1201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: November 30, 2017, 02:28:27 AM
Slot games I do not like, because a person can not affect the outcome in any way. I like blackjack more, here you can make decisions on the game.
Slots are luck based games, you can only appreciate this kind of game if you love having fun and hoping you will win based on your luck, and this is not a game where you have to play all the time as the longer you play the more you lose since you do not have an edge. Card games like Blackjack and poker can be categorized as skilled based games so this is the type of games we need to focus if we want to improve.
People like to play a game that depends on luck like slot. This game to think that it is only intended for fun and not to really get serious in it. The chance of winning are low and a high risk of losing money. That's why I don't like to play this game, best to play for me is the card games.
1202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: November 30, 2017, 01:11:43 AM
Indeed for gambling we have lots of confusion in it, because it is in gambling we also sometimes confused as to whether that was done right or wrong. But indeed to be able to get many of the advantages we also need calculations i.e. math, because every gambling also have the techniques or strategies so that they can get the victory. If it does not we do or we just let go about what we do, then the results will be obtained as just an unfortunate thing.
The fact is that in most cases, those people who play gambling and who met me, are not more than lucky in this matter. But I've heard a lot of stories about the fact that it is the math experts who are good players. But this was still hoped for by anyone.
Being good at math is an advantage when you're involved in gambling. Especially playing cards because you need to calculate and analyze what was already thrown away. But in other cases like playing dice and roulette it does not require math only lucky is your hope.
1203  Economy / Economics / Re: What to do with our new found wealth??? on: November 29, 2017, 11:17:19 PM
Well if you made millions and wanna sneak it ... Without notice of any government official..then I would recommend i split it in parts... Send it to trustable people..and remember this the .. problem only arrises when you go forward to encash it !
Thus.. send it to trustable people and... Encash the amount that for government isn't taxable..

And do this over a period..of...time and I don't think there will be any problems with this..

Because encashing is the whole trouble nothing else...

I agree with this friend who wrote this opinion above. Of course, that's a good strategy in order for us to still have our own wealth without the government noticing it because we might be taxed because we have bigger amount of money that we own. So we need to split it by putting it in different banks for example, or put it in another name so our will not be as big as the intact wealth we have in one bank.
Splitting millions of money nowadays is much easier compared in the past because of our new develop cryptocurrency. This is the power of the blockchain technology which protects the identity of the user, so I suggest that you can please your friends or relatives for help to split your money thru making digital wallet so that your money will be divided depending on how many you can count on.
1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is over 9000!Will bitcoin break records? on: November 29, 2017, 09:42:17 PM
from the way i am seeing this space, bitcoin could touch 20k before the end of this 2017, because a lot of people are getting to hear about bitcoin on daily basis and are looking to buy some of it so demand will continue to increase, so i think the increase in price has just started, we are still going to see some good increase in price.
I think 20k could touch at 2018 first quarter, this 2017 probably 10-15k is the target. Many histories that bitcoin breaking the records of the market cap. Many are now are really getting interested in bitcoin for its value is getting higher and higher.
1205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: November 27, 2017, 12:51:29 PM
I'm planning to buy some ETH, will it hit $1000 in 2018?

Need your suggestions
I don't think it will reach that high with only a little time left. It's already increased so much until it almost reach $500 so i don't think there will be another bull run until $1000. But if you give it time until 2019 then i believe it can reach that kind of price.
I think it is possible even it has a little time left because in crypto world nothing is impossible. Every altcoin especially ethereum has a potential growth so a $1000 on January 2018 could be possible reach.
1206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: November 26, 2017, 11:11:31 AM
Yes I do, when I'm gamble I usually set myself when I lose twice in a row I'll stop gambling because once I try try to gamble and I lose continuously I lose a lot of money so I limit myself.
Me too. I always set limits to myself because I don't want to get greedy. I do that when I lose because if I continue to gamble I will be losing much more money and that's not really cool. Greed is not allowed to take over me. Greed is dangerous, my friend.

