wow, what happened to the market today ? I 've been busy today and find every coin I hold took a dip... do you think verge will rise again or should we take profit when they're still here ? quite funny how its nice to have a coin go x20 withhin a week, but if it dips 10-20%, I read this got to be kidding anyway, it was pumped hard, so get out there just kidding, itll keep being bullish or wait.. lets see

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Can the current growth be healthy?
|

Do not get me wrong, of course this is a great time for crypto. But apparently every single coin except very few is rising by 2-digit percentages right now.
This growth of course cannot be maintained, but can this even be healthy for the market as a whole? This is currently pumping up way too hard. We went from below $500B to $650B total market cap over the course of a few days. On the one hand this makes me happy, but I have a lot of doubts for the near future.
Thats just my 2c

Its more about risk aversion, but if you analyze the market mid-term, apparently the best way is to spend more btc on alts when they are dipping. then again you never know how far the are dipping and you might just lose btc-value compared to staying in btc. Thats why there is no 100% in this game called trading, but once alts drop a significant amount and you believe in them long-term, throwing more money in cant be a bad thing eh? Just look at e.g. IOTA, Moncacoin and some others. they dipped for a while but then they broke out big time, so buying at the bottom or at least at what looks like a bottom cannot be too bad unless its a shitcoin

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time to Become a Trader

If youre looking to start trading cryptos
DO NOT start right now.
I mean sure this might seem like the best time to get rich quick, because coins are more volatile then ever. But dont, especially if youre no experienced trader elsewhere, start trading now.
This is my personal opinion and my 2cents.
Build a portfolio, buy alts now thatthey are low, but dont daytrade if youre new to this world. The market right now is simply too insane and irrational to handle

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount

In my opinion, If you just have a small amount money, you should invest in Bitcoin. This is due to of the fact that Bitcoin price is too high now. how is this in any way a good advice lol? If you want to make x10 or x100 your money, read through ICOs or coins with small marketcaps, see how their dev team and community is doing and whether they have the potential to rise to the top, then invest. If you want to stay safe, buy one of the "standard" cryptos like xmr, eth, ltc, iota or well.. btc, when it dips again

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump and Dump. How to make a profit?

Simple pump and dump on shitcoins is quite risky, because the pumps dont last long and if you miss the right moment, you might even be left with a loss.... those are often done by little groups of individuals that have some money available. Donttry to jump on something unless youre sure what youre doing there. Its more profitable to simply read the signs, discuss and get a little support to take into consideration from signal groups that mostly give signals based on news or big announcements coming up and not on "we pump coin XXX that has 0.03 btc volume right now". There are several discord channels for this, I like this one ( https://discord.gg/uPq9tXn) as its also 24/7 discussion about crypto in general - the discussion is worth it, take signals at your own risk and dont take them as granted profit of course. Do your own research.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isit worth withdrawing $20 in Bitcoin

Well if you just plan to buy, sure you can if someone offers this small of a btc-fracture.. just make sure not to transfer this amount anywhere because that will already et up half the value. but for storing it somewhere you purchased it, itll be just fine and you can add more later on before its worth to deposit the bunch to a safer wallet/exchange or whereever you wanna put it.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / If you consider buying now, because some talk about the $15k hype, reconsider!
|
on: December 03, 2017, 11:20:36 AM

I know its tempting, and especially if youre just getting into BTC and crypto you dont want to miss another hypetrain to $15k without having invested before. But be sure not to buy the actual ATH - another sort of correction is about to hit BTC, may it be today, tomorrow or withhin the next weeks. And there will be this opportunity to buy BTC at least a little cheaper then before it takes off to $XXk again!
Just be sure to have your CC ready when the dip hits.
Mark my words.
Have a nice sunday

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: if the BTC could reach 100k or even more then it doesn't matter to buy now?
|
on: December 02, 2017, 03:41:48 PM

Ok, vielen Dank!
Still buying in at a BTC price of 10k$ for 1000$ (which is already a lot for a many people to put at stake) and netting 0.1 BTC feels kind of lowballing compared to buying 1 full coin, be it ETH, BTC or whatever. Its a psychological thing.
People who want to invest 10k$ might go and buy 1 BTC, people who only want to invest a few 100 or 1k$ are in doubt because their return of 0.xx BTC just seems so low.
Its a psychological thing for a lot of people imo. People said it was too late at 100$, they said its too late at 1.000$ and they certainly say its too late at 10.000$, and trust me - there wont be less posts about it once we hit 100.000$
