Hey guys, I'm new to the whole ICO world, and BTCtalk as well. I've been reading about a lot of scammy ICOs that take people's money and run away. I'm looking to invest in a couple of ICOs but have no way of knowing if they are good or not. Can anyone tell me how I can go about doing this without losing any money?
To know scam ico you have to do proper research, some team can be deceiving with thier sweet mouth, in this space scammers are too many, i think base on feasibility of white paper whether it's achievable also experience of the team, with that you can at least detect if it's scam or not. |

I think future is not certain, we can't actually say it affirmatively Facebook, samsung and other big companies coming to crypto space will succeed, i will be happy their presence will create more awareness about crypto.

What I've learnt about bounties so far
1)many bounty hunters are joining bounties that has huge stake allocations like 300,000$ upward ,some are even after the 1000000$ ones well I've stop hunting for projects that lure hunters with huge rewards as many of them are plain rubbish
2)I've learn to always join bounties that are already listed and trading with good volume and mind you these bounties always have low bounty rewards like 75k to 100k but there is high assurance of selling your tokens if you wish to ,not keeping coins that will never see the light of the days again ,I mean tokens that will never get listed
3)there are few bounty managers that I respect ,they take there job very serious and I always like to follow them ,waiting for them to launch new bounties ,I prefer to join 4-5 projects in a year than promoting shitcoins
You are right, bounty that allocate enormous reward is possible a fake bounty which is use to lure hunters in to their campaign since the bounty allocation is too huge. |

I think this has signaled the end of cryptopia exchange, it's evident enough that the exchange is going to extinction. when a liquidator is introduced to a company therefore that is the end.

I don't think any exchange can guarantee 100% security, a lot of trust has been placed on binance and at the end it security was breached, the same thing can happen to kucoin.

poloniex era has gone, i am skeptical the exchange will ever rise from the pit again, they had the chance to remain at the top before the emerge of binance, it will be a miracle or a total reformation and good marketing for poloniex to be great again.

I began to think this would be a waste of time with everything I learned because almost all the projects I had followed ended in scammers. Is this a waste of time for me?  I will advise you to take time to study the space before you venture into another therefore are too much fake and scam ico in the space due diligence is important before investing in ico or ieo. |

And now what is your opinion about decentralized exchanges after this event? I think people will finally consider the DEXes more seriously.  As centralized are vulnerable so are decentralized exchanges, dex like ED have been hacked many times, therefore i don't think it's time to consider dex but cex should work more on security of their exchange. |

I think you have really done well to have gathered up to that because i think majority of airdrop are waste of time. You should be happy with what you have been able to gather with airdrop. Bounty is better but you must choose good bounty. |

Facebook is a popular company, if they announce fbcoin it's not certain it will be popular as Facebook, social meida and crypto are two different thing, i hope it could be successful in crypto space as it's in social media. |

I also expected that bitcoin will dump after binance hacked, but seems bitcoin not affected it's increase and reached $6000 price instead. Market sentiment has changed, bad of fud hardly affect price these days seem amateurs who are easily get emotional with negative news are gone. |

Thry didn't lie about what happened, they noticed abnormal movement and announced maintenance which promtrde the second announcement when they have discovered they have been hacked, they are plain about what happened.

Kyc should be done for the team bounty manager and possibly bounty hunter, it is fair that way. It's illogical to ask for kyc from bounty hunters if the team and bounty manager aren't interested to do kyc.

Current dip is opportunity for people with spare cash to buy it is not everybody that a buoyant financially, someone who was unable to take proof in the last boom and is rekt will never see an opportunity in the current market downtrend.

Wallet hacking is very possible, this happen mostly to people who use unverified links they are phished the moment they click on the look alike websites. Don't click on any unverified link it may expose your private key to hackers.