For a start we set limit in gambling but when we get lost  we probably get frustrated so the limit that we plan from the start will be gone. We want to play again to get back what we lose until nothing left.
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: November 25, 2017, 08:39:20 AM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?
Yes, I do sometimes use others money, but I also pay them after I earn some money again so can borrow money again to them to pay debts and solve some certain problem and in playing gambling. It is not bad as long as you can pay them back.
It's a good idea, but i think it's too risky and you can find yourself in big troubles if you also lose the money of other people. Personally, I don't take this kind of risk. I don't like to gamble with people's money.

before we decide to use others money, we need to thinking that how we can pay that money and did we capable to earn more money in gambling. like FasTroy said, its too risky and its better to avoid this and only use our money so if we are loss, we only loss our money without thinking how we're going to payback the money.
This is the behavior of a gambler that is using others money, trying to get lucky. Better to stay away in this kind of trouble because it will only get worst and can make your life uneasy. Use own money instead to be safe.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: November 25, 2017, 04:48:06 AM
Saying of giving up gambling is very easy, practically I have seen in my life. Two of my dear friends use to gamble they addicted they cant stop themselves they use to borrow and go for gambling which to cant stop most of people in such condition only living. They wont feel any difference whether winning or loosing just gamble.
Not surprising , as those kind people has become an addict with the signs like that.
I mean seriously people who never try how to stop and just talking bs here&there don't know the feeling struggle and frustation about this.
We want to leave but the addiction is so strong force us to keep moving forward and make the situation become more and more worse than before.

Its just not easy and that's why the approach to curbing it should be taken with all seriousness. I know it is an unending walk into the abyss and wouldn't wish that anyone of us should get there but should you find yourself wanting to stop and can't its better to seek help from family or a psychologist.
So true that gambling is really hard to give up especially when we have money or anything that involves gambling. This kind of addiction really needs diversion like putting your time to your family instead of gambling. Maybe little by little we can minimize gambling.
1209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: November 25, 2017, 03:44:32 AM
First i will buy what i needs and my family needs and if theres more money i will donate it to poors and buy them needs, school supplies and ect, and i will keep the more money.
this is the important that we can do because we have continue our life and fill what we need. i will donate some of the winning money to people which really need foods, school or others so i can share what i have to them and makes them happy too. beside that, i will use the money to save in my bank account so if in future i am in emergency situations, i have my money to cover so i don't have to feel confuse.
For me, because I think of my family's future I would rather build a business to make sure I have a higher percentage of getting profit. Gambling has a low percentage of winning and can also drive to addiction so business is better for me.
1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: November 25, 2017, 12:22:27 AM
Majority of times I play for fun with an small amount which I can afford to loose and most of the times I end up loosing but its fun to gamble and the time between winning and loosing is the most crucial one which excites me the most but there are sometimes when I am in badly need of money and at that time I play for making profits by taking a risk of gambling with higher amount.

This is really the right way to gamble - to just play for fun with the money that we can afford to lose and we never mind what the outcome would be. The thing with gambling aiming for profit is that, whenever you lose, you lose big because you want high profit and you can do that by betting high or choosing low chance to win in order to win big.
Gambling is really a fun to do but be present minded because it can lead us to addiction especially when we got a winning streak. Gambling is created for fun but also there is a risk of losing all our money due to addiction. Profit is only an outcome of gambling if we're lucky. Enjoy gambling but don't take it seriously.
1211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite type of gambling? on: November 24, 2017, 10:53:29 PM
Sportsbetting. I like to feel like I'm in some sort of control when gambling. If I'm doing roulette or slots or whatever it's pure luck. But if I bet on a team in sports, I feel like I have some sort of control. I know anything can happen, but I still like the feeling.
Feeling which means that you're depending on your luck not like sports like basketball that you can predict who will win based on the team status. That's why I love to bet on basketball because I can choose a stronger team and a high percentage of winning not like playing dice and roulette.
1212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: November 24, 2017, 12:41:17 PM
Still Cavaliers. Yes you think they might be the "aged" group but wait till you eat your words. They might be under and not dominating now but wait for it...

Warriors still the strongest team this coming 2018, for me it's the perfect team for now because they have the best shooter and also an intelligent coach.
1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling? on: November 24, 2017, 04:10:27 AM
I also have a highschool friends that turned to be a gamble addict, they are playing moba games in an internet cafe with stakes off course and there is a day when they encourage me to bet with their team and luckily we won. The only problem with gambling is the emotions of the gamblers that making them into a state of having an intimate desire to win or to play for a longer time, I agree with you about time management, it will really help a lot.
I remember those days that my highschool friends are pushing me to play with them after class with a gambling game that they just invented. I can't understand how it goes but I still remember that I used to lose time from a class just because of them. But right now that I've grown up and knows what to prioritize never starts to do something crazy just for the sake of gambling.
Yes I experienced being late at work due to gambling in playing dota. In playing games, I sometimes forgot the time and late to realize that I'm already late to work and the worst thing is I do file a leave of absence. So now I learn to manage my time and control myself.
1214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you learn from your gambling mistakes? on: November 23, 2017, 12:01:49 PM
Well the important part there is always to learn and not to commit the same mistakes again or at least avoid committing the same ones. Most of the time people are like this anyways. Its not that often than someone keeps making the same mistakes over and over again

