Before we talk of exchange can we help other members like me on how to sync their litecoincash wallet, it will take me a year or two before I can finally sync my wallet, by then this coin is dead I am stuck to 6 years to go since day one.
Download bootstrap.dat from the Litecoin Cash website, unzip and put it in data dir, when sync is finished you can delete it. Name a text file litecoincash.conf, insert the following and copy it to data dir. addnode=91.128.161.204 addnode=73.232.159.131 addnode=69.123.49.160 addnode=178.200.236.205 addnode=66.69.246.134 addnode=192.30.85.23 addnode=37.14.134.175 addnode=195.68.203.237 addnode=189.216.159.2 addnode=209.205.125.118 addnode=76.97.160.198 addnode=71.197.52.238 You'll be able to sync your node in a few hours. Wish I had known about adding nodes in a config file - would have saved time! (all up and running now tho)

Can someone eli5 how to use the console to import the bootstrap.dat so that I can be more up to date
Just copy it to C:/users/name/AppData/Roaming/LitecoinCash, Then open your wallet. If it is reading from the bootstrap in the bottom left corner of your wallet it should say indexing blocks on disk. Hope that helps Big THANKS

From Litecoincash website
Pre-release Bootstrap - We'll release a blockchain bootstrap that you can download before the wallet becomes available or any mining is done. This will allow everyone to start mining at the same time instead of first having an unfair block download race. We're going all-out to ensure a smooth and fair launch.

ill try the first two pools and still no wallet?
no wallet, no mining i guess? no im also waiting for wallet Patience, peeps. Unless the pools were given advance access to the code, they gotta sync up the same as the rest of us. I was kind of hoping they'd release the wallets passcoded a bit before launch, but they didn't. Thanks. So is that the case for any exchange/online wallet too? So no mining at the moment

If I keep my ltc in Yobit, will I get LCC there? And as the fork is taking place tomorrow, will I get LCC right away?
Fork is in less than 2 hours - 42 blocks to go oh great. so are we going to get it right away or it will take some time? Dunno about the exchanges, but if you're doing it right (your own wallet), you'll need to get it and get it synced, unless they're already ready with Electrum or some other SPV wallet. EDIT: That begs the question, doesn't it? How long after the fork will you be releasing wallets/sources, etc? I'm'a standing by Most mining pools need a LCC wallet address....

You don’t need an exchange to point your miners - you need a pool. Exchange is to sell your mined coins

One of my sticks from bitshopper is allways at cca. 10% HW errors. 8.5% was lowest I saw after 60mins and it stays arround 8.5-8.6%. I didn't tune anything but tried another way. Started at lowest clock @384, than @450... all the way up to 700, but allways is the same. VCORE=0.77V, VMEM=0.84V. I use Sipolar A-400 hub, only with this one stick in it for testing. Is it stick problem or should I try to tune it? Just need direction 'cause stock voltages looks ok, at least for clock speeds up to 600MHz...
Few sticks I have come across show this issue. Its rare, but the IO coms sometimes spit out garbage that is picked up as a hardware error, unfortunately no way to filter this out. As long as they hash fine you can ignore it (you just have to figure that 8.5% is 0% error for your stick when tuning). I have found the ‘- - benchmark’ setting to be very good at getting my HW below 1% for any clock speed

Customers who ordered last week with an announced lead time of ten days will get their delivery at first. There was no such announcement on your website. You shouldn't have listed the item as in stock and accepted orders and the payment as well. It's not acceptable to pay full price and end up as a sort of preorder. Cant really know ahead of time for issues like this, otherwise Im sure he would have made an announcement. Not his fault amazon is having issues in Europe. Either way previous two pre-orders were a 2 month wait, 10 days is not a pre-order :p I just want to say, I was very early on the 2nd preorder and got my Moonlanders last Sat (earlier than quoted delivery date) in Amazon packaging - that surprised me. Thanks Bitshopper.de

I'm not his lawyer but for the following questions:
a) Does this fork offer a significant improvement other than "you will be able to use old mining hardware" ? b) Is this altcoin registered in any exchange ? c) Is this a fork without premined coins ? d) Is there a whitepaper describing the theory and technicalities ? e) Is the team behind this fork transparent (their full names, first and last provided) ?
If the answer to most of the above questions is "no" then there are reasons enough to call this fork a scam.
What kind of scam ? Dunno. Here's a wild guess: Some people announce this fork and make some noise (in social media) in order to pump litecoin (which they have cheaply purchased before the announcement). Price goes up. They sell when price is up. Everyone understands that this fork is stupid and useless. Price goes again down. They buy back their LTC at a huge discount. PROFIT!
Now, this is much better post As I'm holding some LTC too, I won't reject some free coin, but I have some reservations too, and certainly won't be first to run LCC wallet... However, I'm bit tired reading "because Charlie Lee said so" posts...same thing was happening during every BTC fork, too Same here, I won’t be first out of the gate to collect, but I will collect the FREE coins to exchange into LTC

You need to use YOUR password as set up on your worker: -p your_password,d=256
I don’t know how to work out diff. Diff levels are to the power of 2.
My Moonlanders at 5 MH/s I’m using diff 1024 My L3+ at 500 MH/s I’m using diff 131072
Hope that helps
Edit: Litecoinpool standard port uses Varidiff, which if you let your miner run for a while, will pick the best diff for your miner

If your password is x, you need to type:
-p x,d=512
So that’s diff 512
Can’t help with the Jaxx wallet sorry
