I see a lot of people talking about when to sell; but I think that buying is as important if not more (obviously you buy* low -_-). so do you guys aim to buy the lowest low of the day/week/month/... and do you think that is riskier and/or hard to predict. do you wait for price reversals? do you follow expert advice?? please share your thoughts and your stories (successful or otherwise  ) For me, there is no perfect timing to buy Bitcoin. Why ? Because bitcoin value was so volatile it changing oftenly. Maybe the price of now for you was so high, but as the time goes by the price you think is high , was the lowest price in the present. That I dont believe in the perfect timing , if want to invest now start it now. Buy BTC and hold it until the ideal price for came then exchange it. |

I already stop gambling when the half of my capital are already consume. Or if ever I already triple my capital. Ill stop my game for a while. I do it to avoid so much loss. And I dont see any problem with it im just being wise and practical with my money. And its important if you have a goal to be rich someday. |

I'm watching the bitcoin for a few months now, saw it going up from $2,000 to over $8,000 in just 6 months.
What shook me up this morning is a notification I got by email saying it's over $8,000!! Bitcoin is up by 43% in a single month.
The big question is, will we see $10K soon, perhaps before the end of the year, or what are you guys expecting to see in the next few months?
I've been trading Forex in the past, today mainly US Stocks, but have no clue what to expect from Bitcoin.
Is it still a good time to buy, or should I wait more and see what's going on in the next 6 months? Any thoughts?
Yes it is still good. Actually it is much better if you have an investment in bitcoin because it can give you a good profit. Because of the high exchange rate. But if you are asking if it is the right time to buy btc , then I dont think so because you can still wait for it to go down a little bit so you could buy. And sell it you a higher price. |

You should wait and keep calm, the market try to find their pattern. BTC price too high to buy and too many news about btc that can give negative impact into it. This is the end of the year, everything could happen and we need to prepare about the risk. For safety, I suggest you buy btc after the end of the year and try to find the buy area using long period time. Have a nice day.
Every people has different target about their bitcoin. For me now its time to sell and i will buy back in some low point because i am waiting for correction. I will suggest you not to sell all your bitcoin. The best practice which you can do in this aspect is that you can sell few of your bitcoins and then you can re-invest that money into bitcoin again as well as you can make something productive out of that money. The rest of bitcoin, you need to keep them in your wallet as the market price of bitcoin will rise high in the coming days as well which actually means more profit. Damn its gone from $11k to $15k in what 3 days? This is too insane. There's gotta be a correction coming in the next few days.
To find exact price of bitcoin I think it’s very difficult but its very clear and confirm that the price of bitcoin will be high and it’s also confirm that bitcoin will reached to the record price this year if we compare the price of bitcoin with last year so its price is very high then before and that one of the good quality in bitcoin that it trying to push it price from high to highest that why everyone want to join bitcoin and next year its users will be more increased then this year which will make bitcoin more a strong and powerful. The end of 2017 the price predictions will be in the range of $13k-$15k definitely because the price reach $17 k arround and fall down $12k -13k and it's in $14k so it continues goes up and down and it reached a record price comparison of last year but it rate was not constant so in the end of December last it continues happen like this only in between this chistmase also there so the end of this year suerly price predictions in between $13k -$15k absolutely. Well in my own point of view I think bitcoin will continue to in increase as the month goes by. It happen that BTC already reaches $17,000-$18,000 last week. And now it gradually fall down without a clear vision what is affecting with it that cause fall down. But im sure after this quite fall down bitcoin will rises again and reach $19,000-$20,000 before the end of the year. We all know that bitcoin can do it because of the huge demand in the market. |

It ain't about the centralized vs decentralized but it's about the fact of which one is more convenient, if I get to convert my crypto currencies into fiat directly with a fair fee and done easily I would but what is more convenient for me? the most reliable and simplest method for now is for me to first convert them into Bitcoin and then into local currency not because there are no buyers or service providers accepting them but because the easiest way is to forget about finding the right people to use the coins directly without needing to exchange to fiat at all, fortunately Bitcoin is heading the right direction where we always wanted it, having the ability to only use it as the mainstream currency.

So I dont even need to go to the shop and directly pay my bills i'll just use my bitcoin. i see the future. ether will be 1k$ in 2018.  I dont think its a good idea, to invest all your money in just one altcoin. Its still be nicer if you have a variety of investment. If you have a back-up so incase that the value of the first coin you invest fall down you still have a reserve. bitcoin reaches $17,200 and now still growing,this scenarios has been speculated but not this big the expectation is about $15,00 but it took more than what expected very huge that no one has ever think it could hit.the whole cryptocurrenct now is dominated by bitcoin and we really dont know what is happening. Correct me if im wrong , but the highest amount that bitcoin reach this month was almost $18,000. And still continue rising. And as you notice the year was not year done and a long way to go. Whether gambling is a sin depends on your own morals. For me I see nothing wrong with gambling I gamble for fun not profit. I can see how some cultures can see gambling as a sin as there are problems associated with it that can affect people and the people about them.
That's true it depends on how you'll take things deep or light. When we gamble and we don't intend to hurt other feelings then that is just fine and you are not robbing others money then that's going to be a good thing as a gambler. Considering gambling itself for those people who believe it is a sin because it feel like robbing money from other people. I mean you take the other people money when you wager and won it as in the other side there is someone who lost at the same time. If you don't believe in that kind thought and just feel it fine then it is okay. That's by far in my understanding when you believe that you are robbing from others money just because you are gambling? It's quite different feeling that when you gamble you had to think that way, I believe that there might be people who are thinking that way but they are few. Few but there is , and it is could be a big deal for them . As long as you feel you are not makes other people in disadvantage then fine go ahead continue it and don't feel guilty. It is just for some people who feel that way and reasonable enough isn't it? How can you win on that 3x multiplier for example, where it come from? It come from other people losing! Simple make it as a sin for them. Yep few but there is. That's what every gambler must do that we don't have to give other people some headache when it comes to gambling so that we do gamble with caution and not harming other people. Doing such things that are against the law when you gamble will do really result you to commit a crime. I think its really depend on how your going to look it. I sold some at 10,900 hoping it will fall again to rebuy in the 9000's as I purchased some around 10,300... Do you guys think another temporary slump will happen soon? Or cut my losses and rebuy now at over 11k?
In my perception, I dont think there will have a fall down before this year end. But a continue increase of bitcoin value . I think it goes up high it $12,500 by the end of the year. But I also think that after thia year the bitcoin price will start to fall down in order to balance this community. I think its still secure if the wallet you are using are really trusted by many users.although we done that cryptocurrency was done online and many hackers are there. I have recently took investing on poloniex serious. Ever since I've invested the alt coins have been down. Do the amount of coins I posses go up if I stay. Also, do I have to wait for the coins to go back to their original price that I bought fo in order to make a profit? What are the reasons to holding if prices are down? Thank-you.
If Im in your position, I think it will be a big decision to make. Its hard to hold on , in something you see any progress especially in price. Because it means that the coin you are hold , doesn't have a potential to regain its value after a big fall down. So my advise to you, maybe its time to give up the coin you are holding. You better sell it and choose another coin that is better than that coin. |
