This thread is becoming a joke lol whether its true that their CTO is in jail because of whatever reason and the team is a scam just as some claim then I guess that CTO deserves to be there rubbing his bar. To me, I'd like to see this crypto version of AirBNB to be realized.  I hold some of these tokens which is why I want this to have at least a gradual success.
I think we all agree that the idea behind this project to tokenize real estate market and to be the first AirBnB on the blockchain speaks to me even now.
Are they able to do this? This is the real question.

From what I know this is open source and everything is easily available on Github. Bitcointalk is so big and there so many investors and bounty hunters from this community. We need one who will look into this code and tell us what this is and how far they are with development. Is this garbage or worth something? I think there should be somebody willing and able to do.

I don't want to talk any more about price predictions because I don't think we will see any positive movements soon. Short spikes and deeper deeps this looks to me as a killer bearish pattern confirmed from months. What to talk about? You can't win with facts.
let's wait for platform launch. team still paying to bounty hunters. if they keep their words with bounty question..
That would be a good achievement and it will definitely help the price of ATL token to  increase.
Without the platform, everything we hear is just a mere speculation and in overall the market is not good so it's hard for ATL to rise.

There is still a problem with regulations in different countries. I just can't figure it out how such a property can be legally tokenized online.
Who will be the owner if I buy 51% of tokens available? I have hundreds of other questions and can't find the answer in Atlant white paper.
If they only will rent properties then this will be a lot easier but buying and selling involve a lot of paperwork which can't be done online. I hope not but this could be too soon for such a project. I don't think any country is prepared for this and needed regulations don't exist yet. Everybody is excited and talking about the platform launch but I don't think this is the key to Atlant success.

I agree 100%. I thought their business model was flawed from the beginning and I don't see how it can work in the real world. I still follow the project out of curiosity since it'll be very interesting to see how it all plays out. My guess is that they will shift their business model once they realize this one doesn't work.

I have been following this coin since last year. Made some decent scratch selling the highs, but lately this coin has left me wanting more. I know this coin is "shrouded in secrecy" but come on. I feel like stuff from this year to last year has been a tad misleading. But I could be completely wrong if they are truly doing what they plan on doing.

I know. It's hard to make educated decisions when there's so little transparency about what's going on.

I mean details that an investor would want to see. Purchase price relative to sales comps, rental comps, budget, proforma return, etc. I assume they put together an internal investment committee memo prior to making the acquisition, so all this info should be readily available. It's also the type of info that should be provided for all investments once the platform is live, so I think it's reasonable to expect them to share it for this one as well...it would be helpful to see how they are underwriting.


Agree they could provide in advance if they wanted.

Also they should consider a buy back of some tokens as they are cheap now. low token value is bad for the 4M reserve tokens they have

Actually, a buy back might not be a bad idea if it's accretive to the token value. It's probably worth looking into.

Has populus got any customers as yet or signed up any deals last thing I read that a few things fell through
There is no recent news from Populous team, I know that there is a delay at the launch of BETA and they give a reward to who can solve the bug or error code, we are still waiting for good news.

I'm not sure if you missed it or just don't consider it good news (in the scale of a large deal with a multinational) but the first invoice sold on the Populous platform was repaid the other day and so the first blockchain invoice factoring has taken place. First mover advantage has been locked in. They are still not at 'full live' version but invoices are available for purchase and things are moving quickly. I would recommend following Populous and Steve Nico on twitter and keeping up with their posts on Medium.

It's exciting that the first invoice has already been repaid and a new one has been issued, but it's frustrating that they KYC us taking so long.

That FUD maybe is happening because they just want to see a lower price to buy.
I think it will not happen especially now that the team are now spending more effort to develop the project.

With this kind of news and being one of the member of Atlant team, it obviously created an impact in the project specially to its price. That's why the price of ATL token had a great fall back because of this issue. Even if the team said that this has nothing to do with the Atlant project, they still can't deny that he's still part of the team and used the source code of the crypto-currency exchange Spacebtc.com in the same project.

So what will gonna happened next? Inspite of waiting for 14 more months to be paid completely, market recovery isn't the answer since the ATL token falls deeply this time.

I see no reason to keep this token or buy. The technical director is accused of fraud. He is currently arrested. Every month, bounty members receive a million tokens and sell them on the exchange. They push the price down. It will take a year and a half. I think that the detention of their technical director is just the beginning, unknown what will happen to the project next. Perhaps the project will die in half a year. Why should a large player buy this token? Why should I keep this token? There are many good projects that you need to pay attention to.

This is right. It's a weak model with a fragile team and token supply issues. There are too many things going against the company right now.

I was hoping there was more detail. This basically just says that they acquired properties, but doesn't really provide details that a typical investor would want to see. I know the platform isn't ready yet, but it would still be nice to have a better sense of how good an investment it is.

I want to see more details too. But it is also logical that they if they give all the details on the platform as they indicated.

Why would that be logical? I think it would make more sense to provide as much info about the deal as possible.

Hi guys. For a long time I did not come here. what's new? is there any news? I unfortunately can not for myself make clear conclusions about this project and the team

shortly: the price was fall. ceo under home arrest, the team keep working on platform and keep paying bounty monthly. sum: comunity still speaking about atlant.

I believe it was the CTO, not the CEO who was placed under house arrest. It's still a pretty big blow though since they are a small team and this is a very complex platform. To be honest, I gave them less than a 50% chance of success even without the CTO issue.

The fact that verifications are taking so long is beginning to frustrate me. I've been a strong supporter for a while (and still am), but they should really be making much better progress on this end.

It is a shame that the price of PPT keeps falling even though the market is showing some small signs of recovery. Is there any specific reason for the continuous drop in price or are just the old whales cashing out whatever profit they have made and moving on? I know many projects take time to generate real business, but I am feeling a little despondent that the main holders are just squeezing out the juice of the lemon and selling off large holdings or are doing their utmost to just keep the price low and suppressed right now. I am still holding but I hope it does not go any lower.

I think it's still a residual effect from the recent FUD. I don't see a serious recovery happening until invoices really start trading.

I am sure some investors think like you do, but remember that this month has not ended yet so we better wait until it's over.
Some project loves to make a thrill and do give update at the last deadline, I hope Atlant would do the same so investors will be happy for this month.

A lot of projects have deadlines in March but every project, as you point out, has their own (or not) strategy in order to keep their investors up to date or thrilled.

I'm sadly enough still waiting on ATLANT to comment on the QUOINEX-listing that was announced in October to be done in December last year though...

Page 6 of ATLANT's white paper shows three funded assets (Figure 3). Have any assets been tokenized, or is this just a sample of what a screen would look like if any assets were ever funded?

You highlighted a section related to credit unions, but Populous is not a credit. Even if they are a CDFI, the link you quoted specifically says that they are not subject to the Credit Unions Act.
