501  Other / Archival / Re: How to earn altcoin every days? on: June 23, 2018, 02:47:56 PM
I'm surprised nobody's really mentioned it yet: Mining.  Yes, trading, airdrops and bounties can be a good way to earn altcoins every day, but mining is guaranteed so long as you have the hardware already set up for it.

of course but, differently, from other 2 options, it requires a substantial investment. Clearly, doing bounty and airdrops doens't require much efforts and knowledge. Oppositely, mining requires buying the right hardware, invest quite a lot, etc
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more effective Bounty or Airdrops ? on: June 22, 2018, 08:20:36 PM
From the point of view of someone looking for free coins, I would argue that bounty campaigns are much more effective. Airdrops only give out few $ and you'll spend a good part to send them to an exchange to cash out.

To some extent, airdrops can be effective to add up some tokens to your bounty rewards
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about large and expensive crypto fairs? on: June 18, 2018, 08:30:18 PM
In addition, last year we were also in Malta but the experience was not great. The island is amazing and there were lots of curious people but the quality was not comparable with the Coindesk event.
Also I would really appreciate if anyone could advice good events in London. I'd really like to get much more exposure in the City.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What do you think about large and expensive crypto fairs? on: June 18, 2018, 07:15:06 PM
Hello,
last month I exhibited at Blockshow fair with the www.scientificcoin.com team and was great. Lots of interesting people, investors and partnership opportunities. Issue: costs - for a small booth, bringing team participants from abroad and lodging: more than $20k. This sum is quite insane for a small team trying to advertise with a relatively small budget. Tickets for participants are priced very high too: I heard even some investors complaining about the price tag they had to pay for the "investor" badge  Grin

Now, considered that we don't see many other viable options to advertise, we are doubling up and we will exhibit also in Las Vegas at the same Blockshow event.

What are your opinion? Are there best ways to approach people interested in crypto?

Of course, we are here to answer any questions you might have. We have published our white paper here

Soon, we will release some bounty activities to earn some tokens without paying. We will ask to complete some easy tasks like retweet and joining our telegram channel. We have decided to keep it small and to avoid the typical bounty hype.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scaling a small ICO into a huge project: www.scientificcoin.com on: June 18, 2018, 05:51:54 AM
Quick note: we will be exhibiting at Blockshow Las Vegas on 21-22 August. We were also in Berlin last month and it was an amazing opportunity to gain visibility and partnership opportunities. I would be glad to meet in person to explain more about this project
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Scaling a small ICO into a huge project: www.scientificcoin.com on: June 17, 2018, 02:08:55 PM
A few months ago I had the opportunity to help Healthmonitor.pro team to raise around $500k for a small project based on an IP developed by the University of Novosibirsk.
In Russia, especially in Siberia, many IPs are not brought to market for missing funds: the local VC network is not as strong as in USA or EU and sanctions have further reduced the amount of money for investment.

So, what to do? Just to accept that some very interesting researches are not being developed on the market? We think differently and our past experience with Health Monitor proved that there is room for a coin to support promising scientific projects.

In few words, we are introducing a cryptocurrency to cover the special needs of the scientific projects. We are employing:
a) a crowdfunding platform (to get listed projects will have to go through a voting system and score high in our algorithm validation - we use past data to validate project % to be successful)
b) a freelancer platform
c) a learning environment

Our team is mostly based on talents from the Novosibirsk ecosystem (the largest research center in Russia). We were also able to secure a couple of partnerships with local institutions. Of course, our aim is to grow worldwide and that's why we need additional funds (mostly to pay for the marketing costs). We are already developing our platform in beta version and we plan to release the final version by Feb 19.

Token holders will get a 5% from all the sum raised through the platform plus something else from the freelancer platform and the learning environment.

Currently, we are in the pre-sale phase and we don't plan to do an ICO: we have invested highly our own funds and we are mostly looking big partners to help with marketing and promotions.
For any question, don't hesitate to contact me at mauro.biasolo@scientificcoin.com
Best,
Mauro

509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you join ICOs that requires KYC? on: June 17, 2018, 08:42:04 AM
I do participate: what's the problem? I have a single account with my name... the issue if for the guys participating with multiple accounts: of course, they violate the campaign rules
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get fast rich in crypto world. on: June 17, 2018, 08:39:29 AM
Never get to engaged in High Yield Investment Platforms and also what is the real secret is education, knowledge, wisdom. Educate yourself to the things what you need to know about crypto. Its not about experience and how long or many years did you engaged in crypto but how you managed your daily life learning every single day.

Yes, completely agree. Probably, there are moments where everybody can profit from markets (a long bull run, for example) but, generally, you will have to put a lot of efforts to create a stable/solid wealth stream
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed and crypto !! on: June 12, 2018, 11:26:43 AM
You seem a little coin addicted  Grin I would suggest to calm down: many are suggesting to buy coins now, for example, because we are in a dip. I'm not sure, since things could be much worse than this.
So, I'd suggest to plan a strategy and stick to it.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to ask, what is the name of altcoins that can beat bitcoin on: June 11, 2018, 07:44:36 PM
so far, none has the potential to beat bitcoin. Not only is a very solid technology but also large investors favor it for the larger cap and trading volume. I think, things can't change in the next 2-3 years
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use MEW? on: June 11, 2018, 07:42:53 PM
MEW is will never get old nor abandoned. It's still the safest for me. MEW + Metamask and you're fine, so long as you're not careless with your private keys or enter you private keys in a phishing site.

Do agree. My Ether wallet is not bad at all but make attention to the correct internet address. So far, people were scammed with phishing and a DNS change in the USA
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Your Job is The Worst Idea on: June 10, 2018, 06:33:41 AM
I think it mostly depends on your current income/aspiration. Also, which job are you going to do in crypto.
Of course, I would never leave my job for being a full-time bounty hunters Cheesy But there are other jobs in cryptos who start to be very interesting.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters should be paid in ETH on: June 10, 2018, 06:31:51 AM
this will hardly happen because dev team prefers to keep ETH and give away their tokens (more or less free).
If they would pay in ETH they would avoid the after-ICO dump from bounty hunters but they seem not to care much about this aspect
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Make Money While You Sleep on: June 10, 2018, 06:29:25 AM
If you want to earn while sleeping, you can try mining cryptocurrency. In this way, whatever you do just run your mining rig and you will earn at the same time. This only requires huge capital because of the cost of video cards.

"Huge capital" is definitely a problem, because I don't think that everyone can afford the mining rigs which can cost many thousands of USD per piece. Only those with funds available with them can engage in mining.

Yes, to mine you will need a decent investment and not everybody can afford it. Also, pay attention to your electricity bill!  Wink
Other way around, you could start mining smaller coins and hope they will rise in the future
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it right time to buy Altcoin? on: June 10, 2018, 06:27:13 AM
I think that time is always right, if you buy the right coin. The key word WHAT not WHEN. Because with long-term investment, the time of purchase and price do not matter much.

Fully agree: of course, everybody would like to buy the dip and hope for a steady rise but this is hard to do. Most of the time, to make money, you must buy good assets. And you will find them by studying and learning

519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people don’t believe in crypto? on: June 05, 2018, 07:52:55 PM
Mostly don't believe because they don't know anything about it: maybe the watched a tv show talking about scammers, etc. A few portions don't believe in crypto after they have knowledge in it
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uneducated people join Cryptocurrency? on: June 05, 2018, 05:47:53 AM
Newbies exist in all industries: they enter the market and must pay a fee to gain experience. The more profitable the market, the more we will see. I think it's quite normal and a good sign for the entire industry
