This is true but we have been studying also some project that seemed more like so and it feel like since lately people go for airdrop a lot for the possible fast pump and dump. For our project where we need to have companies on board using the coin, that will only damage us. Even when we only do bounty, out bounty system (integral to the roadmap itself and not a one off) will make it easy to receive coins making it rather similar to a drop. And that worries us somewhat.
Personally, if I were thinking about doing an airdrop, I'd set up the following rules: - It is done in rounds, spread out over a longer time. That way, the price won't crater once it hits exchanges since the supply is lower than if you do only one, two or three rounds
- For any subsequent round, your wallet address has to hold 75% of the coins given to you in earlier rounds. That means people can trade, but have a big incentive to hold
- Reserve a chunk for companies trying out the product. The first companies that join can get a handful of coins for free
- Think about the technology before so I don't have to do coin-swaps. The recent deluge in coin-swaps only leads to people flipping them, as people with a day job cannot possibly herd a lot of coins all the time. If you have to do a swap, make it open-ended.
- Make sure the business case and the role of the coin are clear from the get-go. People are more likely to hold coins they think will have an inner value in a couple of years than the recent shitcoins.

Where I can get more information about this project? roadmap? and also where to start to become masternode?
It's most likely dead. At least my wallet does not find any peers and therefore cannot sync or stake.

Apologies for not reading better about helium then. However: Since Dash's circulating supply is 7,647M, and spreadcoins supply is 8,991M, how are you going to accumulate 1,344 extra helium to compensate? What happens to the unclaimed spreadcoin? Is there going to be insight in how much premine is going to be kept?
Where does DASH come in? This is a 1:1 drop for SPR holders. So, 8.991m HLM will initially exist. On the very first page of this thread (ever read it?) it reads: * Total Coin Supply 20m * Block release is 7% per year
So, yeah, you are right, if the team stalls the release for 4 weeks, it can mine 0.8%. Whoop-dee-doop, what a scam. Considering this is an airdrop that has been months in the making. PLEASE: before you come barging in with some accusations, at least do your home-work.

Whoops, you need 0.6% of the total coin supply as collateral for one masternode? Good luck with that...
|
|
|
So my Address didn't make it - should I just drop you a new PM?
|
|
|
Are you implementing masternodes? Any expected launch date?
Also noticed Shield popping up on Masternodes.pro so wondering about that as well Seems Masternodes.pro goofed on that, the Shield dev said: As of masternodes, there are none planned yet! I wouldn't even know where you got that information from?

Sent you a PM, I hope I am not too late

Please everyone, do not react to or interact with user CryptoBeto, this will only add fuel to his vendetta.
If you feel inconvenienced by his repetitive spamming of the thread, use the "Report to moderator" feature in the lower right of his posts to report them to the mods.

So the Devs donated a masternode to MnRank to bait everyone with outlandish MN returns...
|
|
|
How is exchange going on cryptopia? When will HLM be actively traded? I hope the sooner the better. This could make DASH a run for the money.
Guys, why don't you read back two pages before asking?

So CryptoBeto uses his wife to set a trap for MikeMike on Twitter? Just when I thought I had seen it all...
@team: this is probably only a foreshock. Expect a lot more nastiness from a bunch of guys who either want to drive down price or attack the project via the persons.
Everyone should think hard about their social web accounts: do you use different and randomly generated passwords everywhere? Google 2FA enabled everywhere? No SMS 2FA? All password related mails going through different and not publicly known GMail accounts? All nudes of you and your girlfriends/wifes removed from online sites (even private ones)? Communications with Bittrex and among yourselves only through signed & encrypted mails and end-to-end encrypted IM's like Signal? All servers locked down and password logins disabled?
Do you have all your crypto possessions in cold storage?
We have seen way too many individuals getting hacked lately, both to expose them and steal their coins. Please don't let this happen to you!
MikeMike: thanks a lot for doing all the heavy-lifting, both in development and communications. Please don't drop out of this project. That said, I applaud the decision to focus on the technical side of things and leave communication to someone else, as you engage way too much with trolls. I've spent quite some time on 4chan and your reactions (understandable as they are) make things worse.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to make some formal introductions today as well as pass along some news on the network: The Helium team is growing and with the launch of the network right around the corner, it is time to introduce to the community some of the faces who will be representing Helium out in the real-world for us.
I am floored. Floored by the amount of competence and crypto experience in the team. Very good news, indeed. Thanks a lot, KarmaShark, for keeping us in the loop like that.

Not to rain on everyone's parade, but that's lunacy. BOS has a max supply of 5bn coins, and even if we only count the sold coins, there is no way it will launch straight in the top 15. $200m seems like a possible figure, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it below $100m. Times aren't great for alts right now and BOS was extremely cheap at ICO, so a lot of scalpers will dump them and still realize their 5x.
You are talking as if the current number in criculation will be 5billion tokens, I believe it is like 500 million tokens for now, the dillema for investors is that the price of Bitcoin has increased significantly after the ICO and some people will be looking at the USD valuation why some people will focus on getting back their BTC returns I even wrote I am aware not all 5bn are in circulation. But everyone who wants to buy into BOS needs to take the max supply into consideration. If 90% are not in circulation, you have the very real risk of dilution of your purchases later on.

And with that, I close this sorry chapter in my life. I just sold my SCORE for a heavy loss, -77%. Thanks @marksteven for fooling me with your big mouth. I hope our paths don't cross anytime soon, or at least I hope I recognize you and do not fall for the next scam on your part. I am sure the devs will fix this issue, but meanwhile I think we shoud have a bounty campaign for translation into asian language or twitter promotion to spread the word about score!
That's more money down the drain. Well, maybe you can lure some asians into this tar pit and sell for a lower loss... If anyone here still believes this coin has a future, think again. Look at the price, look at the old and this thread and think hard. The later you sell, the heavier your losses. Ask the dev to show his accounts, I bet he sold heavily over the last weeks. Good luck.

BOScoin will launch at $1.5-$3 and fluctuate between.

I will intensify the campaign and will use all the captures I have from Mike so everyone cans see the reality.
Could we get this user removed, please? That kind of mud-slinging helps no one and will poison the thread. @MikeMike: I implore you not to react to this guy anymore, it will do no good. Give him the silent treatment.

If we need Beta Testers we will let you know but it will require an NDA to be signed and Full doxing.
Fair enough. I work in software, so I know how last minute bugs and test regressions can throw you off, so good luck When the time for testers comes, drop me a note.
