63  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 0.03 BTC to 3 BTC Challenge on: December 01, 2017, 02:37:51 PM
First of all, good luck and may the success come very soon Smiley I disagree with a lot of people in here that your starting amount is too low. Simply because btc can be split into such tiny fractures and the bittrex min. amounts are quite low, this should work out just fine.

x100 increase it not so big challenge. I wish you good luck and I think you will touch your target amount soon. But don't stop when you reach 1 BTC, it is not enough

x100 increase in fiat is not too difficult. But 0.03 btc to 3 BTc is not easy.

You two, really standard point of view imo. I mean who doesnt x100 his fiat net worth from time to time because he wants to buy a lambo or a 2nd home.. its just too easy isnt it ^^
64  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: minimum amount to start trading? on: December 01, 2017, 02:30:01 PM
I was one of the lucky ones to suggest investing on bitcoin to my fiance when price was lower than $2500 Cheesy I told him to buy as many as he can afford and he did, I had 20 bitcoins at my disposal to play with as he liked to put it, But ever since price increased above $4500 he took them from me, Because once I almost lost 3 bitcoins in a stupid trade. More you have to invest you could either lose more or gain more, With bitcoin there is no middle. If you have $500 you can't expect to earn more than $5 daily, So if you can put $5000 you'll earn a $50 potentially if you know what you are doing.

In a market where barely ANY coin EVER has a volatility of less than 2%/day, how can 500$ not expect to earn more than 5$/day?

This makes no sense, I mean if we talk about a long term investment that looks promising we could talk about 0,x%/day of earnings, but if you are trading, unless you only put 5-10% of your bankroll at risk, I am pretty sure you either gain way more than 1% or lose way more than 1% per day

saying you could net an avg of 5$/day with a 500$ starting roll is such a random guess xd
65  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: btc target on: December 01, 2017, 02:25:31 PM
I think that the next taget of BTC is $20 thousand and it might happen in 2018 or even earlier. After that it will go up to get to $50K.  Grin

I think I can earn limited amount of money every month. I want to invest my money in trading. How can I get a good
a good amount profit every month??How I research the market? How to find out the good coin to invest? Thanks in advance ....

This is the most simplest thing you can think of at this time because you have made your way to the section of the forum that is dedicated for such so all you need is to take one thread after the other and start digesting it even up to 36 pages and I am sure before you get to the 5th thread you would have been loaded with enough information to know the next time to take while the whole of the question you asked for, answers to them would have surfaced even beyond your imagination.

As a hero member and as someone who has been around here for way longer than I am, this advice seems quite poor ... Most of the people I see in the trading section promote their own portfolio and nothing else.. and if one of their assets is steadily declining, they try to hype it up with a thread or two.

Tbh the time people name the coins for a short-term trading profit in here is the time its already too late to get into the pump.

But thats just my 2c, im sure you can just use a little money and go for olubams strategy, chances are it will work out.

An analogy to Siacoin in terms of charts... its slowly dying and everyone is sure it got to get back up soon, but I dont see it happening before they deliver something consistently..
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sia Coin Will Be Pumped! on: December 01, 2017, 10:27:43 AM
*Guess I whouls go and buy a crypto thats dipping and dying for months and then make a thread on here about how whales are about to pump it and how everyone should get in right now!*
69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to become a TRADER on: December 01, 2017, 09:36:21 AM
Basically its the same as with every profession, be it a "real" job or sports betting or poker or whatever.. you might do a lucky trade once or twice, but in the long run you need the necessary knowledge to win against the market/people you are up against - and that means, studying - regularly/ daily to keep up with them
70  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUY high sell low ? on: December 01, 2017, 12:14:57 AM
this thread is awesome

according to half the people in here "buy high sell low" is totally not what they want and certainly not what traders do and basically what nobody in crypto does.

Well guess what guys, obv there are traders doing that, and a lot of other people, otherwise this market wouldnt be as volatile and with such a high trade volume as it is right now.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Volatility - Somebody is fucking around. on: November 29, 2017, 08:45:24 PM
"somebody"

people buy btc

people sell btc

price rises too fast - people buy loads

after that people sell loads - price drops

its no witchcraft
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins/icos to buy and hold on: November 29, 2017, 06:31:54 PM
I prefer these coins .

