We need to wait and see. 2018 will be the year of crypto currencies for sure, especially if the Bitcoin's price keep increasing highly in the few next months. Also we need to study the Ethereum price because its the most powerful altcoin right now.

Actually i think no body can say directly that it will be pump. Sometimes media can support to pump a coin. If so many news support goes about a cons investors think that it will pump. At that time everybody hold that coin and at that time it pump. On the other hand you can see how many coin are in market? You have to take information from whitepaper or website of that coin.
So what you mean is to read first their whitepaper before anything else?. Probably that would help also, the news can distribute about the pump because it can trigger the mind of traders and investors causing a panic buy and sell of crypto. |

Does that even make sense with the current transaction times and fees? You are going to pay more for the fees than for your meal. Unless the fees go down drastically, it makes no sense to use bitcoin as a daily payment method.
I think it is time that everyone stop dreaming these kind of things with bitcoin,you cannot make a small transaction with bitcoin and never expect to make when the price of bitcoin keeps climbing to new all time highs,it would be a great addition when they accepted bitcoin earlier but now i am not interested anymore simply because of the transaction charges. There is an easy option, why not convert btc to fiat to buy foods. Just because of the transaction charge is much too high. they will keep your money, one of my closest friends is has an addictions to blackjack (for me is the same as dice) playing vs house
always lose, he almost ruined his life for gambling and now he's under psycological treatments.
Taking too much of everything can ruin our life especially in gambling. Dice game is very interesting because its easy and its only a matter of second of waiting. People still play dice because they have money and not worrying to lose at first until nothing left in their pocket. Because of the feeling of addiction they try to play again not knowing that they already lost more. If there's a money, people will continue to play as what I observed. |

I think trading is more risky.. As you said skill based gambling.. This is based on skill. Not anyone can just do it. So with skill, come a whole lot of lessons that will reduce your risks. I once heard a stat that said 90%/of traders lose their money.. That is why there's not enough money for anyone to pay me that would make me go into trading
You are one person which i see who said that trading is more risky than skill based gambling. It is your experience, that's why you are saying it, but in my experience, i know skill based gambling, depend on our skills, so same thing is happen in trading. We do trading behalf of our skills then i don't see any different between skill based gambling and trading, for me both are same. I agree. You see skill based gambling is a lot more similar to trading than most types of gambling games. You'll have a good chamce of getting good results if you prepare and study first the aspects that can give you an advantage. That applies for both. Both gambling and trading are risky because you put money on it. It will become more risky when it comes to bigger money involved. Not only gambling that need a skill but also trading because it needs analysis and monitoring. |
