Beta testing is after ICO? So people will invest their money to a technology that they didn't see or demonstrate? I wish they have a video, teaser or else but anyway hopefully they have a good plan about this situation.

For ethereum based tokens myetherwallet is the best way. It is very easy, fast and secure. Don't hold your coins at the markets it can be risky and if you have large figures you should use offline wallets. Offline wallets keeps hackers away from your coins.

I think you are mistaken, people got smarter in this period and they are investing in right projects, there are great projects like Envion, Semux, Modultrade or else. I think you opened this thread with a catchy headline to gain some youtube views which is not right for my opinion.

More and more people everyday getting into the cryptoworld, they always start with bitcoin and ethereum than enter the altcoin world:) today my 3 managers invested some amount in DOGE, XLM and XRP.  Thanks to word of mouth, prices getting higher and people create ways to double their capital. So altcoins is the best way to do that besides bitcoin. Because of this, investing in altcoins is increasing everyday. So 2018 will be a good for all cryptos.

and definitely the greatest, some Bitcoin.

I am expecting very much from ICON(ICX) and Stellar Lumens, their prices increased in last months but their potential is much more higher than now.

Icon will be the next ethereum.

500 usd is an unrealistic target for 2018. maybe in a farther future but not 2018. If mainnet release succeeds, we can see 20 usd in the very near future and 50-60 usd before the end of 2018. Icon has a great potential and labelled as an alternative to Ethereum network. I have some in my portfolio and very happy with it.

I dont think dethroning Bitcoin is possible in the near future, Because yes sometimes Bitcoin lacks speeds, expensive fees etc., its always be the GOLD (like an indicator) of cryptocurrency market. Maybe Ethereum can gain momentum or any new coin (ripple, iota etc) but they can never dethrone Bitcoin.
Also lightning network update will increase popularity of Bitcoin more and more.

I have 2 big mistakes in cryptoworld,

1. selling sumokoin when the price is around 2.5 dollars
2. selling storm and sugar tokens around 0.1 eth for each, now they are above the moon.

But these things can happen, so this is what elder people says " learning."

Other than those sometimes i win some lose some from the daytrading, but i dont name them as mistakes.

Even these days ethereum stayed above 1000 usd, even 1100 usd. 2018 will be the year of Ethereum of course. Bitcoin wont be dethroned this year but we can see those days in maybe 2019. This year i am expecting 4000 usd level.

Now with the price falls, people become pessimistic about the future pricing. But I can recall bitcoin price is around 5000 usd about june 2017. Look how far we came, we were joking about 20000 usd, now we are talking about 40000 usd, with lightning network popularity of bitcoin will increase and we can easily see 40000 usd or above before the end of 2018

I think market is making some corrections these days, so price drops are fairly normal. In these correction times, I think huge opportunities can happen to enter the coins whichever you wanted. Almost every coin in my investment basket dropped about %5-%10 just today. Closely watch the prices and enter at some point. Dont miss out the opportunity.

You can try Binance, IOTA has a great technology and a bright future ahead. In 2018 more partnerships will start and IOTA definitely increase. So if you buy IOTA don't panic in price fluctuations and HODL.

I think Cardano(ADA) can fit to your requirements, also if you can increase a little bit more around 1.30 usd, you invest in bread(brd), stellar lumens(xlm) and enjin coin (enj). These are my "hot prospects of the future" coins for 2018.
Tron coin(trx) is also so popular nowadays so you can think that one too.

the first thing you should(what i did when i start) spend some time in this forum, there are lots of threads for beginners wander and read them, ask some questions in those areas. A lot of coins/tokens claimed that they can solve freelancers problems, taking out the middlemans from the system, reliable fast cheap transactions or else. So my question is what is your difference than the other freelancer coin solutions?

I prefer cardano, because if i'm remembering right, japanese people are supporting it and i watched their youtube videos which are solid and informative, besides that its philosophy said that Cardano never needs any fork, any upgrades or fault solutions can be made when system is up and running. Also Charles Hoskinson who is one of the ethereum founders, is working with Cardano. So as I said before, I prefer Cardano.

If you are talking about the ripple(xrp), it can double or more.. I invested some of my money to ripple when it is 1.30 usd, now 2.32 usd and keeps increasing, ripple is signing contracts with major banks about banks use their technology in money transfers. its major difference than the other coins is it has a centralized system, this can increase interest of the banks.