GOOD COINS TO HOLD

BITTREX EXCHANGE : QTUM, EDG, XEL, STRAT, PAY, LBC, STRAT
BINANCE EXCHANGE : WALTON (IMPORTANT), ENG
CRYPTOPIA EXCHANGE : MSP (IMPORTANT), BIS, BKCAT, EMB
ETHERDELTA EXCHANGE : TNT, LRC, SUB, CCT
BITFINEX : ETP, LRC
NOVA EXCHANGE : BCO (IMPORTANT)

IF YOU HAVE MORE $- BTC, ETC, LTC, ETH, OMG, NEO

There surely are several coins you list that have huge potential, but listing all of your portfolio wont help, even IN ALL CAPS, a beginner where to put his 1k$. I mean obv you can just go ahead and drop 50$ on each of these coins, but id always prefer to rather put 1k into a steady, big coin and put a few bucks you can spend on the side into smaller coins. after all its a gamble short-mid term anyway, since shitcoins get pumped and solid coins simply "die" over the course of a few months before getting back to life.

Simply dont check charts that often if you are holding for the long term and also dont keep all coins on exchanges - if your "long term" really means long term as in 2-3 or 5 years.

73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins/icos to buy and hold on: November 29, 2017, 06:08:59 PM
longterm cryptos: BTC, ETH, mb Dash/Monero and OMG

as for ICOs - read into this whole scheme first before you start dropping money in it. Every idea starts an ICO these days and mostly they dont deliver. There may be great ICos to join and sell the token right after for some profit, but thats a gamble. For longterm holdings ICO-wise its quite tough and I would just try to find promising projects with a good team and rep.

best of luck
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Oh my God bitcoin reached 11000 on: November 29, 2017, 05:56:24 PM
Its stunning that it cracked the 10k mark this quick, the high at over 11k is rather expected after the 10k marked such an impressive psychological height.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin reached $100! on: November 29, 2017, 03:57:09 PM
If only LTC kept up its relative BTC value, it would be at 120-150$+ already

Still ncie to see it grow, a lot of coins just stay at their current price and decrease in btc-value even further.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or BTG on: November 29, 2017, 12:29:48 PM
BTC all the way, lets talk in a year from now - longterm holder shouldnt think twice - there is no second choice
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 100x? on: November 29, 2017, 12:05:58 PM
Judging from your peoples posts - yes, any coin that has a marketcap below lets say 5, 10 or even 20 (maybe even 40-50?) M$ has the chance to his x100 withhin a few months/ year / whatever..

But that doesnt mean it will .. Just read through several yet undervalued coins and see what seems to have the biggest potential mid-long term - these coins will grow, get pumped eventually and youll be able to make a nice profit..

But I see coins posted in here that are only posted because the poster bought them and they are at a low marketcap - which is by no means a guarantee that itll x100 or even x2 at all
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has reached the $10,000, is now the time to sell up and move on? on: November 29, 2017, 12:02:52 PM
The problem most people who simply held on to their BTC until now cant see is that in case there is a massive correction (which is not too unlikely altho the current trend says MOON) people wont get out in time

I mean some will for sure, but most wont - and simply lose value there.. Not saying BTC wont recover rather quickly if a correction happens, but most these holders wont be able to make profit out of a correction.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many coins should you HODL? on: November 26, 2017, 04:54:00 PM
Problem with the market currently is - no matter how promising a project is, if there are no news related to it for a few weeks, the price will keep declining on a slow pace. That said especially now that BTC is booming it looks like there are no other attractive coins, but thats because the way you look at the market right now is mostly a very short-term view. The decline in coins you thought were promising might just be temporary and the coin might hit x10 your initial purchase price withhin a few months or years, but since the price might as well decline by another 20-30% or even 40-50% over the next few months, the big coins just seem to be a much better pick right now. Only other coins that are having big growth are pumped coins atm. If you plan to invest long term - pick your favourite project and dont check market everyday all day for the current price. Leave it and come back in 2 years. If youre constantly active checking the market, the big coins might be more favourable for your soul.

thats just my 2c
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 PUMP GROUP THAT PUMP COINS TO THE MOON🌙 🌙🌙 on: November 26, 2017, 03:36:38 PM
Joined group out of curiousity, looked at history of posts

figured this is anything but a group of "professionals"

I mean "hyping" a coin on all social media platforms by creating a post with the exact same title and content like "X coin will go to the moon" and copy pasting it to every social media community there is withhin a few minutes

That plan and schedule was really made up by *professionals*
