no its not only for the profit but early altcoins and some new altcoins have been created to offer something that can help btc and its users and this altcoins that are useful can have a good value and can stay long.

i dont think that was the main reason why they lose but i think the main reason is lack of knowledge .
panic could come next and panic occurs when they hear something negative or when they saw the price is falling . you could still loose even if your only chilling because your forgetting to check the price.

I don't know if you're saying this from the heart but I won't dare to hold my Bitcoin while my stomach is hungry... people work hard to fill their stomachs to stay full, many even pick up leftovers food just to fill their stomachs. I am also a BTC holder but when I have to be forced to exchange it to fiat then I will do that. maybe he have other sources to get money and to buy a food? but he only dont want to use his btc no matter what . well that was his decision but for us we dont mind spending some btc to full fill our needs and no need to find money somewhere else because btc is also a money and its available on hand. btc fluctuates and the price could come down for us to buy again. After all, buying food is a basic human need, without food humans can die. It is better to sell the Bitcoins that we have if we are hungry, unless we have other sources of income to buy food, not selling the Bitcoins we have it's fine. Because for me buying food is an important thing that must be fulfilled, if I really had to sell my Bitcoins to buy food, I will do it. I always buy Bitcoin with extra money, meaning that after all my needs are met, and it turns out that there is still money left, then I will buy Bitcoin. this is a good example that all of us will do because investing is risky and there could be no assurance that our expectations will met but buying the things that are more important is guaranteed to make our life a little better . if we are hungry we cant also think properly and it can lead to poor spending of btc or worst we can get sick . |

i know there is a term when a person get attracted to new things and that is what your feeling right now but later on you will regret and say that you shouldnt sell your btc to buy it.
that was new and its reputation is nothing when compare to btc .

btc can grow in price but we dont know when it will happen and it could not grow continously but downs can be experience sometimes .
this could hold back your gains as a holder but if your trading, you can take advantage on this situation and you can fasten up your earnings but holding is never been a bad idea .

this happens to me before . i dreamed of betting and then winning the jackpot but later i woked up and realized its only just a dream .

It comes to this time that most of people are having interest in Bitcoin and it becomes their favorite because of its price, not how it is valued in our lives and in the future. Well, they are right as we can really make money from investing in Bitcoin far from how altcoins can give us. we are a proof and the time btc spent is another proof that btc is a good coin compare to shitcoins out there. i have a friend and i recomend btc to him once after he ask for help with crypto investment but he choses the shitcoins because theres another person that gave him advices and he got tempted to the gains made by that guy but he dont end up in the same path. i bet he is regretting now |