We are humans and we make mistake all the time and it is normal to commit mistake but what is not normal is when you dont have the initiative to learn from your mistake. If you dont learn from your mistake then what is the point to commit the same mistake over and over again. To learn from gambling mistake is going to let us make better decision in the future

Well that's a deeper excuse mate as a human, of course we are to commit mistakes but having an excuse just for commiting it isn't right. Because if you wasted your money out of gambling, I think you didn't need to play gambling at worst just to learn over our mistakes. If we experience that losses, then quiting is the best solution and not trying to recover the loss, because that will frustrate you eventually.

That's the hardest thing to do, quitting in gambling. Easy to say but hard to do. We make mistake but when it comes to gambling it's really hard to quit because we think that it's only a small amount until we realize that its getting bigger.
1215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: November 23, 2017, 02:04:13 AM
Gambing is good if you are able to control it. It becomes bad or wrong when you can't control it like you sold things because the reason is you lose much and because of that little by little your already under control of addiction.
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do most people invest in wrong ICOs to lose money ? on: November 22, 2017, 12:40:10 PM
Define wrong ICOs? this actually leads to a good and most appropriate investment. But there will always back to investor, we cannot judge wrong when others maybe say true. And like kryptqnick say people invest is not for losing money. So they must be do their own research before investing.

Because many ICO are very promising and have a really good platform. Investing in ICO is like a gambling because we didn't know will it be successful or not. So taking a risk is part of the game.
1217  Economy / Economics / Re: Uruguay to Launch Digital Currency, “Not Bitcoin” it Stresses on: November 21, 2017, 11:39:39 AM

Uruguay’s Central Bank (BCU) formally presented rollout of its pioneering digitization of the Uruguayan peso on 3 November 2017. Set now as a pilot program, the bank’s head was careful to remind it “is not a cryptocurrency such as bitcoins,” but “a currency that remains the responsibility of the BCU,”

https://news.bitcoin.com/uruguay-first-in-the-world-to-launch-digital-currency-not-bitcoin-it-stresses/

While this is not a project for decentralized currency, I think is great that a Central Bank has jumped into digital currencies.
One thing I believe it will happen is that i.e: merchants will need to adapt their POS systems to digital currency and probably allowing the co-existence of Cryptocurrencies and people getting used to it, I see this as a positive move, though. printing bills is expensive for Uruguay as it´s printed in Casa de la Moneda in Chile..

Uruguay has set the pace for many things throughout history in Southamerica (Women´s voting in the early 1900´s, universal health care, cannabis legalization, abortion legalization among other things). Very proud of my country Smiley

They may want to change its name but its function will be the same.  So no matter what will be the term or name, it is still a digital currency.

How could it be a digital currency, but not a cryptocurrency such as Bitcoins? That doesn't even make any sense at all. If it is a digital currency, then it must be like Bitcoins because Bitcoin is also a digital currency. Cheesy

This test of launching digital currency in Uruguay goes beyond the concept of being decentralized, is governed and managed by a State Bank, and this bank is the owner of our wallets would never be our money. So the government really finding ways that our money would still pass through them.
1218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash surpasses the market cap of Ethereum on: November 20, 2017, 01:08:31 PM
I'm curious will BCH stays on the 2nd place after the incoming difficulty increase. My guess is that most of the miners will switch again to BTC, slowing down the BCH and making very hard BCH miners to sell their coins to the market.

I don't like the whole BCH-BTC drama and I'm hoping that BCH will fail. Not because of the project, but because to discourage similar dramas in future. This is not good for any ordinary player on the crypto-market around.

The reason why bitcoin cash surpass the market cap of ethereum is because of the cancellation of segwit2x. That's why many were questioning about the ranking of coin because nobody can predict its real value.
1219  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum coin to begin trading? on: November 20, 2017, 01:42:47 AM
I was wondering what's minimum / ideal amount of BTC or ETH I should have in order to start trading activity

If you have any idea or just want to share your first experience in crypto trading, feel free to write them bolow

In my experience, there is no such needed minimum amount to be able to start crypto trading. What is necessary in crypto trading is minimum amount of crypto trading skills and understanding. Without such minimum knowledge, however large your starting capital would be, you will always end up gaining nothing in the end. That is why, learning requires patience. But of course, just to be safe about it, it is better to start small, say $100.

For me to be safe, I only trade what I can afford to loose. There are really many ways to start in trading but be cautious so that you will not lose hope when you fail in your first trading.
