/COVID-19 Thread on: June 17, 2020, 02:22:15 PM
Sana talaga magkaroon ng vaccine sa virus na ito para bumalik na ulit sa normal ang lahat. Stay safe mga kabayan!

From GMA news:

Dexamethasone hailed as first life-saving drug vs. COVID-19, reduces deaths by a third among severe cases

252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction 2020 on: June 17, 2020, 02:57:38 AM
Mirroring 2016's price movement? I'm no analyst but I couldn't buy those reason. 2016 is entirely different from 2020, it might be just a coincidence why it looks like something happening similar few years back then.

In my opinion the year 2020 is a big year for crypto. So the more chance of seeing positive things for the bitcoin. The reason behind my thought is, last few years we have seen a bearish market. So it can influence the price of bitcoin. Again there is a bitcoin halving this year. It also can influence the price of bitcoin according to the past history of bitcoin. So I want to say if someone predicts bitcoin will reach 20k dollars again this year it has enough arguments. And I will support the prediction.

I admire your simple thoughts  Grin. While everybody/majority here aren't really interested nor they do not care about the idea of those so-called expert, simply because it is just one of the many.

256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Physical Casinos Decoded : on: June 16, 2020, 11:00:54 AM
Subtle way of preventing the customer to leave  Grin. That's why going into casino isn't a joke specially if you have loads of money you're protecting from recklessly spending. Much better to go there with the amount you knew that won't bother you, once you already ran out of spare money to spend with.

•The reason there are no clocks and windows at casinos are because they don't want to let the users leave!
Am not sure but some certain malls are deliberately designed like this. Now I know  Shocked. Anyway, thanks for that long list, man. It will give more better insights and awareness.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 16, 2020, 09:22:17 AM
Many people here consider Lakers and Clippers to be the championship favorites. A few pages earlier there was also a discussion about the rivalry of Lebron and Kawhi. See what Danny Green, guy who played with them both, says about both leaders.

https://twitter.com/Schultz_Report/status/1272689341027024899

What type of leader would you prefer in a team? Louder like LBJ or more uncommunicative like KL? Personally, I think I would choose Lebron, although his huge charisma can be a great advantage, but sometimes it can also have a bad effect on the team. Anyway, I hope to see these players compete in the conference finals.

There's no denying that they're both good. Experience wise I'd pick Bron over Kawhi, obviously because Bron had been on different teams, and had already been involve with more and different names than Kawhi, not to mention that he has been in playoffs numerous time in which gameplays are far more intense than regular season. Though imo Bron is a better a leader but it doesn't make Kawhi any less, there's still a lot of room for him to grow.

On the other hand, I think being a good leader knows how communicate with his team very well. Unfortunately Kawhi falls short in this aspect but anyway, as mentioned by Danny Green on the video he's becoming more vocal now, and that's a good thing. Imagine Kawhi being talkative  Grin.
258  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 effect on your country's economy!!! on: June 16, 2020, 05:24:51 AM
Let's not forget how the issue of the effects of the pandemic was almost one-sidedly put into the sidelines because of the issue of the anti-terrorism act that the president is enforcing right now. Not sure if it was intentional or not but really, it's like they're basically wasting their time, effort, and brain cells in the issue when we have a larger issue at hand. Not saying that it shouldn't be discussed, but it felt like they forced the topic of the pandemic effects to go to the sidelines.
Frankly, it was intentional, IMO. The executive department had ordered it as urgent. Hence, putting the bigger issues aside. Am not sure why the president came up with that idea, 'cause from what is obvious, there were countless of expression of dissents happening around in social media, and numerous protest in some places. But there's nothing much happening about terrorism right now, for him to order the bill as urgent.

-
Anyway, much has been said by this guy. And from what I see, looks like we're still going to suffer from various instances our government decide to put an action on; to economic recession as mentioned (well, there's no exception, either way)up to risk on health matters. Quite lucky somehow, that there were LGUs from several cities who perform very well on fighting against the pandemic, for not being additonal burden our country currently facing.

Looks like it. It feels sarcastic for me.
If it is not, then great.

He really likes to tease all star players LOL  Grin.

It's good that this isn't compulsory but I'm sure the spirit of players that wants to play again is always there. Those that have enough savings can easily sit at their homes and watch their team compete.

I'd rather choose health but everyone doesn't have the same situation.

Definitely, man. Talk about, the spirit to play again.

I happen to stumble across this recent news from Bleacher Report:
Quote
"LeBron is going to make sure those games [in Orlando] are played, because he knows they could have a huge impact on his legacy,"
-
"He knows picking up one or two more titles is the potential tipping point, and he's determined to go for it."
Source: https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2896224-nba-exec-lebron-james-will-make-sure-nba-returns-because-it-could-impact-legacy.amp.html

Sure thing, Bron is dedicated to take the championship ring this season though. He needs to take this in to a new level before those young promising guys take over the league, his chances are getting slimmer as time passes by.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 15, 2020, 01:56:04 PM
I like the boxing style of Manny Pacquiao, even though his body is fairly small and is now 41 years old. I'll bet Manny Pacquiao can
beat Golovkin, although it's certainly not easy to beat Golovkin. Hopefully the match can be held well. Because it is not easy to hold
boxing matches in the current situation, protocol implementation must be as detailed as possible health prevention of corona virus spread.

The tandem of Manny and Freddie is the best coaching type you could ever see in boxing with the help of Freddie roach's strategies, Manny can overcome his opponent no matter who he is as long as they have the same weight. Of course, there are times when somethings wrong they cannot get what they want with the fight but Manny can adjust on the spot to counter his opponent strategy. He is called a living legend for a reason.

Seriously I want manny to stop while he is healthy since he might encounter his last fight with most dangerous injury since first he's old for accepting more bouts but since his body seeking more fights then might best for his couching staff to focus on speed and defense so that he will not get any bad shots that can make him sleep in the canvass just what like marquez did to him on their bout.

Yeah, I couldn't agree to you more, man. And much has been said by @bisdak40.

We can't rely on possibilities alone, as mentioned he's not getting any younger, his speed isn't as close to what it was before, his body couldn't grasp heavy punches even though he has trained it to a new level. Beside he doesn't need money nor popularity anymore as he already made it for himself. From what is obvious, that must be followed else he'll suffer from unexpected consequences.
