364  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: September 14, 2017, 06:47:20 PM
It makes me laugh when I read all of those "HOLD HOLD HOLD!!1!111!".
BTC price is going down and it will not stop at current 3350$. It will go down much harder.
Everyone with a brain would sell it as price is going down and buy it back once it's low enough (it will go down to 2500$ at least) to get their BTC back and extra 850$/BTC for example. But everyone just spams HOLD, BUY IT NOW ("because I have some $ invested in btc and I want to earn cash").
I have sold all of my coins (around 10), I will buy them back in November. I will get all of my BTC back and extra ~1k$/BTC because of those exchanges. And you - don't forget to HOOOOLD  Grin

I am taking the opposite approach...
We know BC will hopefully go up again, so every time it goes down a bit (in this case, every 350) I buy some more. I take the profit once it goes up so I won't lose money in the long term by calling wrong bottoms.
Of course, it takes faith to do this...But if I don't believe in BC I might as well invest my money on JP Morgan

I don't know Why but i Just want to make same ATH guess like last time
Rules ....: the one  with the right date of ATH gets .25 btc paid directly  (UTC time)    (closest to ATH.....)
I look to Every page in here from now When a date is picked first iT cannot been taken again ( 1st =1st)
Another .25 btc is rewarded for ho makes best of technical analyse of the time When we strike ATH.... and Why iT happens at that time.....
So This .25 also only to been payed 1 time .... and not 2 times te same explanation.... (1st =1st)

Both answers to win must been inside before 20-09-2017
Goodluck to the ones that like This

UPDATE listmaking                 notice a * is when the person put good enough explanation for other .25 BTC  (person with no * only play ATH or have to put little better )

Maybe we passed the bull trap?

367  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN DUMP - CHINESE ARE OFFLOADING... on: September 13, 2017, 01:37:50 PM

Not sure why the difference. I think a better way is to span it across several days
In any case, I hope you are right!
368  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 13, 2017, 01:10:28 PM
...And the Chinese still have to wake up!
The fan is waiting... XD
369  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN DUMP - CHINESE ARE OFFLOADING... on: September 13, 2017, 12:38:46 PM

I wouldn't go that far. They're a small part of the total market - most of the trading takes place in the west. I think people would like China to continue to participate in the great bitcoin experiment, they have stars in their eyes about 1 billion people etc. The reality is most chinese don't participate and they are behind a firewall anyway.

The rise up to $4800 was driven by the west. It went too fast, we'll see a correction on the back of this "news", and then it will resume it's upward movement in a few months.

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/ says to me they have more than 50% the volume, not so small
370  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN DUMP - CHINESE ARE OFFLOADING... on: September 13, 2017, 12:10:08 PM
nah im pretty confused the reason behind these dumps if the china hasn't yet announced the news. they have some sort of special agent or what. china aren't banning bitcoin but just banning the existence of ICO
bitcoin users will be fine there and will always be as long as they obey the rules and pay taxes. pretty curious why people are so weak that they can easily dump their bitcoin at such cheap price. LOL

I think the market wants to move on without China, it is effectively 'dumping' the Chinese market %. Will be fun to see what happens once the coins start to get rare, should use these fluctuations to buy while we can, but not sure where this dump will end...

Well they should be because it has a big hard cock.

The bitcoin erection at the moment needs some blue pills mate XD

You are either nutso, or you are spreading misinformation if you believe that the current state of bitcoin is lacking potency.

Good luck with your shorts.   Cheesy Cheesy   Tongue

Completely uncapable of making money with trading, I am fully hodler!
But I didn't want to doubt the potency of bitcoin I am just saying it is a bit chub right now Sad
He is getting turned off by the Chinese

Well, even if we remained above $4000 but didn't cross $5000, we were technically in a bear market Wink

But I also disagree that Bitcoin is so much in "its infancy". Bitcoin is already 8 years old. It's not ultra-mature still, but it's an internet technology, these are "growing up" faster than "real world" tech. Where was Facebook when it was 8? Or Google? OK, you could say "it's a protocol, not a company". But then let's compare it to "social networks" in general. They appeared in 1997 with SixDegrees. Eight years later MySpace was already a relatively well-known and mature player. So I would say that Bitcoin in 2017 is at a similar level than social networks were in 2004/05 approximately.

Don't understand me wrong: Bitcoin can still grow, and grow a lot. But I'm currently not seeing so much "real world" growth that justifies 300%+ in less than a year. (bold, because permabulls seem not to get the importance of that "little" fact).

So... here is my conspiracy theory:
- BC is based on NSA's S-Box (AES)
- FB is basically NSA
- Since FB has become huge and nobody knows how (wink wink), BC will become huge as well.

Taking out my tin foil hat, that 300% is all the infrastructure that has grown since the last time I tried (and partially failed) to make sense out of bitcoin. It took time, and here I agree with you, will also take time for 'mass adoption'. It can still grow if 'stuff' happens (Russia being forthcoming now is great news), so all in all, I agree that if nothing happens now, we are going bear (hope not 1000$ bear tho). But then again, governments are waking up to bitcoin now, and if more investors start to come in, I can see the infrastructure to bring in people improving exponentially - you never know what is next Cheesy
375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 11, 2017, 09:45:06 PM
Let's hope so... I can't see BC growing at the pace we are used to without China

Chinese zero fee exchanges fucked Bitcoin's value for years on end. Every time there was a rise in the West, China dumped on it time and time again and for some reason the West was terrified of China despite it being four teenagers with bots. We only got significantly above 1000 dollars after China was closed down. China has done very little for Bitcoin's overall health.

I see where you are coming from, but China in 2014 was not what it is today. Maybe you are right, but I have the feeling that if BC wants to have trust from investors China needs to be onboard nowadays, Western markets will be worth less and less in the coming years
376  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 11, 2017, 09:15:20 PM

So there's still no confirmation that China is going to ban crypto exchanges, right?

It seems like some big media groups just rumored this off and everyone started to follow it. Bitcoin, in my opinion, along with all the alts, would now start its recovery phase towards $5000.

My understanding is that bloomberg, routers and WSJ kinda confirmed it though through other sources...
Plus I read rumors about a wallet china is preparing for their crypto. Likely they will make their own crypto and ban everything else... not sure what would be the use though.

From what I have heard ICO's are halted until they become regulated by the state

contrary to the FUD china is not banning exchanges or ICO's, just wanting to control and regulate it first

nefariously it is a great opportunity to implement state crypto allowing it to grow before trading against ICO's

Full on exchange ban I am afraid Sad

I think TA is like astrology - 50/50 chances Smiley
I tried it on an AI model, by applying TA (on normal stocks), I could increase my success rate by 20% sometimes, nothing more.
Unless someone can point me that TA clearly predicted the Chinese ban news...
380  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be careful. (Newbies and others ...) on: September 08, 2017, 02:29:56 PM
d5000
I do not know if this is a dip or not
But you just saved me loads of money.
